This laptop can also handle Red Dead Redemption 2 with nice graphics, I was taken aback by such a strong laptop like this since this is my first time that I have bought such a high-end laptop.

oh you're using a k6 too? i'm currently typing this comment on it, bought it 5 days ago and havent had the need to charge at all, i also lubed the switches/stabs and swapped out the keycaps as well, and great review btw

Hi. I really enjoy watching your videos. Keep going! I have a desktop for 2 months now and its very powerful, nothing to rage about. But because I'm on the way often Its very hard without a laptop. So I thought about keeping the desktop and buying a laptop around 800$. Im producing music for a long time and use Fl Studio. Do you think I should sell my desktop and get the razer blade or what should I do?! I'm freaking out for months just because that stupid problem. Thanks for any help and much love 💖💖

Thank you for the support it's much appreciated! What gpu is in your desktop? And if you sell it how much can you get for it? If you can put roughly 1500+ into a laptop with a 3000 series gpu it will check off all the boxes 👍

@@BeyjanBeatz for this specific reason I bought a Best buy warranty. Every time I've had to return to Best buy it has been a breeze so it really took the anxiety out of the purchase and allows me to just enjoy the laptop!

Hey Steven, I am conflicted between the Zephyrus G15 and the Blade 15 2020 RTX 2060, I still haven't pulled the trigger on the blade because many people reported battery bloating, and I am sorta broke and can't afford the battery replacements. Would this last 2 - 3 years easy? How is it going so far with the device?

I have had 0 problems with mine and use it very heavily. I wouldn't buy this machine without a warranty though, just to take the stress out of the possibility of it failing 👍

How is your hinges experience to this day? The opening angle is a bit small. everything intact?

feels the same as it did on day one, very nice. The real thing you have to worry about is the battery. Blades are notorious for battery bloat. Mine is still good though!

Hi buddy, how about thermals, saw in some reviews that runs very very hot, even some users said that the palms rest could be harmful. What are your thoughts about it, while gaming and in daily basis workflow. Thanks in advance! nice video.

I've played warzone on this for a very long period of time and the only issues I had with palm heat is from them getting sweaty from my nerves haha

Hello Steven. I have the same model. However, my Touchpad doesn't work sometimes. It is like the sensitivity is lost by 5 seconds. Do you have the same problem?

That seems very odd, I personally have not had this issue. Reinstalling windows precision drivers or factory resetting your machine may help

I got razer blade 15 base 2020 3 weeks ago and............ And the 2021 does not even has improvements other than a new GPU And Dolby THX I had the worst experience freaking 3 replace and still things are worst First Week First Replacement: Battery, Fan and charger pin Issue. The battery overcharged and heated up at idle so much that the processor was confused "should I heat up or the battery???" and the fan issue was that as soon as you move your laptop from one place to another the fan started making ticking noises and the plastic coating on the pin had some barely visible scratches like you put the pin on a floor and grab a heavy piece of rock and hit it few times and then clean it up with a cloth how will it look like? this is how exactly it was looking like but only the plastic coating the pin was hope fully good. Second Week Second Replacement: Hinge Issue and speakers issue so as the laptops is a fingerprint magnet because of the texture on it you have to clean it time by time and I can live with the because of the beauty it offers but almost every other thing about this laptop sucks I was cleaning this laptop and I wiped my cloth on the hinge of the laptop and heard a crackling noise "What's that?" I wiped it again and the same crackling noise so I decided to return this tomorrow as it was night and I had an idea that I should also test out the rest of the things like battery, speakers, keyboard, trackpad etc so the battery was perfect keyboard and trackpad had no problem but when I came to speakers another story begin the right speaker had 26% lower volume than the left one and even on a low volume the speaker was making a weird noise and had way less bass than the left one the fan issue was also resolved, 2 issues gone 2 issue came wow what an excellent job razer! keep up this ****** work with every laptop you make!!! and this issue was not only present in 1 laptop or 2 laptop in 3 laptops that I've tested so far and I know there will be soo many more laptops that will have different issues just like the 2019 models had what improvements did you made? making the right Shift key bigger? that was already bigger in the 2018 model that was your improvement? Third Week Third Replacement: Another Shiny looking laptop Another Shinny Unboxing Another WTF Same Speaker Issue but this time had little more sound than the previous one this time around 20% and the same hinge crackling little bit stiffer than before because the in the previous one I could barely feel it even if you put a short amount of weight and one more issue got present it's the right fan (GPU Fan) It's loose If you move the laptop a little bit the right fan make sound like there is something like a piece of plastic stuck in it I don't if if it's something els the battery is not the issue in this one and the previous on it was only a problem in the first one but one thing to keep in mind is that there are no standers of a battery capacity as I've tested the batter in every laptop and they all hade different capacity like the second one has gone to 72 watts after doing a full charges from 25% to 100% this one has just got to 66.5W and it is fixed there the first one had got to over 78W and then next day fall to 54W and every razer laptop I've found yet has a battery life of 1- 1 hours and 50 minutes with a normal use on just web browsing on chrome and when you do stuff like photo shop, primer pro or just play Microsoft Solitaire the battery last around 45 to 53 minutes and shows the battery warning that is defaultly set to 10% low battery and 5% critical if you chose every settings default like you just simply installed the windows that comes with razer and you don't mess around with the setting which is also called "Factory Settings" I'm just a normal guy not a "Reviewer" or anything I'm just sharing how I've been treated by razer and I know The time that have gone wasted and that struggle I don't think any actions would be taken on me because simply they don't care. A great lesson from razer🙁

