A note about safety: commuting year round means riding in the dark in winter. I always wear a reflective, high visibility vest, red lights in the back of my helmet, a bright white light in the front of my helmet so I can see potholes and other hazards. It's important to be highly visible for distracted drivers.

@@theWZZA My scooter should be arriving tomorrow.I will check it out and see what I could do. I like the wooden handlebar. Wooden handle are good road absorber. I am thinking about running smaller diameter and adding bicycle tube wrap inside the T-bar.

I got the DXL model and has a twisty screw on the quick release. tighten the screw will eliminate the play. For the regular a5 lux has a Allen screw in the front where you tighten against the swinging arm. I would recommend a thin double sided tape and a square aluminum to put in between. It will last longer. I add a L aluminum long brace on the bottom to keep it from scraping up. Let me know if you want a video tutorial?

I'm sure there is, but I haven't done it, because it doesn't bother me.
