@@dcmj3798No Rassie is an exception. He can stick around until he becomes the enemy especially if the Boks go back to back. Even if things go awry he’s most likely to strategize us out of any muck. I trust him most with the player turnover and rebuild that we will have to undergo now after this WC. And as far as SA history and politics he’s a natural fit and manager of those complexities because he has demonstrated he’s a willing advocate of transformation, not an arrogant obstructionist who provokes government officials to get antsy and vocal. He ticks so many boxes. SA Rugby *must* keep him at any cost.

He went about it wrongly (how does one do it correctly?) but I mam of the firm belief that he did it for the good of the game as a whole. Consistency gives all the coaches and players (regardless of the teams) confidence that their preparation won't be sullied by bullshit officiating. The man lives and loves the sport of rugby and wants it to be the best version of what it can be - although that doesn't mean he is a Saint either - until the rules _are_ changed for the better, he will use every loophole to SA's advantage.

Before SA gets in the comments and says you're going to smash us. We all know you're clear favourites. But we still have hope and are looking forward to the game. But the English did that too themselves, Eddie knew how to make England tick at the right time. Funny enough Eddie had the same pattern of result prior to the 2019 RWC look at what he did then by shocking New Zealand in the semis. The English need to understand one thing the years between world cups are for building and sharpen your tools yes you are supposed to experiment. I remember when Eddie lost a series in South Africa prior to the 2019 the English talked about firing him then, and it was almost certain he would be out after the world cup, he gets England to a final the tone changes. I am pretty sure England would have been a better team than it is right now

Great press conference Rassie, you are a credit to your nation and your team is a great team that exemplifies what rugby is all about, but as a long time rugby fan and a proud Englishman, I have to disagree with the people that say the final is all about SA and the all blacks, 2 great teams but NOT unbeatable, i don't know who will win on Sat my beloved england or SA but a great englishman once said: lost causes are the only things worth fighting for.., come on England prove them all wrong I will and our country will be proud of you no matter what happens, love and respect to SA, All blacks and Argentina and may the best team win

Tactically we outplayed the French in that second half, they had the advantage and didn't hurt us as much as they should have. They made very crucial mistakes in the second half, the pressure got to them big time. The scrum in our own 22, for me that was a stroke of genius, the charge down really made a huge difference considering the final score. I know England will be tough, but the psychological side of the game I feel will break them. It will be a good game no doubt. I also feel people shouldn't underestimate the Argentina team, they are really a dark horse for me.
