Great questions but you did get the time period one wrong the author of the series claimed that there was no specific time frame and in the show violet references the 1930s meaning it can’t logically take place in the 1920s but overall this was fun

In addition, James Brown was referenced in The Bad Beginning. Violet: Klaus, what’s that thing James Brown said? Count Olaf: “I feel good”. That said song was released in 1964 as you all know.

Yeah, the whole point of the world the series takes place in is that it's no particular time or place. The main chraracter's names reflect that too- Violet being a fairly British name, Klaus being a German name, Sunny being an American name, and Olaf being a Scandinavian name.

I got most of the answers correct. It’s Fiona’s age, Klaus’s date of birth, and the story’s time period that stubbed me most.
