Even actors like leonardo di caprio and henry cavill are trolled for dating younger women, all the khans in bollywood are trolled for romancing young actresses. I really did't like Nick's and Alia's decision, it can't be true love, its just attraction.

It is true that meera, mawra, veena, humaima have performed intimate roles that are far worse than what ahad did. That's what I call crossing a line. But I'll also call what ahad did crossing a line too. I won't dictate them what to do and what not to do, I am not answerable for their actions. But as far as the sentiments of Pakistanis is concerned and being told that they don't even have the right to express their disappointment. I am sorry, but it just means you are normalising Muslim actors performing such scenes. Its okay for them but not for the audience. It means we are normalising indecency. Porn, extramarital affairs, all of this is frowned upon in the same way and yet people indulge in such acts. But it is also clear that they are highly objectionable and in no way normalised. So, I am not saying troll them and use abusive words to express your hatred. But atleast say that this is wrong, cuz it is. As Muslims, one cannot lock lips with the opposite gender. If they do, good carry on. Is it right. No. We have to say its wrong when it is.

After all of this, I do not respect Ahad as a person and as a Muslim. The so called "liberals" come up with replies such as 'Hug scenes bhi hotay hain humare dramas main, drama aur film industry hi unislamic hain'. All these influencers and journalists have totally ignored the fact that you cannot justify one sin with another. On the basis of that logic, one can even praise and respect pornstars because they are also fulfilling the REQUIREMENTS of their roles. The thing is we should not encourage a fellow Muslim brother in climbing levels of sin just for the sake of international recognition and respect, all of us will be answerable to Allah for that. Moreover, scenes like these can easily be avoided if they put a question mark on your personal identity and values. I am not a fan of intimate scenes in netflix or any other series and I would happily watch a series which does not involve intimate scenes but has a good plot. Such scenes are put in movies and series to attract a special type of audience. So actors bear the responsibility of choosing the audience whom they want to show their work. Clearly, Ahad wants to please that particular audience more than Allah or the people who gave him love and respect here in Pakistan.

Maybe the degree varies to some extent due to cultural values but it’s literally exactly the same backlash variety. I mean DJ still gets (fyi - according to her own admission) borderline harassed walking down Hollywood for her not so tame scenes in that infamous trilogy. Is it just as hateful ? Maybe not! Actors are not religious preacher or idol. People shouldn’t expect someone else to follow their ethics and moral value. Because every individual is different. Many of us like Cristiano Ronaldo for his football skills. That doesn’t mean we'll expect him to follow our life style and moral value. In the same way actors should be judged on the basis of their acting skill Only . These days people can choose appropriate contents according to their choice as there are so many options available . We all know what kind of contents are there in Netflix. If someone is sensitive to those type of content he/she can choose whatever suits them.. It was a NETFLIX series NOT a PAKISTANI drama. So why would someone have such expectations in the first place!

Shah rukh khan stumbles into acting parentless and penniless, plus the kissing scene u talk about it done looooongggg after he had made it (rather decently too up until then given the “options” he may have had) so was it desperate? No! Peer pressure and weak sure yes in part...why? becuse he actually said so himself in one of his interviews when asked about it. Now that’s another debate why he succumbed. 2 ahad is a nobody atleast on the international scene (and well let’s face it personal preference but isn’t quite as charming or intelligent as srk) so I doubt he was pressured into it. Anndddd this is his very first job so great start ...Plus the scene isn’t even majorly important to the story like in any way... and it is a shit show. Again, I am sure u know how to check reviews. It's about the platform where the content is being watched. Nobody would tolerate an intimate scene televised on our local channels, shot in our own industry. But when you're watching international content, on a platform where every other series has much more intimate scenes and our public doesn't mind trending movies like 365 days in our country for continuously 2 weeks, I don't think people have a right to criticize Ahad for performing a scene as per the requirements of the international series. It's not as if he was representing Pakistan in the series or playing a Muslim/Pakistani character. Since people have an issue with the actor and not his character, people need to change themselves first before criticizing other human beings.

Abuse towards women is something I stand against as much as I stand against a muslim actor kissing or performing any sort of intimate scene which crosses boundaries. Ofcourse we want to watch romance but it also has some limits. Locking lips just crosses those limits. The fact that abuse towards women and performing such scenes both is wrong, so it should be admitted that it is wrong too. For me both of these things are wrong and I frown upon over both of them. I say that both of them are wrong, to not normalise it. If something really is good, it is something I would more likely encourage and normalise. Because its right. As a person, we should learn to admit what's right and wrong. Leave alone the person as for he is answerable for his own good. But, we cannot claim something like this to not be a big deal when it isn't allowed in our religion just because other haram things have become so common, it doesn't gives the license to every wrong thing to be normalised. EVERY WRONG ACT WHETHER ABUSE or INDECENCY, should be addressed as being wrong. It's us who set levels and give license to one thing just because of the other.

