Ball Player Balm is the best all around cleaner. Works great on leather and logos.

rag 05 yes. You can text on a piece of the leather that isnt seen. People use all diffrents kinds of cleaner.

Michael J I dont clean the interior of the glove. Sometimed there may be pebbles on the inside that fall out, but other then that, no.

Also, the reason I asked was that I got a HOH testbed 13"-er off eBay for learning, and in the photos, the inner palm looked horrible with cracked dried up dark leather. Turns out it was actually just very old grime buildup and with the quality of that leather underneath, it cleaned up amazingly well. So glad I got rid of that yuck!

Michael J I do clean the liner if it is dirty, prevents cracking. I thought you meant the actual interior. My bad.

Why do people bend the thumb back like that? I have seen a lot of that in recent years. What's the idea behind that?

It just personal preference. It opens up the glove, making it wider, and giving the ball more room to find the pocket. Also helps promote a flatter pocket, for quicker transfers.

Hey, what conditioner do you use or is that just from the glove cleaner you use?

theDarven I just apply a light coat with my hands. Then wait an hour, and use a cloth to wipe off any excess.

I use water to help create the suds, but don’t dilute it.
