I honestly love how they did her character here. They showed how powerful she actually is.

I've never seen any of these movies tbh besides these clips but they're not close to what her classic version was capable of , she has a lot of hacks such as : Reality warping as well resistance Draining and absorbing black holes and holy weapons tier stuff Psionic abilities Creation Weather manipulation Super speed strenght and high stamina Shotting laser from her eyes Manipulating hell fire and summoning them from her father's realm Long deadly nails to scratch out her brother's heart Mind blocks High durability Classic raven could react to speedsters and casually caught up with wally west in the speed force and she once flew so fast that parallax couldn't even catch her and her soul self is extra dimensional etc this is only base supressed raven that holds back... In one of the comics, an enraged raven one shot belial the same belial who godstomp hela.. the children of trigon are no joke they are high tier hell lords and war locks and they get their powers from TRIGON and trigon pretty much butchers odin and asgard yet she one shot belial not saying that base raven scales to a skyfather at peak yes but base not really but she can take down hela etc however one time professor X tried to enter raven's mind but she sneezed him like a fodder and knocked him out casually with zero effort in her base. so yeah you could tell she's way too nerfed.

I also think the writers wanted to take a whole dumb on raven in this movie like how a pipe would kill her she is no glass canon in comics she has a healing factor almost wolverine like thanks to her soul self and raven once healed from 4th degree burns and raven has stamina worth months has a great battle IQ so she's not stupid she's a skilled fight one time raven faired better against batman in hand to hand combat and admitted she was very formidable yes Bruce is a better fighter but he still admitted she hits hard anyways she gave him such a tough time. He has ridiculous level of durability and stamina she absorbed a holy weapon an avatar of darkseid and all the souls of each fallen in Olympus even took the pains of all the sufferers from hell into her yet he her she faints from using her powers.

Well it's good that powerful characters decide to use their op abilities to help others and protect the world instead of hurting and trying to destroy the world and wanting world domination.

Opinion: I like this version of Raven. I love how she calls upon the mother of Azurath to give her strength instead of having her chant "Azurath metrion zenthos" 24/7 to fully activate her powers. Also sorry for my bad spelling.

I agree. Taissa has a really distinctive and beautiful voice. It’s low, hushed, melodic, and soothing. Perfect for Raven. Some people in the comments don’t like it because it’s not your typical over-the-top voice acting, and they’re comparing her to Tara, but they need to get over themselves tbh

Raven stomped Shazam in post crisis, she warped Azarath into a cursed dimension after her birth immediately and the sky turned black by her demonic presence in the comics and destroyed her first planet as 10 years old. Raven is a teacher now and an adult 25 years old , Raven is Shazam's teacher now and his mother figure as well.

Cuerent base Raven is a hell lord and low end Sky father level now anyway beyond herald level tiers and her magic is superior to Merlin. Classical Raven was a universe buster at base full potential. Adult Raven is more powerful, she's a hell lord as of now.

It's the same situation as Spawn many people didn't know him while I've always loved him since he came out in 1992 and i remember people telling them about Spawn and they were like "who's that ?" In the 90s ghost rider was more known than him so it's just a popularity contest people judge things without knowing a jack about the characters and bash them nobody even cared about the punisher before netflix and there are people who don't know that venom has become an individual character and he peaked in king in black so it's more of a popularity contest. BTW did they say she sucked before the 2003 series came out ?

Raven's speed is on the same level as speedsters and her telepathy effects them in the comics if you look up her feats, I don't understand why they make her a glass canon or slow, Raven is a solid 100 tonner and FTL.

Raven gets wekaer because of the writers,she is a demon so she should be superhuman due to her cambion physiology and I find it bizzare that she can hide from her father's eyes in JL vs TT 2016 but can't do that in the last film!This whole Raven being powerless could've been avoided if the writers had been competent but the director and writers decided to make her powerless,why she and superman didn't go there?Pretty much Darkseid himself won't find them.

@@eivor5453 I do read comics and I'm aware that Scarlet Witch's capabilities is out of this world, but it would be amazing, thrilling and remarkable to watch this two having a fight even one time since they do share some same abilities and power. So it's just "What If" there's no need to be taken really serious here coz everyone knows who's the most capable😊.

