It's cool to see a person catching bass, and having fun. I see sooooo many "bass fisherman", using like 75 pound test line that almost yank the fishes head off, and hydroplane it back to the boat.😂😂😂

At the most if you are fishing for bass you should only be 15-30 lb test line idk why they use 74 pounds

Beautiful baby Timberback, I have hundreds of them out here where I live and some of them are really big, they seem to dominate the Diamond backs, because when I first moved to my property it was the Diamonds that prevailed, but since we had 3 hurricanes come over our heads in one season, the timbers came this way to escape the flooding and now the Diamonds are kinda rare now!!....Got fat Moccasins and Corals too, never a dull moment out here, I've gotten really good at scoping out where I walk, saved my ass about a dozen times now, but have lost two dogs to big vipers though!!

I can testify that Rattlesnakes will go in the river. I guided the section of the Nolichucky River that flows from Poplar NC to Erwin TN. Back in 78 I noticed a snake in the water that was heading towards my raft. When it was about 20' away I realized it was an Eastern Diamondback and we tried to steer it away but it kept coming. I whacked it with my paddle and that stunned it enough so that we were able to get away from it. That gorge is full of them...

Stay safe and watch your six when kneeing down. A pole with a 10-12 inch knife works well. Carry a shovel and bury the head. The head can bite for over an hour after separation so that is the reason to shovel the head into a hole. You will be surprised by how many fish will go after the rest of the snake. If you can ..., skin it first for fish bait. Did you say this was the first time for a rattlesnake? Enjoyed the video.

What I do when deciding on what size reel to use is which reel balances the best on the rod you are using

You should fish Indian creek in Claiborne county Tennessee. Real close to Powell river. Just curious to see how you’d do there!

First video I've watched on this channel. I have a question. Why stand so far from the water, and throw your fish? I always heard you release gently as to not bust the air bladder. Is that a fish tale?
