I honestly thought people only raised minks for their fur, I didn't know you could use them to hunt.

I like that she asks questions and compliments herself on her good eyesight. Mink Princess and her Rascal!

I love how you are training your girls. I've never skinned an animal in my entire life. She's not even squeamish. Kudos to you.

I skinned one many years ago. They have a lot of fat under the skin, but the fur is very soft.

You are one of the rarest fathers left alive on this planet and you have a different set of skill with good amount of tolerance and peace of mind to teach your children

Joe you and Maggie are doing a wonderful job teaching your girls life skills. I wish my girls has an awesome dad but I do my best to ensure they are not missing out. My nieces at her age would never step outside, just on their phones and computers all day.

I know a guy who did it, and he says mink are ridiculously efficient at catching prairie dogs. I don't have any towns near me, so I haven't tried.

I took them to parks and hiking as often as I could at the nature reserves near our home, and they came to love the Western states as much as I did through our vaations to Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, New Mexicon, Arizona, and Utah.
