Some Satans actually despise athiest satanists and find them rather insulting, humiliating, and completely disrespectful. It’s very very annoying to try and make friends with people who worship ’the idea of you’ but hate the real you, just the same as the Christians they pretend to be better than, while making the same exact mistakes. The complete and utter state of toxicity that unfortunately has tainted and ruined modern satanism, has driven even some satans, who would have liked to be involved, and truly gave it their all, away from it entirely. Some satans WANTED to be satanists themselves in an attempt to bond and connect with humans, but found it long term not an option, and found humans insufferable and not worth the effort wasted on them. Some satans tried for months, but gave up because what the hell is the point of trying to talk to people who don’t even believe you exist and you can’t make them because you’re not physical and all they know is physical? Their love for us, is literally just as fake and selfish as the Love of Christians was upon them. They’ve become the very thing they sought refuge from. And I’ve given up on them. Satanism has literally nothing to do with satan at all anymore. Exactly like modern Christianity has nothing to do with Christ. It’s all just a bunch of political garbage now. It’s exhausting.

This is extremely short handed to what happened. Raven’s mother was abused by her mother’s father. The cult welcomed her in and made her feel accepted like a family. Azarath is the only one that is a place. From what I have heard Metrion was something Raven's mother called her, and Zinthos was the name of a pet bird she used to have. Her chant is just three random words that have a personal meaning to her.

Of course it's going to gloss over it. This isn't some third party/neutral perspective about what went down. This is Raven's biased point of view. Raven who is even younger than her mom was when she was groomed (aptly put) by the cult. Raven only sees a series of decisions (and, apparently, inherited bad decision making) that made her go through hell as a child. Not exactly a great foundation for nuance and understanding.

@aranha6285 She had a choice in that she could have just _not_ joined a Satan-worshipping cult in the first place. According to Raven, her mother also consented to sleeping with Trigon. As far as Raven (and by extension all of us) are concerned, she went along with all of this up until it the demon who came from the smoke showed that he was a demon. She's not exactly painted in a sympathetic light through her deeds, but instead in the disastrous consequences that followed.

Satan is known First of the Fallen in DC universe, he is a Fallen angel. Etrigan and Trigon are demons from hell, even being a different kind. Darkside is a new god from Fourth World, beings linked directly to the Source (one of the many manifestations of The Presence) and Hades is a god originated from the God Wave and inhabit the Netherworld, in the DC's multiverse, is not same that Hell.
