Fragrances have always been present in my Life from a very early age, from shopping trips with my Mother to gifts for all special occasions, I can't think of a single memory that isn't tied to a SCENT!🥰
I really like to deep dive into different perfume houses, wear test and review a week's worth of their Fragrances and share my results with you all !
My goal in the future will be to make it out of the closet eventually so I can show everyone my humble collection, so Welcome to my channel, I'm so glad you're here!!🤗

Thank you for a wonderful review! I ordered Brazillian Crush, Peaches and Cream, Pina Colada, Waffle Cone = all so good, very strong and Pina Colada lasts 10 hours! Waffle cone is super good!

I was so happy to find Vanilla Potion at Marshalls. I have a lot of vanilla body sprays and perfumes and I use Vanilla Potion to enhance them all. It blends so well with just about anything I wear … even my Cherry fragrances. So good🎉

I received the Wedding Silk Santal by Sugar Me Sweet. Letting it settle for 2 weeks before comment. Violet Plum Sugared Violets, which was instantly beautiful but also giving it some maturation time.
Very nice!!! I can't remember how long that had sat while waiting on trying them out, but yeah, most of them Are ready to wear immediately

I just saw they’re bringing this one back. I got a brochure from VS and it had the lil sample to smell. Omg I can’t believe I just got my nose on this one. Im running to VS Wednesday next week to get it.

Janelle buenas noches. After years of knowing about this parfum, I finally tried an inspired version. I can understand the BKR reference. It is light and a sweet-woody on skin, thus far, a skin scent. I will allow it to macerated and revisit. :) I enjoy the underlying sweetness but I cheated as I used a vanilla oil from CocoPink as a base ;)
This one I never got around to appreciating! I just tried one from Sugar Works, an interpretation of LV California Dream and it has the best clean Musk in the dry down!! It's called Pink Cali Dreams!!!🩷

It goes to a dark smell. I cant get into. Almaz is a pass for me. The opening is pretty nice. Its a summer spring opening then winter fall the dry down. Sucks it does this. Smells like a bath and body candle in the mid to dry down.
Is the soft oil or spray better? Which one last longer and is better projecting?

Isn't it crazy how they've claimed the Summer?! I don't remember past Summers being like this, but this year I can't seem to find the time to do anything but try and keep up! 😮💨 It's wild! Marshmallow is by far my favorite note to hunt down and indulge in for sure!! I'm glad you enjoyed watching! 🩷
I’m so sorry this is off topic, but I’m wondering if you can give me some insight into SugarWorks stuff. I loved the body mist and superparfum I got from them, but since most of those are out of stock, do you know how long their body oils last?🥺
Hi there! No worries, yea they're doing end of summer sales with limited stock , getting ready for their Fall releases. I don't usually wear the oils alone, I use them to layer with lotion or other perfumes. They are pretty detectable a good 6 hrs.

Does the scents last long?
Not on their own. I can detect the stronger ones for a good 6 hrs during the day, and all night, but to me they're just a great body care with a bonus scent benefit.
Such great picks! I'm awaiting my next 15 and I have to wait for another paycheck before I can order my full-sizes, my lotions, my body scrubs and my next 28 samples! I have a possible idea for another review video: I would love it if you could maybe grab samples on the ones whose names don't tell us what in them, like Roulette (own it), Warm and Cozy, Pink Lip Gloss (on my list), Citrine Crystal and Quarts (on the way), and other ones like that. It would be nice is DDSC would give a brief notes list underneath the titles, but until they start doing that, maybe you could be our go-to gal. :) Edit: Speaking of which, I just looked up the notes for "Moon Child". "A Blend of zesty grapefruit, decadent white tea, deep rose, and golden honey." Sounds a little bit like Imp and a whole lot like delicious!
These sure are exciting to discover! Still on No Buy July and I might just extend it for a while so I won't be purchasing anything new anytime soon, lol. I've got so much backed up to review in this closet, it's unreal, but exciting at the same time! 🤗

Rave omg when I spray it I sat there in shock for a minute.....it smells exactly like Burberry Her. I still can't believe it. I'm happy because I'm saving $ and I smell wonderful.

I am off work enjoying Stay-cation, took walk at 630 am and wore half my body in Casablanca and half in Kilian Moonlight in Heaven (rice note!). The heat allowed the parfums to radiate!!! Hyper bravo!!!!

TRES Leches has not soured on me and yes, I am getting my Dirty Soap Très Leches ASAP, along with a few others of the ones reviewed by you. Loved the journey into this brand. Muchas gracias!!!
Tres Leches just might be my introduction to DUA!! I am also enjoying the Lavender you sent over by DUA for nighttime!🤗 💕 Yesssss, this brand has been so much fun!! Much more to discover!
@janelle-scenttalkfrommycloset you know I can pick up certain chemicals in some Dua offerings, Janelle. I used to love Intoxicated Kilian DUA dupe, but I can detect a note that is a little too much of chemicals for me now.

Janelle, hola, buenos dìas. I am thinking of getting a 10 milliliter of Hard to Get (or 2!) As the full bottle remains unstocked, I was thinking Canvas Beauty must create a 🍋 gourmand glaze! I have had a few nights when I am watching something on MAX, and I smell a beautiful aroma, and it has been my application (post shower!) Of Red Velvet or the 🍓 🍰! Really, the base vanilla is something of beauty - particularly coming from someone who has a poor sense of scent!
Those body glazes are pretty great! Skin so smooth and the scents are delish! Hard to Get is very much worth having! 💛
Fire at will is my worst buy , for the price it’s not worth it at all.
Awww man, it is definitely more toned down. I hear the longer it sits the better. I eventually got a full bottle and am waiting on it to deepen.

