Nice, very bold and provocative ! I have a pair my father in law gave me from Mexico, they look very similar to those. Although here in central California, the " acceptable " boot style is pretty traditional, so I definitely stand out when I wear them. My buddies call them my " Narco Boots " lol I love them though. Actually just today I received my Tecova's Snip Toe Python in their brick color. Still has the exotic look, but more subtle being the solid brick color. Anyways, you the man Jeremiah !

I missed out on the tecovas red brick pythons. I was gonna get a pair myself..

Just bought a pair a few days ago and I love them. I was a little surprised at the quality of the boots. I'm a Lucchese guy myself, I have 4 pairs of them and was debating whether to buy a pair of Dan Post boots. But so far very happy

Always wanted a python pair. Only had ostrich. But can’t beat the lined inside and leather insoles. But ya. Now I’m getting some python!

I've been looking at getting these and already have a pair of Dan Post Winslow boots. I've noticed that the boots with that heel style typically run a bit more narrow than the square toe boots.

Dan post usually fits me very well. Thanks guys.

I got me some of those,changed the insoles to the blue thinner Dr. Scholl's and I'm lovin em. Love the color too and when they get yellowish I love that look also. So I'm good LOL. Great review though.

Personally not so keen on really light coloured boots. I agree with Levi- you need a lot of confidence as they'd sure grab a lot of attention! Look very good on both of you though. Thanks for the video.

Hey Jeremiah! I saw your video on what to do when you first get boots. I have a pair of Double H Jase ICE Ropers that I use every day. I use them for work, daily wear, and dates. I have money saved up and I want to get these boots and I wasn’t sure if you had them or not. If you do have these Dan Post Python boots, how well are they holding up? Looking to go this weekend! Thank you for all of the video guides and reviews!

I have been eyeballing these lately and I feel for the price hard to beat to get into the exotic boot game.

Does Dan Post make El Dorado Hand Made Boots? I can’t find a lot of info on El Dorado.

idk if anyone can answer this but in your own opinions how durable is a typical python boot like a los alto or a mexican made boot for the sake of reference, i know it’s not the best when compared to other leathers but is it a boot you can walk a reasonable amount in or will it rip / get worn out easily if you wear it frequently and i’m not talking about the outsole i’m specifically focusing on the python skin uppers themselves, biggg thank yous to anyone with personal experience / anyone that has owned some for a while that can answer

Great video. I love snake skin boots . But in time they get a yellowish tint in colour . It is a natural aging process. But do you know anything to slow it from changing or stop it all together.

From what I've heard, it happens no matter what but keeping them clean and conditioned can help too. I have some things I want to test too so maybe I'll make a video about it in the future too. Thanks for watching John!

You can remove the "Soft Strike" insole and replace it with leather insoles. They sell them on Amazon.

If you wanted to be creative, could you buy a small sheet of hard leather at a leather supply store and trim it to match the existing removed foam insert? Wouldn't that effectively be the same thing? If it is cut at the correct size, it shouldn't move around inside the boot. If it does, could you glue it in if it feels right? Thanks. 😋

Very similar. Both are made in leon, MX and have a similar fit. I like the lining of the Los Altos better. It's just softer. Another difference is These Dan posts have a removable insole and the Los Altos have a non removable leather and foam insole. I like the Los Altos non removable insole better and I've had problems with the Dan Post soft strike insole in the past. Overall I like the Los Altos better but that's just me

Imagine how good they would look if the top of the python was on top instead of the bottom of the snake on the vamp.

They are built very similar but I'm not a huge fan of the removable soft strike insole. The soft foam and leather insole in the Los Altos feels much better to me so I prefer the Los Altos python over this Dan Post

Last question with the Los Altos I just can’t remember if you specified sizing I’m a 12 D in my sneakers sometimes 12 1/2 depending on the company what would you suggest for a size in the Los Altos they also make a square toe would you suggest the same size in the square toe versus the round toe?

My girlfriend watches your vids and said you both are "so adorable". She doesn't really even like cowboy boots. I told her she can't watch them anymore. Self preservation...

I have had snake skin but the snake skin peels off easy. That's why I don't like snake skin - only true leather.

Yeah no kidding Jessie, my wife says the same thing. She even said she wouldn't go with me if I was wearing these. Well that damn sure settles it, I'm getting a pair lol!! I think they are very good looking boots. The local Tractor Supply carries them too.
