I have to thank you for your comment on the other video, regarding synthetic wigs that arent heat friendly. It saved my wigs by doing the steamer. I never would have thought. It's amazing and now my daily wear wigs are lasting so much longer and I am saving the money from throwing them out. Best wig advice I ever received!❤❤❤❤

Didn't see the video where Amanda commented about steaming non-heat friendly wigs, so do you just direct the steamer as you are combing it out? I'm new to wigs and was very shocked to see how quickly they start looking bad. I would so appreciate knowing what Amanda's advice was about using a steamer on them. Thanks!

@@robina.5614 Hi Robina Just search on her channel"how to steam a synthetic wig", but yeas, you use a clothes steamer and a cat tail comb. First brush all the fibers out and then comb through small portions of hair as you follow down the hair with the steamer and do each section until you are satisfied. I didn't explain it great, I know, but she has a great video on how to do it. Good luck!

Hi Amanda 😃- I do love it! I was born and raised in Alberta (I miss it so much - moved away from there in 2011 - I mostly miss the mountains. Thank you for taking us on a brief trip with you, and I totally get not taking your phone out at your son's hockey game - I can barely take my camera out to take photos (I am so self-conscious. But, back to "Dress Rehearsal" - that cap looks so comfortable - Wow! I have this many, many times and I will keep saying it - but you seriously look amazing in anything that you put on. Have a lovely rest of your night! ❤❤❤

I did the exact same thing with my stroke of genius. It has this weird contour in the front and it has that super light blonde in the front which I actually do like, but when I wore it today and I had done self tanning and even on my face, it was so obvious so then I wanted it to come and swoop down across my forehead and so I’m going to have to redo the whole thing for the summer.

I’m really worried that my belle tress Genova will tangle and clump up. And how long will the lace front will last. My Ellen Wille lasted only 2 washes. Not happy about the lasting of Lace fronts. Is there something you can use on them right away? TY for teaching me so much between synthetic and Heat friendly wigs which so confused me in the beginning. But this is the beginning Lol. The amount of education is so needed. Thanks again! Sharon❤😊

Honestly, the only thing I've found that works is lightly brushing eyeshadow and sometimes my foundation (your choice color, I do a dark brown eye shadow for my shaded biscuit ) directly on the cap right under where the highlights are It gives it a root look and blends in with my makeup. But like you.... The roots drive me crazy! My eyes go right to them😩

ooooh it's a toss up. As much as I love Raquel Welch, I also don't because they are so perfect, especially when they have rooted blondes and pull a blonde money piece forward. Something about it doesn't quite look right. But I do like Raquel Welch's smaller knotting. I have often had good luck with Estetica lace fronts! I like Belle Tress's on their hand tied caps. but they often do the same money piece thing that Raquel Welch does.. It often depends on the color, since you will almost always see the knots on a dark color.
