Same, Az, my mid teenage years first heard him mid 90's, met him while working with local Phoenix underground artists in 2006,still bumpin.
I first heard that 24 Deep back in 92 and been a fan every since. But that Season of the Siccness sealed the deal!!!!!!

Most gangsta rap artists back in the 90s after dropping a crazy good debut would drop the ball on the 2nd album, look at Tha Doggfather and Dr.Dre presents The Aftermath! But Lynch with 24 Deep then Seasons was insane yo. So many artists can't do that if their life depended on it!

What Lynch and Phonk Beta did is unmatched, I wasn't surprised to learn about his interests in film later on, that Sacramento sound was cinematic. I think Lynch's work should be mentioned any time someone talks about how raw or dark Mobb Deep's The Infamous is. Those twisted pitch bent basslines were so far ahead of their time, dude is truly an artist.

Soren Baker does a really good job interviewing people… he actually knows the music very well of the people he interviews… unlike Vlad who knows very little about the artist’s music he interviews and often times makes mistakes and just seems to ask people controversial questions trying to get people to incriminate themselves. Soren doesn’t do that… he just talks music and it’s cool that he knows his stuff!

First off great interview! Love to see Brotha Lynch open up about some of the behind the scene stuff, it's been a while since his ghetto celebrities interview. A lot of the quiet creative types in this world never get a chance to tell their story. It's good to see him still kicking it! One of the best to ever do it underground AND mainstream. I always thought Lynch brings the best outta people whenever he's on a track with them. "fuck peace, hoes, and flat tops" So many quotables from every album and the smoothest use of "mutha-fucka" too. 😁

Yoooo!!! 24 Deep still one of my favorite albums to this day. I remember first hearing that album after my boy let me check it out and thinking this dude might be one of the greatest rappers of all time. The musical presentation and rap skills and flow was like nothing I’d ever heard. Didn’t matter what his content was about. BLH was F’n DOPE!!

Lynch got classics: 24 Deep, Season of the Sicc,Loaded ,EBK and the Virus and Lynch by Inch. Also the 2 albums with COS. Let's not even bring up all the singles for compilations...... He is one of the greatest!
I would tell people where I lived as a child and all around people would say “the gardens”?! I had no clue until a white boy let me listen to his tape in 94’! I couldn’t believe what I was listening too. I couldn’t stop and haven’t stopped since! Best rapper alive. No matter where I go people always feel and love his music.

Love lynch. Him and x raided. I got to meet x. Here in PHX.. But I grew up listening to lynch. My freshman year. 1 friend had 24 deep so I went looking and found the cd. And back then I was on the black market. Hahaha
Got up on 24 deep and gas chamber same night in 92 or93.... couldn't tell me shit slidin to school next day in my lil jalopy I'm 46 now and I have to say the lunch word play shows no dust when you go back neither does c-bo's but this a brotha Lynch interview loaded is one of my favorite albums in the world period!!!
