19:55 OH MY GOD that random tea Zach dropped about the Amazing Race...I understand the logic that the un-named participant was partnered with Eugene since he wanted to win, but the fact that Zach and Keith were chosen (even though they were trying to throw), AND they both turned it down so the un-named guy wouldn't be so salty about it...GOD they gave in and gave up so much for that guy, didn't they? =(

Also, what a man child, you're so sad about a reality show that you don't want your friends to do it because you can't?
The one that always gets me is when Jon Lovitz finally tells his family about the money and he says "two million dollars! That's a lifetime supply of hummus!"
I would have loved to watch Keith and Zach on the Amazing Race! They'd be playing to have fun, not to win and that would be way more entertaining!!
Starting a Tumblr for a girl he had a crush one further elevates Zach's lesbian status. 😍😍😍😍
not n*d throwing a hissy fit because he didn't get picked for american race and stopping zach and keith from participating in the process 😤
OMG ZACK’S AMAZING RACE STORY & FUCKING GARRET’s COMMENT AT 21:35!!! it was *not* returned
Honesly y’all. I was just sitting here in a paralysis spiral thinking of all the cleaning I need to do. This episode popped up and knowing I could listen as i clean gave me the motivation to get up. Thanks ❤

lol. Underappreciated classic
YOU SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT A SQUIRREL is something that can still conjure the giggles in my family
I am personally thrilled that you are covering this movie. I constantly quote "Did I win??" and "I'M PRAIRE DOGGIN IT!" The movie is also why I will absolutely never get my tongue pierced.
I worked on the scene from "Rat Race" as Hot Air Balloon visitors when the two brothers (Seth Green & Vince Vieluf) scene with the balloon cow scene. Very fun film to work on.
For the longest time I though this movie was some weird dream I had as a kid until it was put on Netflix a while ago and my brain was like 🤔🤔🤔
This was one of the only movies we had at my family cabin on vhs. I watched this over and over and over as a kid! Never expected you guys to talk about this movie haha it’s a classic for sure!

It was one of those adult movies my parents let me watch and we had it on all the time 😂 I always feel like it’s such a deep cut when I bring it up to people
It would have been so fun to watch Zach and Keith on amazing race 😂

They would have. What's his name ruining stuff for them.
Also Just Friends would be a great watch/discussion. I remembered it fondly, rewatched it recently. Got to the end and was just flabbergasted at how mixed it made me feel. Some great moments, but also some very of-their-time jokes.
I saw this in middle school and have been hyping it for decades and no one has heard of it. This episode makes me feel seen lol.
What amazing timing I literally just met Breckin Meyer last week, and I told him my one of my favorite movies growing up was Rat Race 😂
Oh god that movie! I've legit HURT myself laughing at so many scenes.. The two dumb brother's antics, the 'cool sexy chick' going psycho demonic with her helicopter, the ludicrous neonazi rally situation.. Good times!
My parents made me and my sister watch Rat Race when we were kids. It was the best family movie night ever. We rewatch it every now and then because it's so funny! 🤣
Zach and keith vs Ned and Alex amazing race where everyone can't play with anyone's genitalia.
I literally could not click on this video fast enough. This is My jam!!!!
RAT RACE IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE FILMS IM SO PLEASED YOUVE CHOSEN THIS MASTERPIECE ❤
I first watched rat race in like 2015 but it still holds a special place in my heart bc I died laughing the first time I watched it, and it managed to cheer me up when I was feeling super not bueno
I watched this movie and I was born in 97! Love Raine, but she is not a representation of us Zillenials lol. I love love this movie. I must've had it on DVD cause I watched it so many times with my sisters and parents. Not sure it ages well but it was def top 10 movies between 2005-2010 for me.