Discussion on ahad Raza's kiss reminds of an older discussion of you guys about ban on showing intimacy between couples in pakistani dramas..... Where you guys said that it's completely bizarre that on screen, a husband slapping or abusing his wife in any form couldn't be problematic for sensor board but if a husband shows affection towards his wife on screen needs to be ban.

what they didn't said it needs to banned, the board said. They have been very vocal about showing intimacy because at the end of the day it also builds one's appetite for it. having said that there is not much on Muslim country's TV channel without offending everyone plus the actors being Muslims would never agree for it.

If Ahad had a bold scene in resident evil than once mawra hocane also had a bold scene in sanam teri kasam the indian movie also imran abbas also had bold scenes in the indian movie. Than why the society is passing too much highly critics about ahad? Its not the work done in the country but internationally. People must keep them calm if their actor had bold scenes in an work which is done out of the country.

Our cimenas are also misrepresenting our culture and religion. Doing item numbers and wearing mini skirts/camisoles on big screens are common practices now but these things no longer bother the masses here. Everyone has different rules and boundries. I personally have issues with very "basic" things like showing affairs on tv like it isn't a big deal or hugging and dancing so I avoid watching such films/series.

What? Ahad's fans are not his fans because he is a Muslim. His reputation as an actor is not because he is a Muslim actor. His reputation and his fans exist because he is a VERY GOOD actor. If you think like a strict Muslim ,then he should not act with any non-Mehram women... he cannot lay his head on the lap of a woman playing his mother. He had a hugging scene with Sajal Aly in 'Yakeen ka Safar' which he did before they were married or even engaged. That was also very wrong by Muslim standards. A lot of Islamic scholars see all acting as haraam. Even those who see it as acceptable always say that acting is ok if the character is not shown breaking any rules of Islam. By those standards any Muslim actor playing a villain is doing haraam. By such standards there should be only religious content and no films or tv dramas made in Islamic countries. It is hypocritical for people to binge watch non-Muslim actors playing roles and doing scenes that would be considered haraam if Muslim actors did it. My advice to such judgmental Muslims would then be that they turn off their tvs, get off the internet and not watch any non-Islamic content.

Hawa Hawa by Jehangir was a copy of Persian song "Havar Havar". 2019, Gagar song by Jaiswal was a copy of Lataji's song. Qaid e Azam theme song was a copy last year's "Ek Chumma" bolly song. Pakistani movie "Khel Khel mein"(copied title of Indian movie) song "Hum laye hai toofan se" is also a copy of Indian song. Even the recent song of coke studio Peechay Hutt" is a copy of "DVBBS - GOMF feat. BRIDGE"(catch phrase "get out of my way" literal translation of "peechey hutt). But these Pakistani expert won't highlight these issues, like they how they conveniently missed the copy of kisi "disco mein Jaye" song of Qaid Zindabad movie. Even our top movie experts, director Nabeel Qureshi (whose movie looks like a ripoff version of Bollywood movie, recent one being Simbha oops Qaid e A Z) claimed Raksha Bandan was a copy of Pak film(as they have the patent for dowry movies). But the truth is, Raksha Bandhan is heavily inspired by Kathi Kantha Rao, which was released almost 12 years ago. So Nabeel stole the movie form KKR😴.

Everyone has his own moral gauge. No actor can please all people. Even if he had not done this, there would definitely be some people who would even question him being shirtless, or even being in a Netflix film....tou kia actors sb ko khush krne ke lye ghar beth jayen????

Ahad should be allowed to express his creativity as per the script. If the audience cannot deal with it, then switch it off and watch something that you can stomach! Lol

Hes aahad could have put a clause in that where he will draw the boundary. But because we r so desperate to get fame in Hollywood and Bollywood we cross and compromise all our religion As you say we sould not watch it if we dont like it u are also correct, but we r the viewers and that should be taken into consideration before signing contracts

Amna you stated the best thing about ahad's controversery, he should have easily avoided the peck/kiss or whatever. Our actors need to think before doing such scenes. But same as amna said Fawad Khan is Fawad Khan.
