RANT! - TV

Ойын-сауық

This is a remake of the original video from TechMasterJason. Enjoy it!
The TV (short for television, OBVIOUSLY) is (or was) simply one of the MOST important things to exist on this screwed up planet! Its purpose is to entertain, educate and inform people about different things. Created in 1927 by a man named Philo T. Farnsworth (RIP 1906-1971), the TV was a revolutionary new piece of tech that would actually NOT become popular until the 1950s. Beginning in THIS decade of the 20th century, the movie theater has actually started to DECLINE in popularity as more and more people have started owning television sets in their homes! Cartoons (in particular) would THEN start to be shown on TV, rather than at the movies. This AMAZING piece of technology would start appearing in the house beginning in the 50s and ending at the present day! Like, you can see how important it is! This was one of the first things you would see inside somebody's house. The black screen set up on a stand or inside an entertainment center would IMMEDIATELY draw your attention back in like 1955! Seeing that it was a new thing (wish I grew up in the 1950s but am happy that the 2000s were the decade I grew up in). Over the years, we have seen television EVOLVE into what it is today! Through their ads, bumpers, newscasts and ESPECIALLY their shows.
The TV has its advantages and disadvantages. The advantages include it giving us IMPORTANT news (don't watch CNN though because they suck), wanting products from ads, learning about different cultures and of course, entertaining us with excellent shows (some of them were bad though). Disadvantages include gaining weight from sitting in front of the TV for hours, struggling with social situations, false information and having your children being exposed to VIOLENT programs (making them imitate what's on the shows). It is IMPORTANT to monitor your viewers (ESPECIALLY kids as parents) to give them the balanced life they NEED. One VERY good reason on why the 2020s suck is because of today's kids being addicted to TV (and similar other forms of entertainment)!
I started to remember watching TV in late 2003/early 2004, and THIS was when it started to really peak. So many ICONIC shows and commercials were airing! Back then, you could NOT stop watching the telly! Your parents would have to pull ya away from it if you did NOT spend your entire day outside (thank GOD I'm not a braindead 2020s little brat addicted to TV, but rather a smart 2000s kid who AT LEAST tried to balance my life). If YOU are a parent of a kid (or two, or three LOL), it is YOUR JOB to help monitor your child (or children if you have more than 1) on how much TV he or she (they if more than 1 kid) watches. As a person childless by choice, looks like I don't have to worry about that! :)
While TVs will CONTINUE to exist forever, streaming is the way to go now (as cable TV has TRULY started dying off by the mid 2010s). I recommend you get a Roku, and download your favorite streaming services to watch shows on. Watch out for the shut down of Disney+, a streaming service launched in November 2019 by The Walt Disney Company! As Disney is RECENTLY struggling to keep their things afloat due to people BOYCOTTING the company (myself included, especially because Splash Mountain is GONE).
Enjoy the rant!
And RIP The Golden Age of TV (1990-2012)

Me as well! Even though I don't think I discovered it till 2019 when I was surfing channels on Verizon Fios. Bumpers, interstitial programs and logo were decent. So were a good amount of the shows! I am quite disappointed to see it closed down for NO REASON AT ALL! :( Sure, Qubo wasn't as iconic as the other American kids channels like Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Disney Channel and PBS Kids (making it UNDERRATED), but it DID have a cult following. Plus reruns of old shows like Maisy (from November 2008 to June 2012), Maggie and the Ferocious Beast (from May 2018 to February 2021), Fireman Sam (from September 2019 to February 2021) and furthermore. Best (original?) show on it (in my opinion) was Doki (airing from September 2014 to February 2021). This show, produced by Toronto based Portfolio Entertainment, was the English dub of an original Spanish kids cartoon from Discovery Familia. About a 6 year old dog named Doki with five friends that are part of a worldwide expedition group dubbed "Team Doki." Together, the team attempts to solve real world problems by LITERALLY travelling the world and learning about things like science, geography, technology and of course different cultures. Each one of the main characters is very unique and positive, the animation looks reminiscent of a modern PBS Kids cartoon, the music is good (including the ever so catchy theme song) and the stories are very interesting! I miss this show so bad, and we sadly can't find season 3 of it ANYWHERE in English! :( RIP Qubo Channel (2007-2021)

