    Love this video so much; I currently have several pots of lithops from seeds that I am growing. I hope they survive to the 18 mos stage like yours! at 3 mos they are so cute and already showing the red tint shades. Such a fascinating plant. I've only discovered the wonderful world of succulents 3 months ago and now I am just smitten!! Thank you for sharing your knowledge. God Bless from a viewer from Texas.

    And thank you for the comment. I have been working with James Lucas for a few years, and he is very enthusiastic to spread his knowledge. We are doing longer videos now, and this may not suit some viewers, or even the you tube algorithm, however we are finding many enthusiasts are tuning in. This gives us the will to take things further. We have a video on Adromischus coming up and hopefully a primer on succulent potting mixes and fertilisers. So a big hello to all in France, stay safe and have a great 2021.

    Hello Lucas, it is fascinating when you go down the track of genetics, Mr Shimada was doing both hybridisation and line breeding. He did this for many years with amazing results. Not many people are as dedicated as he was.

    WOW. Thanks for sharing. Is it very labor intensive keeping track of the watering for so many individuals? Or does the infrequency make it manageable?

  • @johnnyAGardening

    @johnnyAGardening

    3 жыл бұрын

    The infrequency of needing to water the Lithops does indeed make it easier. Although some species will do better with different watering. We are working on a more in depth video on these at present. Long term project.....