Yesssss, it's always the things we can't have anymore that bring the strongest feels.😩 Like I wish I knew in that moment when I would have that experience for the last time and just savor it that much more. The Family time, the dessert, the celebration.🥰
You cried? 🥲 That is so sweet that a fragrance could evoke those kinds of sweet memories. Yes, I am LOVING DSSC!!! I have 37 samples already, 15 on the way, and I have another 28 on my list to purchase, so far. DEFINITE FB purchases will be Blackberry Jam, Papaya and Coconut, Boardwalk Taffy, Marshmellow Fluff...and I'm still trying to narrow my current samples into the "must haves". I am loving taking this journey along with you. Question: I've always kind of put milk notes into a more cool-weather category. I don't have a lot of experience with them. Is that accurate, or is that just something I made up in my head? Tres Leches Cake was one I put on my list and then crossed of (don't remember the reason), but now you've convinced me to put it back on. Thanks for another great review, Janelle!
Yesssss, it was so sudden! I sprayed it, thought mmmmm that's sweet, then all of a sudden I'm standing in that kitchen on my tippy toes getting a peak at the Tres Leches the night before Christmas. 🥹 It was amazing!! Oh my goodness, jotting down your must haves for samples!!! Yesss, this has been so much fun getting to try these together! For milk notes, I think as long as they don't have a really heavy sandalwood base or a dense undertone, then they fly year round. I would wear I matti milks note any day for example, Bianco Latte as well. 🤗 The tres leches might be cloying, but I only wore it indoors, so I'll try wearing it out for Science!😅
I see so many various niche houses for review but have you considered reviewing the Dua (or have in the past)? Also do you have a video where you compare all the houses and how they stack against each other ? Currently I really like Dua these are not very well known
Hi there! Just ran into you in a FB group! Lol. Welcome!!🤗💕 Yesss, we love to explore all different types of brands and scent profiles, but I am drawn to Vanilla and Gourmand Fragrances. I don't particularly compare houses to each other, they each have special qualities they bring to the fragrance world and my collection. Discovering new ones worth spreading the word on has been my favorite part of the channel though! I can give my opinions on how Fragrances compare to each other if I've tried from more than one house. 🤗
Also, have you tried CJ Scents? You can create your own scent with her ice cream, vanilla and fluff bars 🥹

How is Haus of Gloi?
Haus of Gloi is one of the houses I kept going back to. I really enjoy their bodycare and own a handful of their edp's. I think they're really unique and layer wonderfully! 🤗

Yeah, it happens sometimes. I remember feeling embarrassed, but then thinking I'm going to react differently if that happens again because these are my feelings and if a scent memory strikes, I can't control it, lol. One of the things that keeps me so interested in Fragrances is just that, finding the Fragrances that make me Feel all the things, happiness, sadness, nostalgia, special, delicious, comfort,confident or just plain refreshed and clean.😊 There is no shortage of emotions that a Fragrance can evoke.
I’m with you on not being able to get into the buttery notes. I know there are a few scents with a popcorn note that some people rave about and I’m just terrified of smelling like a hot buttered mess. Just walking around with people sniffing and looking for Orville Redenbacher 👴. I can get into the buttery cake and nutty notes in candles when fall rolls around or it’s cooler, but not to wear. That said, the tres leches 🍰 was in my big sample order, and I can’t wait to get my nose on it. The real thing is easily in my top 3 of cakes. A restaurant near me used to do a mango 🥭 tres leches that was amazing - mango blended into the whipped cream, little pieces of mango I’m the cake - just a creamy, mangoey dream. If I ever come across something that smells like that I’m immediately getting a big bottle, but for now I already have layering ideas to get close.
Not Mr. Orville!!!!!☠️😂 I know a lot of people that can get into them Pralines and Nutty tones for Fall Candles, I so wish I could! 😩 Now this Mango Tres Leches?! I can't even!!!🥭🫠 I honestly wasn't expecting the mist to perform like it did and it was so present, so I'm excited for the Extrait! Tres Leches for days!! Hope you Love it!

One day I burned a vanilla pistachio candle and liked it more than I thought and started to come around in general, but aside from almond that scent profile really had to grow on me. Same with caramels - in candles and fragrances I have a few that I do like but will probably have forever because they aren’t the first thing I reach for, especially if they’re dense.
I got along with Pistachios pretty much right away, it's some caramels and then sometimes undisclosed nutty notes, I swear they throw in some things that bother my senses. Learned very early on that I can't just go by the notes because every house has a different accord, it's super interesting!
Tres leches is my fave cake but for some reason the Dirty Soul Soap Co tres leches smelled a little too artificial for me. I let it macerate for a month and it just smelled like a candle vanilla 😔❤️🩹 Someone said Dua had a Tres Leches so I will try that one. I did love their sol de Janeiro dupes. They smelled even better than the originals but I can't find them on the site anymore.

I do find their Vanilla and milk scents to have that shea scent, but it was Gourmand enough for me for sure with that beautiful scent bubble. 🤗 Yesss, they say DUA has a delicious Tres Leches, I might have to try! I didn't see any Sol Janeiro's, darn, maybe they discontinued them.🥴
I am getting Très Leches 200% immediately! I had the Dua, which I love, but I am not passing on this particular one.

I have the Duas Tres Leches and it's one of my favorites!! Also by SMS the Sugar Cone is quite similar too