But it DIED in 2009 with CN Real! Got resurrected in 2010 with Regular Show saving it, but then died AGAIN (permanently this time) by 2013 when Teen Titans Go! premiered. This last show is STILL RUNNING and everyone hates it Mikey! You may THINK that Cartoon Network began declining in 2004 when the logo was changed to just a simple CN and got rid of those 2 shows you mentioned? I can agree Verica! Old TV is incredibly, incredibly nostalgic for many grown up people. In fact, 90s and 00s had the BEST programming, bumpers and even logos (I'm looking at you, old Nickelodeon splat logo). Unfortunately, ever since late December 2012/2013 (in my opinion), TV went down the drain fast! I haven't really seen a NEW good TV show since around the time It's a Spongebob Christmas! has recently premiered on Nick! Which THAT, is actually a classic Spongebob episode from season 8 (that season of the show is pretty much the last one that's classic, at least to me, as ALL episodes in season 8 were made in full screen instead of widescreen beginning with season 9 and some episodes were actually so good like the aforementioned It's a Spongebob Christmas!, Hello Bikini Bottom!, The Other Patty and Super Evil Aquatic Villain Team Up is Go!). It's a Spongebob Christmas! is DEFINITELY best Spongebob episode (well, only in season 8 that is). Excellent and catchy tunes (best one is, of course, Don't Be a Jerk It's Christmas in my opinion)! Beautiful stop motion animation (don't think I can make something just as good as that as a HIGHLY experienced video editor for about 12 years). Simple but well executed holiday themed plot! And the raspberry fart sound that plays every time a character turns into jerk? Classic comedy (that NEVER fails to make me laugh). Watch this episode NOW (or during Christmas time) on Paramount+ if you are CRAVING nostalgic Christmas specials like me! :)

Oh hell yes! The formerly SO nostalgic TV channel (actually aimed to boomers and Gen X ers but we Gen Z ers grew up with it as well) that combined classic cartoons with more high tech bumpers, mainly with them iconic wind up toys. I miss the 2000-2014 Boomerang too (or, to put it quite simply, the OLD Boomerang)! While we're grateful that Boomerang (Cartoon Network's sister channel) HAS existed for over 25 years now, it has been nearly a decade of the shitty REBRAND that first came into tuition back in 2015. Turner took almost EVERYTHING that was good about original Boomerang channel away, and replaced it with hot modern garbage! Every time I heard the bumpers with those repetitive sounding shitty dubstep remixes (like, "What's the matter with that crazy cat?!" from Tom and Jerry), I actually wanted to bash my head against the wall so hard! The current announcer (Collin Dean, who voiced Lincoln in The Loud House and Oto from Doki) is so annoying. All the reboots are trash, and they barely play any of the old cartoons from golden age of animation! Plus, what's the deal with that ridiculous modern logo?! It looks like a carbon copy of Cartoon Network's current logo (but only a little different). But the old Boomerang? Was pretty much PERFECT. The old logo actually made sense, as it was a big blue B resembling an actual boomerang toy. The bumpers were cool, including their soundtracks (best one was Boomerang's generic theme)! Old announcer (it was either Jeff Bergman or John O'Hurley, in which the latter has also voiced Victor the Villain in Wallykazam!) had excellent energetic voice. And the old cartoons (well, most of them anyway) were awesome! Even if most were just reruns of the original releases. THIS was how Saturday Mornings (mainly for kids) were properly done back in the 2000s and the first half of the 2010s (outside of JUST eating a bowl of sugary cereal in your pajamas)! It's like this age old tradition has CAME BACK for zoomers (that we thought has DIED in the 1990s)! And haven't I forgot to mention the seasonal blocks?! They were EPIC. The best one was Boomerang Christmas Party! Which, was obviously the block that for 25 STRAIGHT DAYS in December, was to show ONLY classic Christmas specials from the golden age of animation. It actually borrowed the bumpers from Cartoon Network's own Christmas block but were slightly changed to fit Boomerang! I absolutely remember hearing a particular version of Jingle Bells (that I can't find) in the bumpers and watching the original How The Grinch Stole Christmas! from 1966 (with commercial break as originally aired). Never again will I experience such pure Christmas joy through Boomerang! :(

