I used to have the original 1985 Ratar-O action figure as a kid

Splinter > Ratar-O every day of the week! And twice on Sunday

I really like some of these Thundercats villains. I just never watched the show as a kid, so I have zero connection to the universe. There weren't any reruns of the show because it ended right as I got old enough and nobody I knew watched it either- and they toy line was pretty much dead as TMNT and X-Men were taking over.

I believe that the effect pieces port into the eyes on the sais.

This is a good villain wave. After the first six waves were announced, Ratar-O and Mongor were my most wanted villains for future waves. To get them both in the same wave is very exciting. Wave seven is definitely a hit. My most wanted figure after these two was Hachiman and he's in wave eight so I was pleased with the choices made for these waves. I was pleased when they were announced but it will be even better when I actually receive them. I've been looking to replicate my LJN figure collection with the Super7 Ultimates, although it started with Mattel. There have also been a few additions along the way but it's very similar. Hachiman may have been one of the last LJN figures I got. The whole Samurai thing was super cool to me. I would have gotten Snarf if I didn't already have one for this collection because I do love Snarf. I have more than one of him but I just don't think you get the value with the Ultimates Snarf so I'm glad that I didn't need him. If I had then I probably would have caved and bought him, despite the price point not matching the actual item. Similarly, I will pass on Kit and Kat because I have Mattel and LJN versions.

@@KylePeterson1980 - Must be some costly cardboard or maybe sales are not where they are expected to be, so cutting even the smallest cost may be effective based on their numbers.

I love how his eyes are pointing in different directions on the alternate head, almost looks cross-eyed. Perhaps if Splinter slaps him, they will fall back into position. Ratar-O would have an advantage against Splinter but Splinter would find a way.

Were the head swaps difficult on this guy and on Mongor? With Ultimates, sometimes they are and sometimes they aren't. With Mon*Star pre-transformation and the recent Shredder, it was difficult but with the reptilians, not so much.

@@KylePeterson1980 I'm guessing that's the case with both and I'm also guessing that it's more of an issue when putting the heads on, as you usually have to push down.

This one looks NICE. Snarf was OK @ best. Heads on neck peg WAAAAAAY too loose...WAAAAAAAY overpriced...but u GOTTA have Snarf to complete the team 🤷🏾‍♂️

Super 7 is failing with the scales, that looks more like Ratilla cause is too big to be called Ratar-O
