Hello how're you doing today

Everytime my father starts drinking. He get in the station wagon and plays Ray Charles 8 Track Let’s go get stone! He played that song over and over again. And one day my father came to his senses and stop drinking . RIP Ray Charles and my father miss u so much! Love u. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤love you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

We are exactly the same age. I grew up in France but this song is part of the soundtrack of my teenage years. Ray Charles was an immense talent. Btw, these young backup singers are every bit as good as the original Raeletts.

Nobody could sing like Ray

I tell you tears poured from the eyes on that one. My Grandma recalled hearing that sound when it first was coming out and thinking that it was probably the best thing she had ever heard. Just so, so good.

Ray doesn't sing and play, He takes you with him to another place...Thanks Ray for all the years of great music..may you tickle those keys for all time in the house of The Lord

I know Elvis has made a version of this song but years after Ray Charles made his epic version. Elvis covered Ray Charles songs already on his first album 1956.

Ray never sang a song the same way ___ this version is so unique and of course he performed this so many times ___ nonetheless this is great stuff

He didn't need autotune or enhancements. He didn't rap. He didn't have an overinflated ego or seek attention. He just sung his soul out with passion. A lot of modern "artists" could learn from Charles. An absolute legend.
