I use my exotics and regular cow for work and they last me ages conditioning or not. These boots are nice and the conditioner does help specially if the leather is rough. I got 2 pairs of snake both python but those things are nice and will last you a good while. Could compare to ostrich just like jose has mentioned. Quality is on point 👌

Just purchased my rattlesnakes 2 weeks ago, thanks for the advice im gonna do that before i use them

Lovely boots man. There is a distinct difference between Western & Eastern Diamondback. Those WDB look great! I have Nocona WDB and Old Gringo EDB. With proper care they can last a lifetime. The WDB scales are a little smaller and a bit more subdued in color compared to EDB...as they have larger scales and a more pronounced color pattern. I love both! Definitely a top pick in terms of exotic skins. In my small collection, I own Nocona Belly-Cut python, Nocona W Diamond Back, Old Gringo E diamond back, Stetson Deadeye Caiman, and a very old vintage pair of beautiful Dan Post Teju Lizard, in natural color that have aged to perfection.

for the one that has creases in your toes from wear get a nice oil and and boot tree,s and a polished deer bone online it will take all creases out

Those are some kick ass boots, do they come in snip toe, I have a pair of Tony Lama tiger snake 1987 I'd like to bring them back to life.

I got some about ten years ago and they still look new just a lik scuffed

They normally come conditioned from the manufacture.... But recently... They been a little dry... so im just telling my customers and friends to apply it....

I sprayed some of that conditioner on my boots and 1 is already coming apart... only had them for 1 month

Just got my pair of Dan Post Venoms and I love em! Will the conditioner get rid of a white crease made from bending my toes causing the snakeskin to rub against each other?

it shouldn't effect it... But the conditioner will help it from cracking for sure...

Pablo! How are you?? I never used saddle soap on any of my exotic boots... I only clear formulas like angelus or scout for my exotic skins... to make sure color doesn't change...

Do Rattlesnake skin boots run small?

I love your boots. I want to get a pair of rattlesnake snip toes but you guys are always out of stock?

Use baby oil.

Just a question, couldn't that be done prior to leaving the factory before getting to the customer?

they do it before they are shipped from the factory... However if they are in a box for a while they dry up a bit.. so it's good to condition them once in a while ...

Same thing for python ?

Can you do Real Cobra boots and print cobra boots

I used some of that Angelus on my caiman boots and ruined them.

What brand are these

Would Bickmore Exotic (cleaner & conditioner) spray also work? Or should I just stick with Angelus Reptile cleaner and conditioner? My rattlesnake boots are starting to Crack...

I never tried the bickmore .. I would just stick to scout and Angelus.. maybe I’ll try scout one day

I can vouch for Scout. Ive used it on Western diamondback, eastern diamondback, caiman, and teju lizard and it works very well. Its inexpensive, and a bottle will last a good while. U can even use it on the uppers.

You should be okay.. just make sure the Angelus has dried for about 30- 60 min

You can use shaving cream! Shaving cream that foams up and has lanolin in it. Will clean them too. That spray is nothing but lanolin.

Do snake boots last well? Been considering buying some from Yeehaw cowboy boots as a matter of fact. Just been kind of worried they'll fall apart after a few months or look not so nice after a short while. I'm pretty good about conditioning even my regular leather boots. But just wondering about snake. I may get some. I'm still up in the air about it. Look very nice though.

they are more durable than lizard boots if you have some... python is more durable then all the snakeskin boots i have .. and as longest you care for them and clean/condition/and protect them they will last a very long time...

No reptile is durable, none, no matter how much you condition it. Be it any snake, lizard or water reptile. It’s the nature of the leather it’s self. It doesn’t stretch like leather. The scales will eventually separate from the under lying membrane which cracks and splits. So save your money. The most durable exotic leather you can buy is OSTRICH.

what's better? spray or conditioner in a bottle? I'm getting some rattlesnake boots from Leon, Mexico and I have exotic leather conditioner in a bottle.

@@rsea910 yes most " american " brands make their boots in leon mexico however some use better quality materials .. for example some use pig skin in the lining which has little holes.. which make your feet smell and its thinner leather.. while other use cowhide which is higher quality and tougher.. A boot can look good in a picture but once you get it.. they might have took alot of short cuts..

@@westernshack and out of the sprays which is the best. or are they all about the same. I got bickmore exotic skin spray, and you mentioned two in your video. I actually got a pair of boots from a shop in Leon, Mexico and I had the problem of the skin cracking, i didn't have the spray at the time but now I do.. I had used the cream on it but I guess it didn't do a good enough job. so I'm getting a replacement pair shipped out. this time i'm gonna spray the heck out of it. I've always used Bickmore products but was wondering on those other two you mentioned.

@@westernshack that's true.. I've always bought Mexican made boots but never had problems with them with the exception of these recent rattlesnake. boots I got are from a boot store called botas el malcreado in Leon.

How often should you use the conditioner?

its the same... if it's different it will say it like... Cobra snake or snakeskin, python snake or python snakeskin " just have to be careful to make sure it's legit

to be honest they are done... they crack when they are conditioned as often as they should...

@@westernshack I've worn them for over 7years . And conditioned then . But they were my fathers over 30 years old. Only 2 small cracks , was just wonder how I could prevent any further cracking. Thanks