Her telepathy is not that impressive regular jean entered her mind and saw her memories without wanda knowing until jean told her heck rogue clapped her numorous times and bannerless hulk one shot her and strange mind controlled her while raven knocked out professor X CASUALLY and unconscious blocked brother blood and took all his knoweldge so magik entering raven's mind fun fact in 80s RARELY whoever enters her mind was getting attacked by non other by trigon himself. Raven took down a bloodlusted orion the same orion who killed darkseid multiple times even an enraged proved to be superior than an enraged superman and sometimes needed a mother box to calm him down but she did it casually caught up with wally west in the speed force and she once flew so fast that parallax couldn't even catch her and let's not forget that she has a healing factor almost wolverine like thanks to her soul self and raven has wolverine levels of pain tolerance and healing factor sge absorbed the sword of zuraiel which cut the spectre and she absorbed the souls of each fallen in Olympus she even absorbed an avatar of darkseid she took the curse of a child who was cursed by trigon himself and took into her self she once healed from 4th degree burns and raven has cosmic awareness too and matter manipulation and resurrection abilities and absorbing abilities are insane and molecule man she stomped belial the same belial who godstomp hela and she smoked the floor with her nephew etrigan while holding back and one time raven murdered trigon's brother (her uncle) and took his powers without breaking a sweat. Raven is no regular demon she scales to a hell lord basically a vastly more powerful hela. If comics base vs base pre 2000s in this case Raven would down right murder wanda. Raven has greater feats and abilities and stats.

If it's comics then it's a much easier stomp for raven. Raven's feats and abilities and stats dwarf Wanda's like mountains and wanda couldn't even beat a mindcontrolled thor while raven took down a bloodlusted orion and one time she one shot belial who's a powerful demon and hell lord who would godstomp hela in fact she ripped Belial's heart out of his chest bare handed. Raven mops wanda in base levels fight also wanda's hex wouldn't even tickle raven who tanked an atmoic blast arrow from trigon with her bare body he even straight up punched her right clean yet she got up and healed immediately raven has an absurd healing factor and an immortal even the presence himself banned her from the heaven. Know comic raven first her feats and abilities and stats are better sge even terrified superman inside of his dreams while wanda us mentally unstable...

It’s because it allows for a better flow of power. You can feel it if you try continuously drawing a circle and continuously drawing a square. When you make the circle there is a steady flow. When you make the square, the flow stutters at the corners. If you use a shape with corners in magic, energy gets caught in them, making magic less efficient. I assume circles are preferred over ovals and ellipticals because circles are perfect.

I would've loved to see her do the same thing she did to Dr Light in the original teen titans in this animation

They were. In the movie right afterwards Damien glowed purple momentarily indicating that they were the ones she put the protection spell on

But being in a situation like her where she can't feel emotions and have to be always on check must be hard. Imagine having all that pent up emotion. Therapist won't agree. Maybe that's why nobody trusted her . She could easily turn evil.

She's is my favourite hero from teen titans..she is so powerful 😘

@@ijimenez1951 raven would be just standing there lol, you probably know nothing about the comic raven has reality warping and resistance to it in comics she has cosmic awareness too and matter manipulation and resurrection abilities absorbing abilities and molecule manipulation better feats and sorcerer sure wanda has absorbing abilities but fail miserably compared to raven. Wanda sucks at telepathy even jean grey entered her mind and saw her memories without wanda knowing until jean told her heck jean mopped the floor with her on multiple occasions and classic strange was thousands more powerful than her in fact he mind controlled her casually and horrible at using magic while raven knocked out professor X who's one of the greatest and deadliest telepaths in marvel comics CASUALLY like a fodder is a and competent warlock raven can shoot laser from her eyes so hex won't work plus raven was full blown psionic in her 80s comics so she eould frie wanda's head. Going with stats feats and abilities raven scales sky high above wanda. Fun fact : wanda was always terrified of loki while an enraged raven one shot someone leagues above hela zero diffi....
