They weren't meant to be played back to back by the band. Jimmy Page did not like Living Loving Maid and never played it live. The two songs being played back to back was an American DJ thing. Not intended by the band.

Criminally underrated here, as on many Led Zeppelin tracks, is John Paul Jones' bass. Not only does he provide the solid floor for the rest of the band to play on, he's part of the interlocking call and response with Jimmy Page's guitar. And he's a damn good keyboard player on top of it.

They are, and its not even opinion, all the best bands after looked up to Zeppelin, especially John Bonham. Been my favorite band since the early 2000s and I was born in the 90s, my dad always played 80s rock and metal, but my older brother broke outta that after his screamo faze and got into The Who, TJHE, Deep Purple, Cream, and once he found Zeppelin, he fell in love, and I was always with him so I loved all those bands then once hearing Zeppelin I too fell in love.

The singer you keep raving about is Robert Plant he's considered one of the greatest vocalist of all time. The guitarist you're raving about is Jimmy Page. He's considered one of the greatest guitarists of all time. And his entire recorded career, this song is the only in studio time where he really went "off". If you're going to do Led Zeppelin you must do a live version of Stairway to Heaven. And then for female Friday, do hearts live version at the Kennedy Center. It will knock your socks off

There comes a time in every man’s life when a relationship ends long before he expected or wanted it to occur. That “Heartbreaker” has just gone away and left him flat. Faced with this unfathomable loss, he could wallow in self pity and spiral into depression, or he can accept the naked truth of the matter and move resolutely forward into a bright new future, with “Head Held High.” In time - “Ten Years Gone” - the old wound is healed, and all is seemingly right with the world. Unless of course that mistress of the wicked ways of love returns to town and their paths cross once more. Such is the tale told in the Led Zeppelin proto-metal masterpiece “Heartbreaker.” Annie, the lady in question, is back in town and little Robert Anthony is letting everybody in on the news. Even though he knows full well that all the other fellas will be more than happy to lay their money down for a little piece of Annie’s time. It seems the scorned lover himself is unable to resist her charms, at least until she calls out the name of another man in the midst of their passionate encounter. He is able to man up and declare that her time has come. He sends her off on her evil way...banishing her to Coventry.

Led Zeppelin performed some of their greatest hits at the Celebration Day benefit concert in 2007. These are some of their best performances even after 35+ years of of hard rocking. The version of Kashmir is outstanding and never fails to amaze. Led Zeppelin - Kashmir (Live from Celebration Day) (Official Video)

Everyone has their favourites but Zep were the top of the heap. Time of Dying, When the Levee Breaks, Kashmir will blow your mind. Plant had one of the best voices in rock. One of the best guitarists, drummers, musical arrangers. They had it all. They have really earned their place. You want live. Maybe try this. There are certain songs that HAVE to be played as one...Heartbreaker/Living Loving Maid are that way. Long ago radio stations decided to start playing them that way. Who knows why...though I suspect the reason why was to give them a longer bathroom break!! Two other examples of this practice are We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions by Queen and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band/With a Little Help From My Friends by The Beatles.

Do “Since I’ve Been Lovin’ You” , the studio version… different feel from live version. To me, this song is their masterpiece . Also, “You Shook Me”, “The Lemon Song”, “Bring It On Home”, and “Dazed and Confused”. I had albums 1 and 2 in high school.., still 2 of my favorites.

"Tangerine" is a great track from Zeppelin, it's off their 3rd album. Actually, Led Zep III might be my favorite album of theirs. But I didn't come here to say that, I came to say that y'all need to check out Larkin Poe. "Bleach Blonde Bottle Blues" is the song I last requested, so I'm gonna stick with that. As per usual, great reaction, and love y'all's vibe, keep up the good work!

"The Song Remains The Same" is a movie, that was released many decades ago, with Live Concert footage of them playing many of their Hits. You need to at least do all of LZ 4, and Houses Of The Holy, after all that greatness, then there are several more albums to check out. You can only listen to Livin Lovin Maid combined with Heartbreaker, so if you plan to do that song, you will have to listen to Heartbreaker again. I think you two would probably be Ok with that.😁BTW The Song Remains The Same is also the first song on the Houses Of The Holy album, but the song "Houses Of The Holy" is on the Physical Graffiti album.🤷‍♂️ Of course do the rest of LZ 2 as well.

🙌 🤟 More Led Zep please!!! Huge Rabbit Hole. Every song is great. Livin' Lovin' Maid is basically the.other half of this song. You haven't done their big anthem Stairway to Heaven, also need to do Kashmir. It's been sampled in quite a bit of rap songs.

In a 1990 review of the Zeppelin's first ever Greatest Hits compilation, 'Remasters', a British music paper described how the band had discovered the magic formula for 'destroying whole continents with earthquakes of joy' - and they were certainly one of the world's biggest acts; at one point allegedly outselling The Rolling Stones 2 to 1. 'Heartbreaker' is a monolithic blues rave-up from their second album (imaginatively titled 'Led Zeppelin II'). That quickfire guitar solo (which, live, provided inspiration to the young Eddie Van Halen) was actually dropped in after the rest of the track was complete, as an afterthought!
