Hi Angie!!! So nice to e-meet you!!! You're going to look beautiful in Mesmerized!!! Her colour applications and layers are STUNNING, and she's quite comfortable!! If you're looking for a wig for summer that isn't so hot, another one I can recommend is Simmer Elite (hand-tied). She's shorter than this one, so not sure if that's your vibe (maybe you love the longer wigs more??) but wanted to mention Simmer Elite incase you haven't looked into her yet =) She's got those gorgeous waves to her, and she's SUPER light. I live in Toronto where it gets really humid during the summer, and I sweat buckets LOL, but I find with Simmer Elite, she doesn't bother me at the back in the heat ☺ Hope this helps! What would be a nice color to choose if one has a olive complexion that would still show off a nice lace front?

That's the color I do my own hair. It blends well as it grows but at some point I will have to do something about my thinning hair. Is this your favorite brand? Have you ever tried Godiva's Secret Wigs?

What do the sides look like? What does the back look like? From the side views and rear views, what are the colors like? Are the colors chunky to the eye, or more subtle, when viewed from 2-3 feet away?

Hi Steph. I have a question. With the Music wig by Ellen Wille, is light bernstien rooted a warm color or cool color wig? I' really like the music one and I am trying to find a light volor that will work with cool tone skin but I'm not aiming for a really blonde color. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you Steph for your time and expertise. I think the Chocolate Mix would wash me out. When I look at your skin, it reminds me of someone who is on the porcelain side of color where as my skin would be considered light. By the way, that Shaded Sand wig color looks perfect on you. Wish I could be daring enough to do that but maybe one day. I need to go with a very light brown mixed with dark blonde and a hint of strawberry blonde. That use to be my natural color. You do such a wonderful job teaching beginning wig wearers how to make sense of an overwhelming industry. When it comes to caps and colors, it can get complicated. I have alopecia along my hairline and my hair is getting real thin due to hormones. I'm probably your mom's age! Anyway, I'll do my best to navigate this color selection. Thank you, Charlotte! Shaded Sand leans neutral/warm Vs Shaded Biscuit which leans neutral/cool. I would say the Shaded Sand base color is the warm, and then because of the cooler platinum throughout, it gives a balance, making it lean neutral. There’s no ash. Its because of this touch of warmth that I will love it for the summer time when my own skin tone is a little more bronzed. It’s truly a beautiful blend 😊 I hope this helps!!

Absolutely! Applying concealer is definitely something you can use to try to hide it. In my case, it is as simple as making sure I don’t have makeup on underneath when applying it. But for the video, I was wearing makeup, and then putting lace overtop sometimes will show the lace, so that’s my bad. It happens 💁🏼‍♀️

You could buy your favourite colour without the roots and then use a lighter eyeshadow to brush in the root colour of your choice.

Is shaded wheat a cool tone or warm. I have a hard time figuring this out. I am definitely a cool tone. Looking for a light colored wig. That wig was really pretty on you. Great color for you.

Alessandra by Jon Renau is also shorter, but still considered a medium length wig, with layers, similar to this one

Yes it definitely is! I would say it’s neutral, leaning warm. Just a really beautiful blend

in my experience, wearing long wigs, even if the fit is good, will often slide back over time because of the extra weight of the longer hair. My suggestion is to wear a wig grip for your wedding, just to be on the safe side.

Hi Steph it’s a beautiful wig, well made, great on a bald head and it was my choice for my birthday! I chose this colour Shaded Sand because of you and when I received it was a terrible colour and I can’t wear it! It is nothing like you are showing and so disappointed being the only expensive wig for my birthday I could have! It’s very dark absolutely not this colour, like a dirty sand and it’s huge and too big on my circumference 21.5? Anyways you are very sweet but just thought you should know my experience and can’t return it! It’s a shame, I’m very upset….

Hi Steph I ordered from Wig Studio 1 and it was sent to my girlfriend in Texas! I was trying to save on shipping because I read shipping to Canada was insane!! So I can’t return…so sad no one doesn’t want to even buy her even at a cheap price… taking a bath…it’s so sad. I’m stuck with this awful colour. Anyways I learnt the hard way! But your reviews are heartfelt & I enjoyed your reviews! I don’t believe everything I see I’ll have to watch many reviews. Have a great Christmas thanks for your response

I don’t like the dark root on shaded biscuit either. I’m a natural blonde and it looks too stark against my skin color and eyebrows.

Thank you for the nice review....the only missing for me was that I would have loved to see more of the back and sides of the wig more.....it was just a brief view of the back of wig which was not helpful.

​@@WigsWithSteph Thank you, same as me. I have been worried that 11" is abnormally small for an adult... my head feels somewhat flat in the back.... but looking at your head size-- it looks looks totally fine Also, are you aware of a style exactly like this-- but even longer ?

I bought this one and mine appears to have twice as much hair as your does😆 that's not good. It looks like a hay stack on my head. I have thick bio hair but smoothed it down Guess all of these are different tho. Im afraid to mess with it much for fear they won't take it back

Sorry you feel this way, but this is not what the video is about. To just sit here and talk about this would waste people’s time who came here to learn about this wig.