Yes, I know! Most of those 2 decades were DOMINATED by the famous classic splat logo. With the font being Balloon Extra Bold! Nickelodeon WAS the best of the big 3 kids channels. Offering SO MUCH! Tons of branded merchandise, an AWESOME Nickelodeon themed hotel in Orlando (that formerly was a Holiday Inn, but has strangely reverted back to Holiday Inn in like 2016), the jingle (Nick Nick Nick Nick Nick Nick Nick Nick, Nickelodeon!) and of course the shows! Spongebob Squarepants (old one), The Fairly OddParents! (old one as well), Avatar: The Last Airbender, Drake & Josh, iCarly, original Rugrats, Are You Afraid of the Dark and many, many others! But ever since 2009, Nick has TRULY started to die. Starting off with the current logo set in litebulb font! It's boring, and for years there was no splat! Now there is one, but it isn't the same. It STILL can't turn into anything much like the old Nick logo! The modern Nick shows (and movies) are mostly hot garbage. I really freaking hate The Loud House, cause it has no substance and got very popular for no reason! Plus the fanart is INCREDIBLY disgusting. Also do you remember the oh so hated block Nick Studio 10 back in 2013?! This was one of the WORST blocks in TV history because of the pointless skits, the gross "Fart in a Jar" song and the in show interruptions where it would go just like this. BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP! "The following is an important announcement." (random short clip reminiscent of a Vine would play) BEEEEEEEP! "Nick did it!" That was so annoying, and I'm glad they ended SO quickly due to negative viewer feedback! For about 15 straight years, Nick has TRULY became a horrible, stupid, pointless and unwatchable mess. This channel is now VERY overrated and you can see how many people miss the 90s/early 2000s Nick! Remembering when it was awesome. Same thing applied to other Nick related channels like Nicktoons, NickMusic and Noggin! They all got the same shitty 2009 rebrand treatment.

That is so true man! And I'm mainly talking about CABLE TV (which is so dead now). I have simply lived off the joy of cable for years (beginning in like 2003 when I first remembered TV as a little 4 year old boy), before it began to tank sometime in 2012 (year of end of the world)! This was when all the crappy shows came in, and some kids channels began to transition! Like Nick Jr. removed Moose and Zee (my CHILDHOOD duo of animated teachers) on March 1st, 2012 which began the pretty mediocre "Smart Place to Play" era. And PBS Kids Sprout? Was actually suffering as it was being slowly acquired by NBCUniversal (the shitty company that has turned the amazing Sprout into the horrible Universal Kids in 2017). THIS what happened! Sesame Workshop, one of Sprout's co founders, EXITED running the channel in December 2012 (the VERY time period world was supposed to end) by selling their interest to Comcast. And, is when Sprout began to tank in ratings! Several years (or so) later, it became Universal Kids. Making ratings FURTHER tank with a poor schedule! Hey, at least Cartoon Network was still good in 2012 as it ran quality programming like Regular Show! That one of my favorites!!! :/ Best alternative to regular television (that you need) is Roku, as it offers ALL the good shows from classic TV land on various streaming services. Barely any commercials, and you can control the show with your remote by pausing, rewinding or fast forwarding it (not possible on regular TV since you WILL be forced to watch it the normal way). If you still have cable, cut the cord now! >:)

