the mustard suit actually represents peter getting the 7 chaos emeralds and becoming super spiderman

Best recolor is Red and Black Spider Punk cause it’s outright better than the original (plus the pinkish red with the black and grey is so good looking on Spider-Punk)

The darker classic suit variant was my main suit for most of the game. I just find the cherry red and navy blue more appealing than the orange-ish red and sky blue that they used for the default. Also, it would have been cool if for the white variant of the Spider-Punk suit they replaced the red accents with pink and made the shoes teal as a nod to Gwen.

11:33 these yellow greenish color variants of these suits make Spider-Man look dirty, like if he never washes his suit and rolled around in mud while taking a piss on himself. That's the kind of vibe I get from those suits, like an alternate universe dirty Spider-Man

The white Anti-Ock suit is actually fire, probably the suit I used the most besides the the normal story ones on Peter. I get how it could be criticized as bland, but to me the white on white is super clean and the simplicity works really well, especially with the sharp Rami style lenses

I wore the yellow advance 2.0 suit for the whole game. Not because I like the recolor, but because years ago I was walking with my friends through china town and saw a knockoff spiderman shirt where the whole thing including spiderman was yellow. The logo read: "Spiderman 2: Spiderman Spiderman". Ironically enough, this perfectly describes the game as well. Its spiderman 2 and you play as spiderman and spiderman.

As someone who lost his mind when Secret Wars: Civil was shown in the trailer, my smile never disappeared and I love it. Idk what it is about this suit but I just love the the take on it and the web wings. ALL MY VARIANTS GOT 5 STARS RAHHHH!!!

Honestly i love that they added suit colors because insomniac did the same thing for ratchet & clank: rift apart where you can change the color of your armor, but idk for some of these recolors i wish they had us as players make our own color choices for the spider-men suits

I have to say, sometimes a simple color swap should just be implemented here. The lines that were hidden as an off tone color didn’t need to be brought out for most of these suits.

The purple alt for the classic black suit was one of the few suits I had on my wish list prior to release, so it’s really nice to have it in the game. I’ve always preferred the black suit with purple shading, since it’s a nice compliment to the black and it almost gives the impression of spidey’s base red and blue colours getting mixed into one suit (if that makes sense idk how to explain it). Best suit in the game imo :)

As much as I love Spider-Man 2; it really expanded on some concerns that were raised from the DLC of the first game with their writing and some design choices. I really hope they go back to what they did so well in the first base game, they took their time and really made you feel like / relate to Peter Parker and care about the other characters. Old character design for Pete and MJ also had SO MUCH more emotion and character. PS4 Peter was literally the perfect representation of Peter Parker; the nicest guy ever who has all the power in the world but acts in the interest of everyone but himself all the time

The Purple Neon-Blue 2099 recolor reminds me of Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th NES game. They share the same color scheme and if you see the official NECA figure they confirmed this.

Actually been waiting for a vid like this. My only things it that they can overdesign a lot. Just a lot of lines kinda like the mcu suits. Or it’s just too busy in general. I wish they would make more simple and aesthetic suits if they are gonna make new ones kinda like How modders do it. Like there’s so much more detail in the smaller things but it doesn’t look crazy or anything. They do a amazing job making their own suits by themselves.

Before getting the symbiote suits, the first recolor of advanced 2.0 is my most played. Definitely fits the vibe of a more world weary Peter

The blue variant for the superior spiderman looks like the frickin Blue Beetle.

The superior OC recolor with the silver family business suit goes hard. I used that combo a lot on my play through. Also, the new blue suit isn’t a fantastic four inspired suit by itself? I always just assumed it was

how did you get the 3d things for each suit? Edit: there's a thing in photo mode that makes the background a curtain colour, by just going into premier pro you can edit out the back ground with ultra key

I used that fantastic 4 style New Blue Suit basically the whole game as soon as I unlocked it cause it just looked cool

The red and navy blue classic suit is so good. It looks black but it has dark blue highlights in it.

I’ve figured it out! The white log classic suit is a Web-man Web-man! It has the same shade of blue and red, just swapped. And then the spider logos are white to be opposite to the Web-man colors black logos!

Suit styles I would’ve liked to see: White and gray/white and black Arachknight as an homage to Moon Knight Black and red classic black suit as an homage to Randy Schueller’s original design Red and blue superior Spider-Man Scarlet Spider 1 but with a black hoodie with a red spider Advanced suit 1.0 or 2.0 but with black accents instead of white Black and red or red and blue anti-ock suit Secret Wars Civil War or whatever it’s called but in Falcon’s color scheme. MCU colors or comics colors, either would work Black and gold saving lives suit
