Razor E300 modified fast 30mph

Спорт

Super fast E300 at 48V 10.4Ah Lipo powered. A great little project using Lipo batteries to make this scooter move a little faster than standard.

This is very cool. I just found my brother in laws E300 that he played with once when he was little. The batteries were completely bloated and it makes a lot of sense to replace it with li-po batteries. I can do everything you describe except except wire the batteries in parallel so I'm very much looking forward to your future videos. You're doing the internet an incredible service. Thank you.

Ras anal Ghul & The Shadow League yes you can use the key switch in place of the scooter ON switch or have it as well. I didn't use the circuit breaker as it may have tripped with the extra power. Just fit a 30-40A fuse in line with the Lipo positive to the controller. Your controller should have a power input wire coming from the original switch to turn it on, just wire this via the key switch which is built into the throttle assembly. Then wire positive to one side of the key switch, other side of the key switch to the controller. Now the controller won't turn on until the key switch is in the on position.

Hi Richard Talbot I like the build very much, I’m thinking of modifying my e300 would you be able to offer me some advise before I start my project? I would like more power to climb hills I’m not really after speed 15 or 20mph would be ok I already have a 36v 350w controller a 36v throttle and I will get 1 hoverboard battery 36v 4.4ah would this be enough? Should I get a different battery? I am 90kg

"Big motor Razor" by TK is very informative. I watched all of his vids before purchasing 500wt 36v motor, variable speed controllers with voltage readout, new 36v/500wt control module,15T/38T T8F sprockets and chain... inbuilt mine in about 4 hours and it's FAST!!!! Waiting for 10ah Li-Ion battery pack consisting of 18650 Samsung Batteries ( the kind that is used in Tesla Electric Cars)

Hamid9e Motor handles all the power that the 500w controller can dish out! Plenty of torque for my 180lb weight but because I wanted more torque I recently installed a 38T rear and a 12T motor sprocket with T8F chain. Now it only goes 16-18 mph top speed Maybe faster If i pointed the scooter downhill LOL

Made the connectors with some silicon cable and xt60 connectors. Unfortunately I sold the scooter but believe it's still going although the batteries are on their way out now after a few hundred charges. The secret is keep the rider weight down so the motor doesn't get too hot otherwise it wont last!

You'll need a parallel charging board to charge at least 3 lipo packs = 44.4V also some heat shrink(ebay) and fuse and holder(local car parts shop). I have a RC shop where I live so I go there for XT60 connectors but you can get them on eBay again. Hope that helps. I'm considering drilling some holes in my motor face plates to keep it cooler as it gets hot when I ride it. Just bare that in mind when doing this project.