Far from okay! TV sucks today. Yes Bert, there's Bluey but that's one of the ONLY good modern shows. In comparison, there were SO many awesome shows from the old days that still hold up now! The 2000s was when TV peaked in my opinion (and no, it can't be just cause I was a kid then). When 2012 hit, that was the beginning of the end! I mean, the world was actually going to end and the recession has caused things to slowly decline throughout late 2000s to early 2010s. Things went downhill MUCH quicker either in or after 2012! We're still definitely feeling the effects of 2012's tragedies. They were worse than all bad events in the 2000s. When plenty of people say that their life hasn't been feeling the same since 2012, I actually concur with them. @@theumbrellacorporation1523 This is THE show that saved an otherwise pretty average kids channel named Disney Junior (Playhouse Disney was miles better). When Bluey premiered back in late 2019, it took America by storm. They have never seen any show like that, especially with a bunch of strange new Australian words that we Americans have been introduced to! The characters are very cute, the theme song is quite catchy and the animation looks good. This show definitely deserves all the hype! :) Looking at the other American kids channels, I haven't seen anything remotely good on any of them for AT LEAST several years! We tragically lost Sprout, ABC Family, Noggin and other nostalgic TV channels for children due to business. And the channels that still exist (originating from 2010s or before) have changed for the worse! When I was a kid, I remember watching the old Spongebob, Thomas the Train and yes, Spot. The little yellow puppy by Eric Hill! This show was last seen on The Disney Channel in 2002, but the Disney VHS releases were much better anyway (cause they were dubbed with American voice actors). I could watch it for HOURS as a tot! It was so fun watching Spot and his friends doing actual childhood activities not involving tech. Too bad that it's so underrated, plus universally panned by parents of little ones! For being too simple, boring and kinda dumb. I'm Spot's biggest fan (ever since like 2003 when I can first remember the show based on Eric Hill's books) and this offends me deeply! Sir, watch Discover Spot here on KZread (if you haven't already) and you'll see how AMAZING this masterpiece of a film from the year 2000 is. Good simplistic storylines, super catchy songs, decent animation and Spot (the cutest little fictional dog ever with an excellent child voice provided by the one and only Haley Joel Osment) will make you grin the whole time. Let's not forget the nostalgic quote "And now, our feature presentation!" narrated by I think Brian Cummings (plays before the film). Regular Show was also a very good program when I was mainly a teen. So funny when Muscle Man squeals like a little pig, particularly in the episode Muscle Mentor (2012) as he tries to get Rigby (wearing an orange baby bouncer) off of him. The Loud House is overrated and boring, plus Cocomelon can kiss my ass! I was totally through with the TV by 2020, and agreed to cut the cord in 2022. I miss 2000s/2010s programming so bad! Some people do seek the comfort of childhood nostalgia to cope with traumatic events, and I see why Spot the Dog and other pieces of media have become a significant part of your present life. I have read Spot the Dog as a child, but never watched the TV show. Spot really is one of the most well written childrens character you would ever find along with Curious George. The naivety and the charm of Spot and George never fails to entertain me, as I see aspects of myself blended in their characters. I could only relate more to Curious George the more I read into the misadventures he gets himself into and his dynamic with The Man in the Yellow Hat. It was heart meltingly adorable. Of all the shows you can find nowadays, I feel Bluey is among the only ones that succeed in capturing the simplicity and relatability seen in Spot the Dog and Curious George. @@theumbrellacorporation1523 That is right! As I have said before, I'm Spot's biggest fan just as Patchy the Pirate is Spongebob's biggest (he, being played by Tom Kenny, is actually the main host of Spongebob Squarepants, appearing in select episodes only such as Party Pooper Pants, Ugh, Shanghaied and of course, Christmas Who?, which is the absolute best episode with Patchy that is a must watch during the holiday season alongside other Christmas specials like the original How The Grinch Stole Christmas!, Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Spot's Magical Christmas, the most underrated one of the bunch). There is a reason why I'm obsessed with children's TV shows (even though I do watch a few adult ones like South Park and The Simpsons too, for variety) as a currently depressed male in his 20s! It is, because I grew up with a bunch of them in the 2000s, and continued my search for quality shows throughout the 2010s when I was older. But when the 2020s came, I have unfortunately gave up my search for good new shows! After seeing how boring things in general have been. And how most shows NOW have the audacity to put in PC messages, pointless life lessons, obnoxious catchy songs and/or scenes with cringeworthy outdated material (just look at Nickelodeon, who thinks that it's actually some sort of trend). Thanks for feeling bad that I may NEVER see a quality TV show ever again, my good sir! Moving out of my hometown (Winchester, Massachusetts) was INDEED a traumatic event that has happened to me back in September 2021. As the place I'm living in now really sucks! My new house is falling apart, has terrible floor plan, no backyard for fun activities (especially during the summer) and ANNOYING NOISES GALORE. Let's not forget, that I can't decorate my home with thousands of Christmas lights anymore (as a tradition), which was inspired by a greater Boston area tradition (dating all the way back to the 1950s) of a certain neighborhood in Saugus, Massachusetts going all out with holiday decor! That, of course, is the famous Lynn Fells Parkway. Where lights have covered almost every goddamn surface on a big series of private homes for about 1 entire mile! I loved this road (and its surrounding area) best in the year 2012, cause the neighborhood has looked EXTREMELY beautiful (including the 400 block of Fellsway with one of the best decorated homes in the Bay State) with way more lights when compared to now. So to cope with this loss, I stream various childhood TV shows! And collect some OTHERS that are not available (either for free or at all) on streaming. I am hoping to collect the Spot series on DVD real soon! Distributed in part by the BBC. This year for the holidays, I need to watch Spot's Magical Christmas in full (it's a mashup source of mine in which you'll only see parts of it, including in Mashing All the Way, my upcoming film). I'll buy the DVD of this special in time! Don't you worry. I have read Spot as a child too! And the old books are way better than the new ones because Eric Hill actually made them. Look at the new Spot books, and you'll probably throw up when I tell you this! Eric Hill did NOT make them (because he passed away in 2014), yet his name is still credited anyway. How disrespectful! I, in particular, want to burn a copy of Find Spot at the Halloween Party (2021) because Spot is dressed like a bat, and the book came out during the worst era of COVID!!! Coincidence? I think not. This book will DEFINITELY offend the people whose lives were impacted by the pandemic. And they'll wish to feed an ignorant preschool aged Spot CHOCOLATE! To kill him. Wish I was able to do that in my spare time but it's illegal! I also remember Curious George, and the PBS Kids version of this show lasting from 2006-2015 was the best and most iconic! It has the cast of Frank Welker doing the vocal effects for George, and Jeff Bennett doing the voice of The Man in the Yellow Hat. Bluey is like Peppa Pig, but MUCH BETTER. And Spot is thankfully being revived by Canadian based Guru Studio, as this year, they have gotten TV rights to develop a new animated series about Eric Hill's beloved puppy character! It'll get today's preschoolers to relate to him, and older folks (like me) nostalgic. I absolutely can't wait for it to come out! :)

