Damon here, leaving my comments. I don’t remember Mongor at all, but then again, I wasn’t into ThunderCats nearly as much as I was into MotU. Only really remember a handful of episodes, namely the Trials and the ThunderCats Ho! movie. Great-looking figure though. I noticed some paint splotches on his main head, but otherwise he does look pretty gruesome and scary! And hey, I remember Filmation’s Ghostbusters too…Let’s go, Ghostbusters!

It’s a definite pick up for me. I can’t wait till mine arrives. He was one of my favorite villains in ThunderCats. Not sure why this line gets a bad wrap. I love the line. And I mean it’s ThunderCats for crying out loud.😂😂

It gets a bad wrap due to some really poor QC issues (pretty much limited to wave 2), very dated articulation/engineering (but keeping with the MOTUC line), and a price tag that's $25+ too much. I do really love me some ThunderCats; and this is literally the only option we got, so I'm really glad we're (still) getting something. I was for sure the line was gonna die off at around wave 5. So glad to see it still goin'...even with all the subpar elements.

I think Willa and snarf are in this wave also. Really stoked for them. We never got a willa in the vintage. and she was in a bunch of episodes.

Oh yeah, and Ratar-O. With Willa, I don't remember them at all. Unfortunately they don't look nearly as good as they could've; with those super slanted up eyes, and the waxy unpainted flesh tone plastic. But I'll definitely get them when the price comes down to $20. Funny with the name, 'cause my daughter's name is Willow, but my father has a hard time saying it, so always says Willa...just like this character.

The longer your hair gets, the better it looks. You definitely wore the right t-shirt for this review (Baphomet). Mongor didn't get his wings like Clarence did. He must have been naughty over Christmas.

Mongor! That's my guy right there. One of my most wanted and one of my favourite characters. He only appeared once but what a great villain. Definitely a creature from hell. He is like Baphomet. Definitely a heavy metal figure. Remember Phil from Hercules? That's Mongor's idiot brother. Really good artwork on the box too. He can even roll his eyes into the back of his head like The Undertaker. He's also very toyetic. I knew he'd make a good figure and that's why I wanted him. I was calling for him from the very beginning.

That moline on the bottom park of the beard looks sloppy. I hope mine looks a bit better.

The figure just looks cheap. It doesn't look like a premium quality figure. Like compare the product pics to I'm hand. It's like a huge step down.

@KylePeterson1980 no. There's literally product shots on bbts. They aren't digital renders they are of the figure. They photoshoped backgrounds in but it's product shots of the actual figure. Actually some shots are just of the figure on a dio with good lighting....

Too bad you got that giant yellow spotch of paint on the eye brow.
