This made me cry! Remembering my daddy, lost him when I was 15, and my oldest son 5yrs later. I still miss them so much. Mom passed last year. It's been a while since I've cried even though they're never far from my mind.

It’s the same family from the “what hurts the most” video, which makes it so much harder for me. Great reaction as usual!

I can’t believe I never noticed that over a decade ago lol

Lost my daddy a month ago to a heart attack.He fell over dead.My kids and I found him.He passed away while we were on the phone.I’m so broken and depressed.

When this song came out, it was obviously a breakup song. Then, I saw the video. It really makes you look at things from several different perspectives. Rascal Flatts has another song called What Hurts the Most that has a good video with it.

“What Hurts The Most” is the first half of this story. The little boy is the baby the teen girl was pregnant with in that video. This is meant to be the same family from that video.

I absolutely love Rascal Flatts! I think I’ve seen them in concert 1O times! They have so many great songs.

The fact that this song brings out your feelings means you have a good heart. I lost my son when he was days away from being four months old. He would have been 33 now. I lost my daughter when she was 23. She died on the 4th of July, exactly one month before his 1st birthday. I lost my father, sister, brother and the most recent was my mother. This song, helps me cry for my lost loved ones because I rarely do it. But I was told that the price of loving someone is going to be grieving them when they go. So I had a deep love for all of them and I pay for it.

Thank you for reacting to this song. I have always loved (and cried at) this song. The first time I heard it was watching the video, so I have always connected the lyrics with losing someone. This song is the conclusion to what hurts the most. Her son died a bit ago, now her dad died her son is taking her dad to heaven.

I have seen this video so many times and I still cry every time. I lost a newborn baby when he was 9 hours old, so this video hits me hard every time. Love it.

Dude you need to do 'Why' by Rascal Flatts. It DEFINITELY WILL get your allergies goin, but the video is a message that needs to be heard, especially these days.

You said you couldn't imagine losing someone that you love. I have a small family and between 2007-2016 we lost five family members....separate deaths...2007, 2008, 2010, 2014 and 2016. And I'm terminally ill...57 years old. When my dad died in 2008, it broke me...I was Daddy's little girl. We knew he would die but that didn't make it easier. I called my best friend since kindergarten...she had lost her mom many years before Dad died and she was as close to her mom as I was to Dad. I asked her how do I live in a world without him....couldn't even think straight because I broke. The advice she told me is something I pass on to as many people as I can because she was right and it applies to many things that happen. She told me that people will say that you take it one day at a time but they wrong. You take it moment by moment...all you have to do is to get through this moment right now...that's it. I had a hard time breaking life down to a moment but I did and that was the only way I could get out of bed...his death, my other family members, raped, diagnosed with a progressive degenerative brain disease with no treatment and no cure...I just get through one moment and those turn into days, months, years. If this helps one person all I ask is that you pass it on because she was right. For you, I hate that one day it will happen to you but I hope that you'll remember this advice she gave me and I'm paying it forward to anyone who reads this. 💞

Expected a break up video, instead we got a rip your heart apart video. Each time I watch the video I notice more sad stuff I did not catch.

This one is so underrated for “what hurts the most.” But this is my favorite of their heartbreakers. Just listening on the radio it’s a normal yet powerful break up. But then the video did more.
