Great video. If you are trying to follow along....just hit settings and turn it to .25 speed. Loved the video. My 16 has used the same Pro Preferred Rawlings for 5 years and it just broke on the fingers. This video helped a lot. $400 glove and a $25 dollar fix. Nice dude

Your vids are super helpful. This one is paced fast enough to move through the stitching while still seeing the nuances...Do more at this speed. A few others were so fast that I got a bit dizzy and struggled to see the details. As a kid I used to steal my dads Red Wing work boot laces to fix my gloves when needed. My Nokona infielders glove is about 25 years old now and going strong. I got it when I was 27 playing in a 30 and over MSBL league. In some spots it looks like new lacing is ready, but I will wait for them to break first. My Louisville outfielders glove is close to 30 years old and it is so solid. I attribute their long life to Mink Oil Paste. I found your vids recently. I bought new gloves over the years for my son as he progressed through little league and PONY. He is using a HOH Rawlings NP4 for infield now. We retired his SP204 HOH Mark of a Pro. I thought it was a good back up glove and senseless to sell. I hated the web of the Mark of a Pro, so I found an I Web on ebay and that is when I found your vids. Double X Pattern is going to happen tomorrow....the rest of the glove is re-stitched. I just signed up to play in a wood bat league - 25 and over, (I am now 53...yikes). I am going to use my standby Nokona, but it is so thin and my index finger big knuckle is super tender. My son throws hard and some balls just slightly toward the palm end up with serious pain. I used to wear my batting glove inside my baseball glove. I also buy thick leather receiver gloves instead of regular batting gloves. Anyhow, I now prefer bare hand in the glove and miss that extra padding. I recently opted for a HOH of my own..PRONP4. I still love that little 11" Nokona...it opens up so wide, it is like a frying pan. My son was shocked at how good I could field balls. I would coach him up, but I think he was doubting my ability. Now that I am going to play again, I make him hit me infield. His first comment was...."wow...you don't miss". Fuck yeah boi....the old man has played middle infield for 46 years. I am just amazed that none of my gloves have needed re-stitching with so much use. Maybe it is the way I care for them...I love covering them with Mink Oil Paste, (RedWing Boot care). It does make them heavy which is a slight negative, but the leather is primo. I now glide a little Neatsfoot oil over the gloves. I swear, that leather seems like it will last forever. Thanks for your vids.

DGR - I am on a roll with relacing...LOL I just finished another Rawlings HOH PRONP4-2BC. On this glove the pocket/palm leather is buckling a bit and I opened the heel and there isn't much of that sticky stuff to hold the leather together. What is that substance? I put some Tiger Stick "pine tar" in there. What does Rawlings/glove makers use?

It is palm adhesive. There are a couple of people who make it. Have to find what product is right for you.

I have been looking for a good, consistent lace company. Who do you get laces from? Tanners has been inconsistent with thickness and stiffness of laces.

I appreciate the content. Best I've come across on YT. I wish this wasn't time lapsed so I could follow it more easily. I just bought a HOH at Dicks for $100 brand new! I talked them into discounting it for me because someone cut the lace to try to steal it. But it's totally salvageable. It's in perfect condition. So this is the exact video I need. Just a little hard to follow. I only need to do the web and fingers across the top. The bottom of the glove lace is all intact. Do you have a video of a step by step? Or do you know of one? Thanks for the content! I subscribed