Also born in 97 with the same experience haha. I think my older sister and parents loved it so much it was just always on.
I have no memory of having ever seen this film in it's entirety - don't recognize the name or the poster.....but certain scenes they were talking about were suddenly jumping out in my mind. What the hell, haha.
I'm so glad you watched and loved Rat Race. I have watched this so many times. Star-studded cast but hardly anyone talks about it.
I love this movie! It’s that era of American Pie, Eurotrip, Road Trip. My favorite era.
Watched this *several* times back in the day because it’s SO FUN. Love that you guys are giving it the credit it deserves
The only part of the film that missed was the final scene at the concert. It felt like the ending was a last second decision to finish the film.
Why don't more people know this movie omg? 😂 it's sooo good
Rat Race is one of my family’s favorite movies! We watch it all the time and it’s just so fun!
Some other “of their times” comedies that could be good fits for this show: - The Hot Chick - White Chicks - Scary Movie 2 or 3 - Final Destination 2 or 3 - 50 First Dates (or any earlier Adam Sandler movie really)
Omg if you love Rowan Atkinson(mr bean), I NEED y’all to cover Johnny English. Literally that movie raised me and it’s hilarious to this day
Absolutely no way 😂 saw a VHS of rat race this weekend and it threw me back to my childhood 😂
OMFG THIS MOVIE. It was a VHS that we wore the F out on road trips in my childhood (LOL the same when we got the DVD). The epitome of madcap slapstick movies for the modern audience.
I think this is a movie that people accidentally watch because I had seen this movie in like 2009 at a family bbq. This movie has stuck with me all these years because of how buckwild it is (from my foggy memory)! The cow scene is so iconic in my mind 😂
If you liked Rat Race you’ll LOVE Scavenger Hunt 1979. its a race to get a list of items, and whoever wins inherits the fortune of a dead billionaire, but everything needs to be stolen. Also Vincent Price is in it and everything he’s in is gold.
My parents were so bad about censoring adult movies from me as a child, and Rat Race and Best in Show were two movies that the whole family constantly had on the tv
This movie is on my staff picks shelf at work! I love this movie!
You guys need to do Joe Dirt! Rat Race and Joe Dirt always occupy the same space in my mind because they came out around the same time. The mullet is iconic.
okay this movie was one of the only DVDs that my afterschool program had for years when i was growing up, and no one ive ever met outside that program had ever heard of it....just so you know, some people know it!!! i couldn't say a single thing about the plot except i have intensely vivid memories of watching it :) love you guys!
I 100% watched this movie at least 10 times as a kid but I don't remember anything
I need people to understand what a MOMENT it was when this movie came out!! Those other movies like Valentine's Day & New Year's Eve could never...😂😂

They need to do an episode on Shrek
So glad you’re covering this iconic film 🤗
I’ve been WAITING for this episode-I’ve loved Rat Race since I was a kid. Rewatching it every couple years makes me appreciate it more and more (*aside from yeno the dated things). Thank Y’ALL. Also the thumbnail says 99 even though the title says 101 hah.

One of my earliest memories is from a family gathering at my house and we popped in the Rat Race DVD-and my toddler cousins just all plopped themselves down in front of the TV and awed. The physical comedy of this movie was that powerful.
I love this movie!! So surprised that you guys were covering it!
Please watch Accepted (2006). So nostalgic for me and I recently rewatched… didn’t stand up to the test of time lol
1:00:23 I mean I have been mishearing "guilty whores" as "guilty *horses* " so yeah I think you really should make that as a merch 😂🤣🙈
You should do “The Mask of Zorro”. Such a classic but yet such a guilty pleasure
Fun fact: some stations in Canada that play older movies, play a disclaimer if there’s tone deaf or offensive jokes from the past
I often saw John Mayer in the 90's at small venues in Atlanta. He was a very talented, nice young man who played his own music and worked with other artists in their shows. I don't think he was really prepared for the otherworldly effects of Hollywood. He was his music, not set for having his life judged and aired with the bias of media.
LOL i thought Rat Race was so much older than 2004. Im happy you three are at the perfect age for discussing this movie!
Nice to hear y’all discuss this underrated gem. They could’ve made a sequel with different ensemble cast. But probably too late
I love this movie! I quoted this movie a lot especially when I was a teenager when it first came out. Thank you for talking about this movie!
i need you guys to do a step up month where you watch all 5 of the step up movies they are the definition of guilty pleasure movies for me 🥰
Very funny that they talk at the start about how no one else seems to know this movie outside the three of them while this may be the only movie they have talked about that I HAVE seen.
Loved it. I'm with you folks.
I looked up Keith, yep Zach and him are exactly the types they would pick for Amazing Race, to a tee. Now getting to the movie, Rat Race is definitely a guilty pleasure because this is the type of film you go to when nothing else is on and just have it playing in the background.

