autistic snail UwO unfortunately she is solitary. She was a rescue and I don’t know how old she is, but she never had any contact with other rats in her previous home. I’ve tried introducing her to all ages of rats and she gets really violent and stressed. I don’t want to have her injure or kill another rat, or make herself sick from the constant stress. I’ve kept rats in the past but I’ve never had one to fearful and mean to other rats before, so I made the hard decision to keep her on her own. She’s been doing a lot better tho now than when I first got her.

I loved rats forever, i had 3 and 1 died.. Rats are so cute I don't know why almost everyone hates them.... they're so friendly and cute awww my little rat was chubby and I miss her. :(

@@anaig9599 they have been isolated throughout generations to be properly domesticated and disease free, unlike street rats. Pet stores are pretty cruel but they aren't stupid enough to sell something that would kill their customers. My rats eat the best food, live in an awesome cage (cleaned on a weekly basis), get bathed and pretty much treated like royalty. Do your research before commenting something so fucking stupid on a video of a rat owner.

Lennie Mora females tend to be more active then males.. but it also depends on the rat itself. It might still slow down. Especially when the little rattie gets old

Winchester Production I can see she’s “acting her age” but she doesn’t want to. She wants to jump around but sometimes she can’t push herself up then falling 😣. I’m trying to help her but it’s sad seeing her get older.

I have been waiting one and half a month to get my 2 female rats. In two days it's time to go get them. I've been preparing, researching and doing diy stuff. I'm really excited.

Rats are so cute. Unfortunately I had to put my pet rat down a few days ago. I miss her. She was my best friend.

I really miss mine he had a breathing problems so we took him to the vets the vet gave use 2 options leave him to live but he will still have problems or put him down so I decided to put him down I cried alot that night I miss my little Scooby he's in a better place now

I took care of 2 rats for months when I was younger..they were so great! they never once bit me..I had couple hamsters for myself and got nipped sometimes!😣

I can understand it, I'm sure anyone could be 'conditioned' to be at least okay with them, but it's likely an innate primal fear as well, they do scurry around fast. And though we both know that 'fancy rat's' are fully domesticated and very rarely bite anyone and even if they do probably aren't going to spread disease due to their captivity...even so, the vast majority of humanity was literally 'plagued by rodents. So I understand the dislike. But I agree, to the point that they 'can' be beautiful, when in captivity...if I see a rat in the street though, I'm not going to go all gooey eyed, because it's a filthy disease infested pest.

Who could hate these guys?

I’ve got my little brother on board with getting rats, so now we have created a plan to convince our parents together. He’s gonna be all cute and say how much he wants them and a cool fact. I’ll show them all the research I’ve done on their behaviours and how to take care of them.

So hard to watch i just lost one of mine yesterday he was so important to me. Give all the love you have to them they really deserve it.

Before I used to think rats were ugly and nasty but this video changed my mind🤗😍.

When i was little, my girl "Patchy" was super snuggly, she'd come running to greet me at her door and I'd put her on my shoulder. We'd sit together at breakfast time and I'd pass her up Cheerios. She'd eat them like little doughnuts. Only one downfall with these cuties, they're too short lived.

i had 2 rats , they dont live long enough , got my heart broken with both of them in year 3 ......they are so smart even maybe more than a dog Minnie could go around everywere everytime since her cage was never close
