I’m glad that you mentioned the sharp notes because I wanted to purchase from Navitus. Tiziana Terenzi has those sharp notes and I have wasted hundreds of dollars on perfumes I can’t wear. I understand these base blends are proprietary but I wish they would say what the complete notes are because if nothing else I would like to know what’s offending me. So, I can avoid purchasing it.

I know, it's so frustrating. I did get down to the bottom of the specific chemicals that make that scent profile but I forgot the names. They don't list them on any ingredient labels though, unfortunately :(

Addition Absolu was my favourite out of the discovery set! It smells sooooo good on skin - I looooove scents that have these cozy ingredients without smelling like an "eatable-Gourmand"! This one smells like a rich and cozy Perfume to me❤

Crème Exquis was love at first sniff. It’s so good. I agree, that Vivamor scents are superior to Navitus. Great video and thank you for sharing your thoughts! ❤️😊

I am also very sensitive to “that sharp, pinchy note,” and I love that description. For me it is so sharp that it hurts my nose and never goes away. I’ve been curious about this house, so many thanks for sharing your thoughts! Now I know whether to try these and if I do, which will be the most suited to me. ❤

The standout for me in the original vivamor collection was aura celeste which I got a full bottle of.

Oh I’m very interested in this. I’ve only smelled Chocolate Queen and it’s just not for me but there are others that are tempting to try

I cannot touch navitus because of that described sharp note. Once I spritzed a sample on paper and threw it away immediately, then I had to take the trash out, because that note from the spritz was everywhere in the air in the room and I cannot stand it. Kind intentions doesn't have it I think and probably a few more but overall a no-no for me.

This was super helpful because I’m thinking of buying Mahni Cassonade, but it’s way pricier than Baklava Royale which was a blind buy for me based on the notes. I like it but I wish it was nuttier. There’s something in the dry down that bugs me. Perhaps it’s the amberwood or maybe it’s that pinchy note you’re describing. I think I’ll sample Mahni Cassonade first to be safe. Sounds like I may enjoy Vivamor fragrances more than Navitus!

I’m sensitive to that note as well and I’ve sold almost all of my Navitus fragrances because of it. Such a disappointment because I would like them otherwise.

I think most of these have massive doses of amberwood in them in order to help boost performance. It’s been a problem for me too with the handful I’ve tried. Great openings, super generic woody/fuzzy dry downs.

I got 4 Navitus and I haven’t been too impressed. They don’t last! Hoping that by letting it macerate, it’ll last longer. For an extrait, it’s pretty disappointing. Plus the customs charges 😢

The customs were bad when I ordered from them! In terms of longevity, I find them extremely long lasting but due to that sharp note so its not necessarily a good thing

I don’t get any croissant from Lost in a Dream; I really only get a Commodity Milk vibe. I can’t stand Ambrosia Imperiale. It smells like banana Laffy Taffy with a rich caramel sweetened condensed milk. I don’t get the saffron, unfortunately. Mahni Cassonade straight up smells like soy sauce. 🤢 I’m so upset that I don’t get the vanilla ice cream scent that everyone else seems to. Baklava Royale is incredible and that shocked me because I normally hate almond fragrances.

It’s too bad that Navitus has that terrible note. Amorous Intense overwhelmingly has that note to me and made me sceptic of all the influencers who gave it praise. I enjoy watching your content and am glad you called out that awful note.

@@TheScented I also don’t detect that note in Mahni Cassonade. I’m curious if that note is in gabby’s new melon kiss. I loved the opening of lost in a dream, but got that sharp note in the dry down. To me lost in a dream is a more exciting nuanced version of Milk by Commodity with a hint of the scratchy note. But it’s not a pronounced to me as it is in amorous intense.
