We have no idea how that song sounded with just him rapping on it, we hear the finished version with Dre. He clearly says he didn’t know what the song was going to do he never said it was a song that could have elevated his career to the next level.

Glad this came across my timeline. Good to see, especially with a clown like Dj Clark Kent, who Im sure doesnt even know this info, getting on social media the past few days, talking down on both RBX as an emcee and The Chronic. Typical east coast biased nonsense. Anyhow, there's no Chronic without all of RBX's contributions to that album. That whole team that made The Chronic made hip hop hiatory.

Me, too. I know Snoop wrote "Nuthin But A G' Thang" and "Dre Day" tho. Would love to get a track-by-track breakdown one day of who all wrote "The Chronic." Snoop also wrote "This DJ" by Warren G, which should be obvious to anyone who's a Snoop fan, because that's his whole cadence throughout that song.