@@rayb401 Yep I found about this pod before I knew who The Try Guys were. I actually think that scandal they had got my attention and somehow this podcsst came up.
I literally just referenced this movie yesterday. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one that remembers this!
This makes me feel seen. I also thought that only I saw this movie and I loved it.
Vince Vieluf is in another kind of guilty pleaser movie that my siblings and I used to love called Grind. He's hysterical! The movie isn't great but it's the kind you'll quote forever
Rat Race is one of the funniest movies ever, it blows my mind how little it's talked about today
Ok but the way I paused the podcast to listen to all star when you guys started talking about it 😂
Every movie made from 2000-2003 featured All Star and/or Kids in America. The Digimon movie had both 😂 Shrek, Jimmy Nuetron. So many random movies had these songs
Wow, I thought my family were the only ones that new of Rat Race!! Used to watch it on VHS allll the time. Such a classic!!
My mom and I used to watch Rat Race when I was a kid! I love this movie!
i also need for you guys to do stick it!!
You guys have to watch Tammy and the TRex!!!!!
My favorite movie ever! I'm surprised they didn't bring up the cop wiping his window after the paraie dog scene
Yeeeessss I'm so happy! My brother and I watched this movie all the time growing up! I've never met someone who's seen it!
if yall do another TUCCI MONTH, the movie Robots with stanley tucci is a bop
LOVED this movie for years in the early 2000's and this brought back so many happy memories! A total P for me!
This movie is so freaking good. We have it on DVD and pull it out when we're needing a good laugh. Tbh anything with Rowan Atkinson and John Cleese in it will always be a winner.
So now that we’ve established that you guys aren’t opposed to doing outdated comedies, when are we getting a “White Chicks” episode?
Sequoia should have responded to the @sshole who went up to her and asked if she knew any My Chemical Romance songs with "I Know What They Do to Guys Like You in Prison" and just walked away. I know one word is changed in my response, but it would have shut the dude up for sure.
Emily D Baker did amazing work covering the Alex Murdauch case
Mr. Bean is just the clean version of Benny Hill
rat race is one of my favourite movies!! so excited
This movie is a pleasure, it doesn't need "forgiveness" but I understand they always need to be cautions to to what they put out there
Miles still hasnt superglued the mic to the stand yet huh? Edit: thanks for helping me realise my brain has superimposed Keith onto the guy in hangover, i cant remember what the actor actually looks like now, its just Keith in my head
I loved this movie. I still have my DVD of it.
one of my fave movies! saw this in the theater!
I'm a little late but if you guys want more of Vince Vieluf's comedy, a guilty pleasure movie he's in is Grind. It's a skateboarding movie starring Mike Vogel and Adam Brody with cameos from most major skaters, it's comedy quote gold.
I wanna recommend that you guys watch Mr. Hollands Opus for the pod!!
extremely random suggestions: Ernest Goes To Camp, The Neverending Story holy shit, the memories that unlocked even reading this video title. I'm glad I can just listen to this instead of being disappointed by the extremely aged jokes 😅
k i love this movie sm, but kelsey is so right! the first time i watched it was with a guy i liked and he was quoting it the whole time 😂
"It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" had more stars in one film in the history of film. The premise of the film was that a thief that hid money under a big W crashed escaping from the police and drivers that come upon the crash before the cops are told about the Big W by the thief. The In & Out original owners loved this film and put palm trees crossed like the big w at their restaurants and their cups etc. The Big W was Palm Trees crossed each other to make a W.
I always thought Rat Race was a remake of Cannonball Run, not the older film they mentioned. Learn something new everyday
Guysssssssssss please do Rush Hour next 😂🙏🏼🔥 classic!!!!!
I looooove rat race! Such a fun movie!
Sooo wild that this movie isn’t known by the youngins these days 😭😭 this truly holds up and has remained one of my favorite movies of all time since it came out! - edit: ahhh yes halfway through and was just reminded of the guilts and yeahhh ok there are definitely parts that don’t hold up today but the great bits are great! And the bad bits are def lazy and punching down
OMG, Rat Race....Zach, I'm like you....I felt like I was the only person in my life who knew about this movie :P This and "The Whole Nine Yards" were the first DVDs I ever bought for myself in high school. I had never seen either movie, so I literally read the blurb on the back to decide if I wanted to buy these at my local Sears :P
Growing up, I also thought I was the only one in the world who watched this movie or even knew about it 😂
Rat Race is honestly how I know of Mr. Bean as a character. LOVE this episode!
KELSEY I HAVE THOSE DOCS AND THEY’RE THE BEST
You guys have to do SPACE BALLS
This movie 🙌
Love Breckin Meyer and Seth Green. Should do the classic Can’t Hardly Wait.