There were shows like Timon & Pumbaa, 101 Dalmations: The Series, Teacher's Pet, The Proud Family, American Dragon: Jake Long, TaleSpin, Goof Troop and various others. Also remember when 00s shows like Phineas & Ferb and House of Mouse were on Toon Disney?!

Believe me sir, EVERYONE DOES because Playhouse Disney was a LEGENDARY channel and block. You gotta remember the hosts! A piece of Playdoh voiced by Debi Derryberry (same voice actress for Jimmy Neutron) and then 2 colored monkeys. Plus all these iconic shows! Little Einsteins Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Handy Manny PB&J Otter Bear in the Big Blue House Imagination Movers Spot the Dog (Eric Hill) Shorts and many more. I freaking hate Disney Junior (outside of the reruns of some Playhouse Disney programming, and early 2019 episodes of T.O.T.S. and Bluey). It's not as magical and exciting as the channel and block that was there back in the 2000s! This, Noggin and PBS Kids Sprout (all my childhood channels I have actively watched) are all gone since 2009 to 2010s!!! And that makes me very sad! :(

It was excellent with memorable songs, very likable characters (especially Bear, who has a very soothing voice), amazing puppetry and good storylines that are about really simple topics that REAL kids often face. Too bad that it got cancelled in 2006, and taken off the air in 2007! You mentioned that this masterpiece is on Disney+ now? Well there's my childhood again if I want to watch it!!! :)

@@therealhootstheowl1985 Sorry man but that's life! Just like the unfortunate death of a person you loved, TV shows will eventually get cancelled when they're ready. It's particularly due to LOW ratings in later seasons that will prevent viewers from sticking around to watch those shows! And thus, they will end. Another reason? The creators of these shows just wanna retire and move on to other things. Thus the cancellation of them! Be careful what you wish for, cause a TV show should NOT run forever! Even with an army of loyal fans refusing to let the show die. In fact, here is when EACH the shows you mentioned should've gotten cancelled! 1. Sesame Street - In 1990 when Jim Henson has died prematurely. 2. Spot the Dog - Probably after Guru's new series comes out in the future (season 4?). 3. Spongebob Squarepants - In 2004 with The Spongebob Squarepants Movie! 4. The Simpsons - In 2001 after season 12. That the last season to have aired before 9/11. You know what some wise old people say, "All good things have to come to an end someday."

PBS Kids is also NOTHING like they used to. They replaced their iconic logo featuring Dash with a purple circle with the name PBS Kids with it, they got rid of most of their old shows like the original Clifford the Big Red Dog, WordWorld, Sid the Science Kid, Between the Lions, Dragon Tales, ZOOM, Zoboomafoo, Berenstain Bears, Sagwa, Jay Jay the Jet Plane, Clifford’s Puppy Days, etc. And also, their new shows aren’t even educational.

