I think Dr. Montgomery ought to be the bestest guardian to the children, Josephine on the other hand is too cowardly. Both were killed by Count Olaf.

And the main reason why everyone loves her is because of the movie series. I feel confused why everyone loves a character that betrayed the Baudelaires and wondering if anyone even read the books

@@meisichan6712I personally have only read some of the books. I am very sorry to assume Olivia’s innocence. I am wholeheartedly a book-before-film person but in this case I didn’t have access to the books. This video is based on my opinion on the tv show characters. Hope that clears it up ❤❤

I don’t think Olivia Caliban was their guardian since they were on the lam, or maybe just not a legal guardian. But Uncle Monty was the best guardian. He actually cared for the children. Yet Olaf and Esme treated them badly, couldn’t help but make them my favourite characters (that’s including Carmelita, of course.)

aunt Josephine told count Olaf that she could hide and he could take the Baudelaires before he killed her

Are you sure that Fiona Widdershins is actually the Baudelaires guardian? I know that she was the guardian in the series, but I wouldn’t consider that 100% cannon. Mainly because of the ending of the Quagmires, Captain Widdershins not being their 11th guardian, and Olivia Caliban being a secret agent when at the 9th book we find out she was helping Count Olaf the whole entire time and betrayed them.

I have not read all of the books unfortunately. Therefore this video is based on my opinion of the characters in the Netflix tv show. I had no idea that Olivia was an antagonist in the books. Thank you for letting me know, I’ll be sure to take that into account next time ❤❤

Hell yes! Perfect list man, the person most compatible got the least time with them. The series giving her so much story though was amazing. I wouldve counted Justice Strauss for the Penultimate Peril but Dewey works too as hed been a great choice, as with any of the 3 snickets. I was about to say Jerome wouldve been better than Aunt Josephine but nah Aunt Josephine at least was strong in her past and if Jerome couldnt help the quagmires he couldnt keep the baudelaires safe for long himself
