I received this fragrance yesterday. I really like it. I haven’t had a chance to smell the Commodity Milk line. Thanks for your review.

Merry Christmas Janelley-Pooh!!! My Christmas scent is....wait for it...DOUBLE DECADENCE!!! It has nothing to do with Christmas and everything to do with the fact that I am head-over-heels in love with it and just wanted that stunning fragrance to envelope me on the beautiful day!

To hear that Lost In A Dream is better than Commodity Milk in your opinion makes me want to get a decant. I’m not big on milky perfumes but all of the reviews on this fragrance have been great so far. Great review 😊

I succumbed - i confess I dismissed my goal. I need to do a full day wear, but my nose imagined a fluffy croissant. 😮 Update in the future, Janelle. I will add Bianco Latte to save my need for sweetness and Delizia. Will report at that time.

Yeah, the house base scent just didn't go with me. I was confident it would because I really liked their scent called Book a while back.

I don't think any of Navitus "gourmands" are actual gourmands. They are always adding the note Amberwood, which I think adds a pungent-woodiness that in some of the fragrances becomes overbearing. There is a gourmand-esque vibe to some of the fragrances I've tried such as Mahni Cassonade, Ambrosia Imperiale and Amorous Intense. But since I have not experienced a true gourmand moment with Navitus, I have concluded that when a KZreadr who has collabed with Navitus say's "gourmand", that more than likely it will be a let down to true gourmand lovers. I think if the KZreadrs stopped leading with calling their fragrances "gourmand" and reworded the description, people would probably appreciate the fragrances more.

I agree with this, they're not straight up Gourmand Fragrances like the foodie type which got me to look up the Gourmand category and the very first Gourmand on the market was Angel by Mugler in 1992. Super fascinating!

I am glad to read this comment because Navitus perfumes are so hyped out but when I read some of note like jasmine, amberwood,…I am not sure. I am deep heart gourmand lover and cannot stand flowery or woody notes. Navitus perfumes are also quite expensive so it’s risky to blind buy.

You are soooo right! I agree navitus rarely makes a true gourmand with exception to baklava, and maybe mahani. AI they kept saying was banana foster, um no, may as well buy banana banshee. I can go on but won’t, been very disappointed.

IMO Mahni Cassonade is such a thick sweet gourmand and I’m obsessed, I want a backpack bottle. However, I will meet you have way , as I do get the amber wood , cashmeran, musk. So to me I’ll call it gourmand but my expectations are different I guess. On the topic of Lost in a dream, totally reminds me of Commodity Milk .