I can absolutely agree with you on that! PBS Kids was pretty much my entire childhood, alongside Noggin and Playhouse Disney (these latter 2 channels are unfortunately gone now)! The new PBS Kids logo from 2022 is absolute trash! Why? Because it's just another shitty example of oversimplification applied to formerly classic logos that people loved. All this logo has are the words PBS Kids in a dark blue circle! The original PBS Kids logo from 1999 (slightly updated in 2009) was so much better since it featured A KID! Either Dash or Dot. Identifying the brand! Changing the logo was ABSOLUTELY the final straw for me, as a huge fan of PBS Kids. I also miss a majority of the old shows from 2000s and very early 10s (like 2010 to 2012ish)! OG Clifford was pretty dang good, alongside Between the Lions, WordWorld and my personal favorite, DRAGON TALES (which you didn't mention). I hated Sid the Science Kid but he WAS in my profile pic throughout the last month of April crying! Each month or so, I change my profile pic to keep things fresh. This time, it's Bunsen from Bunsen is a Beast! acting like a baby to get more candy on Halloween. Yeah, I kind of liked this show! Seeing that it was actually made by the same creator behind The Fairly OddParents!, Danny Phantom and T.U.F.F. Puppy, named Butch Hartman! Usually, his shows are pretty good!! :/

Oh, it IS the reason why the big 3 are lacking variety! Streaming is actually so boring. Remember when all 3 these channels were good?! Early 2000s seemed to be the peak for all of them. They seemed to have all went downhill in 2009, and died in late 2012 (in my opinion). Uncertain what has made Disney Channel go downhill in 09, but Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network?! Nick, of course, officially removed the FAMOUS orange splat logo that put this iconic kids channel (and the first of its kind when it launched in 1979) on the map for years on September 28th, 2009! Just because the former CEO, Cyma Zarghami, thought it was OUTDATED. Many of the now pissed off Nick viewers did NOT agree with this move, since the old Nick logo was AMAZING! Cartoon Network has created that abomination of a block called CN Real that year, which showed shitty live action shows on a channel that was meant for CARTOONS. I cringe whenever I think back to watching that ridiculous game show called Hole In The Wall! :(

Nickelodeon has shown Rugrats, Drake & Josh, the old Fairly OddParents (seasons 1-4 or 5?) and best of all, PRE-MOVIE Spongebob! The first 3 seasons of this famous TV show are the PINNACLE of comedy gold, in which ALL seasons after 3 just sadly cannot compare to. Especially with The Spongebob Squarepants Movie (2004) originally supposed to be the series finale as Stephen Hillenburg (RIP) wanted! I mean, has Plankton successfully gotten the formula in anything BESIDES THE MOVIE?! I guess not because he is just a failure of life, and nothing more! Cartoon Network has shown Dexter's Laboratory, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and the vast collection of classic cartoons in their Boomerang block. And Disney Channel has shown Kim Possible, The Proud Family, That's So Raven and EVEN undubbed Spot (Eric Hill) shorts (no one actually knows about this but me, sadly)! I'm afraid not, as my next rant is going to be about Domino's! :( And, you may be thinking, why this place?! Welp, here is why. Domino's (originally called DomiNick's Pizza from 1960 to 1965, and then Domino's Pizza from 1965-2012) is one of the world's LARGEST pizza chains founded by brothers Jim and Tom Monaghan in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The location I grew up eating Domino's at is located in Milford, Massachusetts (which has since updated their signage and menu). When I was a kid, I loved this pizzeria so much! Domino's Pizza, along with local restaurant Garden Pizza (also located in Milford, Massachusetts) was my flipping childhood when it came to pizza and other Italian American based things. Right off the bat, the ORIGINAL pizza smell has filled the air of my former local Domino's Pizza and got me pumped to eat their food! After about 20 minutes, boom. It's dinner time! :) Developed in 2008 and launched in December 2009, Domino's has SECRETLY changed their pizza recipe for EIGHTEEN STRAIGHT MONTHS because of unsatisfied customers. Like, WTF?! The original pizza recipe was used for 49 years and it actually put them on the map! It was actually delicious (at least in my opinion) and as a little kid back in the early 2000s, I got very excited when my parents would order 2 cheese pizzas for mainly me and my younger bro (one was light on the cheese as part of a deal) and I watched the amazing pizza tracker from 2008 go. Plus the inclusion of Cinna Stix (discontinued in 2017) with extra icing (yummy), and maybe 2 liter of Coke?! Best pizza nights ever, as I particularly played a Spongebob PC game (Operation: Krabby Patty from 2001) or watched cartoons on TV while eating the food and enjoying it! I will NEVER enjoy this place again! It's either Pizza Hut, Papa Gino's or a local mom and pop shop from now on. Hey, I go to all 3 anyway! >:(
