West’s Lakers had Russell’s Celtics beaten in 1962 and 1969, and blew it both times. West would be top 5 All Time if he had won 3 titles instead of only 1. Same with Chamberlain. His teams were superior to Russell’s in 68 and 69. Somehow, Wilt found a way to lose both years. If Wilt had won just 2 more titles, he’s top 5 All time, and arguably right alongside MJ as the GOAT.

Iverson, pound for pound, is maybe the most skilled NBA player of all time. But he lacks accolades outside of his MVP and scoring titles. Some of it due to lack of help, but teams he was on actively tried to get him help, but he was unwilling to develop his game to make the team run more efficiently. He skipped practices and such, he did not take the responsibility of being a star player on a winning team.

There was no point to explain for MJ because he won 6 rings, 5 mvps, 6 finals mvps, 10 scoring titles, he was on all-NBA first team designations 10 times, 14 all-star games, 9 all defensive first team honors, three all-star game mvps, 3 steals titles, and 1988 defensive player of the year award, and he also won the 1988 dunk contest

Im actually curious about the best NBA players without any achievement at all. Like CJ McCollum and Jamal Murray - great players and considered "stars" but no title, no all star selection, no allstar weekend achievement etc. Do you know if there's a list?