That bad I’m looking at the 15 advance or the 17 2021 models but iv heard the 15 is garbage that the fans turn on over basic use and gets really hot

What do you think about Razer blade 15 rtx 2080 super max q 1080p for 1792 USD? Worth it?

That's a great deal but only if you can get a warranty from a retailer such as best buy. Razers QC for blades is very spotty

Did you made that video for g sync? I got the same laptop but I can’t get the gsync enabled. I have a samsung g7 monitor

Hi.. Thanks for your video on this.. I'm considering buying this.. I am going to use it for some light Cs go playing and then for photo editing and to make content for my small free time website where I display my woodwork.. How do you consider the screen quality of the 144 hz? I have been thinking to buy the oled version, but then my gaming would take a hit. But it's very important for me that the screen is okay in terms of colour accuracy and nits.. Would the 144 hz be good for me? :)

I have the same exact laptop, and however, my short review for this laptop is mostly negative. (Had the laptop for 6 months now) It's probably happening to me only because I noticed that my brother (who also owns the same laptop as mine) has no problem playing games on the highest graphics. Pros : - Sturdy, sleek design - Smooth 144hz screen - A nice trackpad Cons : - Can barely run any games (games such as counter-strike or dying light, even at the lowest settings) - Gets EXTREMELY HOT while running any games. (pretty much happens to everyone who owns this laptop) - FPS Starts to drop after 5 minutes. Edit : - Lack of battery life I've tried nearly every solution, such as increasing fan speed, power plans, get a laptop stand for better airflow, I even got a monitor because I thought it may be the screen. My Specs : - RTX 2060 -16GB of Memory -144hz screen -Core i7 10th Gen

Sadly I think I am going to hold off on laptops until the 3000 series Nvidia chips are out. The stealth looks like a great laptop though and I'm sure if you got it you wouldn't be disappointed!

Upon further investigation I have found that the TDP is 90W due to razer capping the power to the gpu. It is capable of 115W but as of now there is no option in the bios to push the gpu that hard sadly.

@@tmu9728 if battery life is a big concern and you really want to go with razer then go for the 11th gen intel blades. (The razer book or newest stealth). Those machines will get you close to 10 hours. But for the price the g14 is the way to go! I go in depth about this on my blade vs g14 video if you'd like to check it out👍

I just got this laptop and I get around 6 hours of browsing on edge at 60hz. Possibly could get 7 with no keyboard backlight and lower brightness

I Want to Game with it (CoD Cold War) for 6+ hours 1-2 days a week. Is it Good for that?

Yes it is! This is actually the game I primarily play and it runs it like a champ 👍 even pushes 80-90 fps on my 1440p monitor

@@lukiohearn173 depends how many things you have running off of it at once. You can hook a mouse up to it and game on it all day with no issues with heat. The fans will kick on but not obnoxiously unless you really try to max some settings out with ray tracing
