Same… I felt a little hope when we had Marshall and Jeffery… but then remembered we still had Cutler 😅 But THIS offensive personnel… paired with an o coordinator that made Gen Smith look as good as he did… this could be special. I want to see 4000 yards and 30+ air TDs maybe not expecting it year 1, but year 2 better be flirting with it or passing it!

Commanders have a whole new ownership group, coaching staff, 22+ free agents (most in NFL), and a BUNCH of new talent in the draft. MOST analysts are giving them an A or A+ for the draft, yet y'all give his situation a 6.5 n a 6. Y'all are almost unwatchable when it comes to my team. Really annoying. What's funny is... What will y'all say when we do have success?? I already know. They will be completely ignored like they're not even there. 😘

I’d agree with the sentiment about what has KOC really done. I personally don’t think he is a very good playcaller and should let his OC call plays so he can focus on being the HC (where he excels). But he is excellent at developing an offensive scheme and he has the personality to inspire his players. From the PA team rankings and from the interviews coming out, a lot of players want to play for him. And that is something telling.

One thing Florio is missing about the bears is that if the offense is amazing with Waldron they can just promote him to HC and fire flus. Flus is a lame duck unless Williams sucks and the defense carries Caleb. The bears hedged their bet on Caleb. GM and coaches might all get fired when the Falcons go 5-12 due to the terrible locker room morale infecting play on the field. Plus, Penix is almost 24, is ready to play, unlike Maye who needs a redshirt year, and almost certainly doesn’t want to sit 2-4 years (as per the ridiculous comment by the GM). It is a 1.

I remember last year when everyone was saying Bryce Young was going into the ideal situation for a QB with the offensive-minded coaching staff he had, and CJ Stroud was going into one of the worst situations. It would be funny if Drake Maye lights it up this year with a new head coach who comes from the Defensive side of the ball like CJ Stroud did last year, and JJ McCarthy looks awful if he sees the field. I wouldn't blame the situations for that. I would say Maye just simply has more raw talent than JJ McCarthy just like CJ Stroud had over Bryce Young.

The broncos 2023 season is not Sean Payton’s fault. He took a 5 win team and won 8 games. RW was sacked 45 times and 30 of them were 100% his fault behind a top 10 O line. That’s why they didn’t make the playoffs and why Russ is gone. Sean Payton took the job because of the new ownership allowing him to work the way he wants to and because he’s not a bitch who’s scared of Mahomes and Andy Reid. I swear national media doesn’t have a clue about any team, especially the Broncos.

The negativity is well deserved. The Cousins contract negates any benefit of having a QB on a rookie deal. Taking Penix in the top 10 also guarantees him much more financially than taking a QB later. Falcons have been historically bad at pressuring the QB and they passed on the best defensive player in the draft. Penix is also old, has a significant injury history and struggles with short and midrange passes. He doesn’t appear to be an elite QB prospect but he kind of has to be now. For context, Jordan Love was drafted in 2020 and is only a year and a half older than Penix if I am remembering correctly. The opportunity costs for the Falcons are significant. They also kind of reached on some of the players they took and are more developmental, like Ruke. They spent the entire off-season in win now mode then have a draft strategy of building for the future which is odd.
