Don’t think to hard about how Rascal Flatts got their name, it was pretty much handed to them kinda randomly. When they started and where playing at bars and small venues, they were playing at the Fiddle & Steel Guitar Bar in Nashville and they didn’t have a name yet and they were just about to drop their first single. So after their show a guy from the crowd came up to the trio and to them that he was part of a band in the 60s called Rascal Flatts, and he swore that Gary, Jay, and Joe Don sounded like his band from the 60s. So he said they were free to use the name if they wanted to and it stuck.

Rascal Flatts did a lot for a children’s hospital in Nashville. My son was born extremely early at that hospital, when they were releasing this song. Someone came to me from there team asking if they could get footage of me and my son to raise awareness. We were showed together at the part where he says when it finds us to small. My son was 1 pound 14 oz. They had so many children and families fighting for life and they would come and visit and cheer people up and help raise awareness and money for these families. They are the real deal! My little fellow is about to turn 14, and this song takes me right back there!!

I still sing this to my “baby “. And at that moment I felt like God was saying the same thing to me. That He was wouldn’t let me go, in the hard and good moments of life!

I hope you guys do some upbeat music from rascal Flatts because they have some great songs that can get you having a good time as well as the deep sentimental ones

This is my favorite of their songs. Its so inspiring to b a better person. His voice is beautiful. I send this song to my sister often to remind her thatvshe can lean on me. She has battled stage 4 csncer and praise the Lord she is in remission but side effects from chemo still linger. She is my hero and i want to b there for her always.

To me, Morgan wallen is not even close to as Good Is Rascal Flatts. I feel more connected with the lyrics of Rascal Flatts. And I grew up on grew up on Rascal Flatts so I'm biased but no one will be able to change my mind 😂
