I was watching Zahid Ahmed’s podcast with Junaid Akram.. and he very rightly pointed out few things about artists being common on big and small screen. He said the artists don’t have a school where they can go and learn acting, TV is what teaches them and it’s their school. Plus no one is interested in investing their time to watch shows that feature new faces. People who like Yumna watch her because of her work over the years. Now think if Yumna was an unknown name and doing a show like Bakhtawar or Dil Na Umeed to nahi. Who would watch her ? And yea, they have to pay their bills too

Hira Mani just made one stupid statement, there is a girl named Zunera, who made videos with Dua and Zaheer promoting and glorifying, and romantising their under age marriage. @@nkhan8933 I also commented under the video in which she was crying for zaheer, khari khari sunai. I wrote if she had any shame she would not glorify under age marriage. I wrote that instead of asking them where they were planning to go for their honeymoon, why didn’t she ask them about their education, how the planned to earn. How zaheer would feed her. Where will Dua go when this infatuation gets over, what will she do with her life, after speaking so harshly about her parents. Seemed Zunaira was on some agenda.

Hira Mani is just an attention seeker, everytime she say something weird in any interview that goes viral, but this time she has just crossed all the limits, i mean how can she be so irresponsible to say anything about this kind of sensitive matter. And education has nothing to do with it. It's just about common sense and being responsible for what you say publically. Even i'm not that educated but i understand the sensitivity of this matter.

Amna, Murtaza Wahab is always seen defending corruption cases against PPP leaders, so a person who does that cannot be innocent himself. Also, he and his mother have been in power for ages and have hardly done anything for this province. "Showing" concern and actually doing something are two different things. There are many others who are actually working with the power and budgets of millions. Just my two cents. ✌

what surprises me is people are still surprised by her behaviour. this goes to the deeper issue that we expect celebrities to be role models, beacons of virtue and inspire us to be better because we believe they are great people just for being famous. Here is the thing guys just because someone has money and fame doesn't make them good people, simple truth Hira Mani is just a bad person and there are many like her, we should be glad she is too dumb to hide it like many other celebrities do by projecting a false image. I think that is the only redeeming quality of Hira Mani is that she is not hiding who she is. Should she not post or say deaf tone thoughts in public space which can negatively influence the public, perhaps, but I appreciate her unfiltered vileness because it reminds us that not all celebrities are role models it is a reality check.

Now on abduction or rape of girls or women. I pray that we get proper law and order. So we can provide protection to our mothers, sisters, daughters and wife. Today one girl was abducted in daylight in Lahore. Everyday we get to hear or read such things and it's heart breaking. Actually there was never any concept of covering up in the Indian subcontinent especially in the Hindu culture. Marco Polo described how Indians were comfortable with their sexuality and sexual fluidity and how there are so confident in showing of their bodies. Even now all the sculptures and idol carvings of the ancient temples in India have the sculptures potray different sexual positions and nude idols. This shame of sexuality and covering up was colonial culture. And it was no surprise that till today the biggest cultural exports from India are said to be kamasutra which introdced the world to pleasure instead of sex just being a duty and sin and another is buddhism

We have to consider the Pakistani religious and cultural boundaries when thinking about an impact an actor can face with a nude photoshoot. Firstly, I don't think anyone in the industry would harbour such a sensibility but even if they did, the backlash would be huge. I don't think we can or should compare Pakistan with what happens in the west or even the increasingly westernised Bollywood industry.

Not just the financial angle, rather the individual’s own growth and one’s own satisfaction regarding a role, it should be left to the actors to decide what and how they want to take their careers forward. The new talent will find a way, whoever is good will make a place for him/herself IA. All the best for our actors struggling and those established.

Dua Zahra's Case: I think you guys aren't Journalists (of Dua Zahra's Case) neither is Iqrar ul Hassan he's just an anchor of ARY and narrates stories on Sar_e_Aam program which he personally don't investigate, his team does. So the thing is she's not kidnapped. It was bad parenting I would say. Really bad parenting and the unusual environment which they provided the girl, that led her to runaway. She herself ran away to Lahore and wanted to marry that boy Zaheer. He resisted but Dua Zahra blackmailed Zaheer and his family that I will suicide but won't go back so they had to do Nikkah. And parents knew this..and if she was MINOR as per recent fake medical report then why her Dad Mehdi Kazmi was going to marry her without her consent with a cousin of 30 years old? Shia's do this. And moreover the recent medical board is controversial by Waqar Bhatti as Radiologists weren't signing the report because according to them Dua Zahra's age is 16+ and as per Punjab law a girl can marry. It's a simple court marriage which the father is making a national issue and all the mainstream media and journalists know this since day one. Mehdi Kazmi forced her daughter to marry the cousin for the sake of a plot and now Zaheer sold his ployto fight for his case and to fight for his wife also Dua Zahra gave 164 statement that she's not kidnapped and is happy with her husband. And for God's sake she's not minor. She's attained the age of puberty long ago. Now she doesn't want to live with her parents, there's no mutual understanding between them and father was going to marry her without her consent which is wrong on humanitarian and Islamic bases. Moreover if she was abducted so why they're not letting her to give statement? In the history of kidnapping case this is the first case where they're not letting the abductee to speak so she can tell her story now Zaheer isn't there to influence her then why? Also there's no so called gAnG involved also Mehdi Kazmi's lawyer Jibran Nasir confirmed that since I'm in this case I haven't said any of these kinda things. So case isn't as complicated as fake KZreadrs are representing and common man with zero knowledge of Journalism and zero knowledge of law is giving their two cents and getting scared of non existent gAnG. I think only gang is of KZreadrs that are spreading lies and intellectual people are laughing on them. DON'T SEARCH ON GOOGLE OR KZread FOR FAKE NEWS THAT'S SPREADING LIKE A FIRE. INVESTIGATE FROM BOTH POINT OF VIEWS.

We are all eagerly waiting for Maula Jutt to release soon!!! We have been waiting for this movie for such a long time since we saw its trailer/promo the first time. Really hope they release it soon in cinemas. The movie looks one of a kind for Pakistani cinema. Also, I hope that the film distribution is done properly when it's time for the release. Hoping it will release in Dubai with many showtimes in all cinemas

From the sound of her Tweets and interviews Hira Mani seems like an attention seeker and crazy lady. She picks up only those roles that portray her as the most innocent, wise and miskeeeen bechari woman ever. Be it ibn e hawa, kashaf, yeh na thi humari kismat yun tou pyaar hai bhut,do bol and ghalati(those were interchangeable dramas), sun yaara allllllll her roles are same .. pyaarri se bachi

WoW Hira Mani is so bloody insensitive. Aamna rightly pointed out "Tonedeafness is her brand". I also remember Urwa Hocane making an uninformed comment on the same case in the beginning. Pakistani celebrities need to shut up if they are unaware instead of making a fool of themselves.

Agree the way they seem to be normalising it is mind boggling seriously I think Hassan at least shows the dislike but Aamna seems to be okay with it she’s complaining about lighting not about him being nude…mainly being a Muslim I didn’t expect such thinking from these people…Pakistani Indian American or not these are totally unacceptable

there is no limits for anything, people do things for money, to show off or just for fun. I know my limits and I know what I can do and what I should not do. same thing I want from my children, we cant stop anyone but we can teach our children what is right and what is wrong and then give them freedom to run their life the way they pick to live in this world. I lives in America I can eat what i want to eat i can wear what i want to wear but i have my own dress cod and my own food , i do not compromise with anyone. i feel really proud and i am very happy . so i think each person should find their own way to see what are their limits.
