Can you do a ranking of Paper Jams bosses?

That feeling when a trio attack from Paper Jam takes longer than some of Superstar Saga's bosses.

I guess if you get to level 99 and fight Queen Bean, you could kill her with 1 attack and she gets ready to explode in like 15 seconds. How long would a Trio attack take? Like, 20 seconds? I didn't count.(also the Queen Bean time was a complete guess)

Yeah, It only took about 3 minutes in total to kill the final boss for me

Fun fact about the drop chopper, you can actually use it on spiked enemies and damage them while taking zero damage to yourself

:O, well that doesn’t change the ranking at all but it solidifies that the Drop Chopper is better than the Drill Shell

I'm so glad the Paper Jam Dropchopper has CIRCLE PAD controls, instead of tilting. This is basically the reason why I hate Dream Team Dropchopper.

Me personally it's vice versa cuz paper jams version is slower and harder to navigate. The tilt controls ain't that bad

Whirligig is my fav, so much fun to use, it may be slow but it is engaging. The 3D effect on it is pretty cool too!

Same except for cannonball chuck cause that one is hard

fun fact about trio attacks meteor is out damaged by kite for single target damage by wirlygig for multi target and is only good for "big" enemies who have a lot of "parts" when hammered (say both pokeys have 5 and king boo has 9)

@@ShroobInvader meteor is only actually good for big enemies and not all bosses are considerd big not to mention the fact whirlygig is consistent damage and many of those you placed low due to replacing them are still quite decent

15:43 theirs a easy mode for the attacks... i use it. Mostly on fire flower.

The trio kite is actually the best trio attack for single target damage

That makes a lot of sense

You don't have to mash that hard with the Trio Kite, just mash consistently to get over 1400 height And it's actually possible to take out all of the charging chuck brigade with one cannonball chuck (getting an S rank in the boss medley taught me that one shotting is the only way forward)

For the Trio Kite, I mean that is nice but I just don’t like Button Mashing In general, and for the Cannonball Chuck, I’m still not perfect at it, so if you can pull off hitting every enemy, well consider me impressed

@@ShroobInvader the trick is pulling up and pulling down when the shadow almost lines up with your target to get the excellent hit

I can barely get an excellent rank with Toad Trail because you have to move the circle pad ever so slightly no matter how sharp the turns are

My top 15 - 15 - Rocket Blast. Early Trio Meteor, which makes it either better as you have it earlier, or worse as you have only Red Shell as a good attack. 14 - Trio Meteor. Same reasons as you, but along with how you have so much other stuff that does the same, and earlier! Cannot even great! 13 - Toad Trail. Possible, single-target Trio Meteor. Still often 'croak' at it, though. 12 - Mega Thwonk. More possible Toad Trail. I like easy to execute, multi target, practical, mid game attacks. 11 - Trio Shuriken. Even though it may be better than whirligig, I just underuse it and find Whirligig more fun. It is not bad, however. 10 - 3D Red Shell. This and Shuriken were close, but this being way earlier edged it out. It is, however, inconsistent and unoriginal. 9 - Drill Shell. I can only get greats since I suck at button mashing, but it is more fun than the Red Shell. 8 - Trio Raquet. 3D Red Shell but less inconsistent and engaging! This, Drill Shell, #7 and #6 were really close, though. 7 - Fire Flower. Would have been much lower if I were younger. Then I wasn't good at reacting to the button changes. Now it's quite great! 6 - Balloon Burst. Similar to the Fire Flower, but the attack is satisfying and I learned the timing earlier. 5 - Bomb Derby. Fun, satisfying, and does burn damage! I sometimes mess up, but the fall over is funny. 4 - Trio Kite. The only exception to the 'one target attack is bad' rule. The button mashing is very lenient too. 3 - Cannonball Chuck. Once you learn the timing, that is. Very practical, very satisfying, and Luigi falling off makes it all better. 2 - Trio Whirligig. Easiness over damage, and still very engaging. 1 - Dropchopper. Easiest attack in the game to excellent, and never gets replaced. Very satisfying and just in time for the Charging Chuck CorpsE. Didja know the Dropchopper can hit spikes?

ATTACKS but go on. 0:38 That sounds like a you problem . 5:28-5:30 It's not Dropchopper though . 6:12-6:15 Cuz it's only the beginning of the game and you don't have much of a selection this early on? 8:19 Why the hell would you stop using the Fire Flower after getting Mega Thwonk? the're vastly different. The Fire Flower hits every enemy, with paper enemies taking critical damage and its super easy to perform, while Mega Thwonk hits ONE enemy (yeah it hits other enemies but not by much), doesn't do critical damage to anything almost, it ain't the easiest thing to get an excellent on and it DOESN'T WORK on spiny enemies, oh yeah i almost forgot, YOU GET IT AT THE END OF THE FU***NG GAME WHILE IT'S THE EXACT OPPOSITE FOR THE FIRE FLOWER. 9:32-9:35 "it's actually better than the Toad Trail in my opinion" says while putting Cannonball Chuck BELOW TOAD TRAIL. 10:41-10:45 Well that was unnecessarily harsh. 11:18-11:21 I mean, why would you use an attack that damages every enemy on a single target? 11:47 if the negative is so big, then why did you put Trio Kite on number 4? 12:30-12:35 I'm pretty sure every Trio Attack BUT the Trio Kite attacks every enemy, but you word it in a way in which it seems that only the Trio Meteor has that "problem". 14:07-14:21 Good for you? 15:20 ah yes paper is flammable, and did you also know that dogs bark and stations are stationary? Bonus: Take a shot of water everytime Elder says anykind of varation of: replace and useless (Rememeber: Stay Hydrated!)

The most useful use for trio meteor is vs shiny robobowser cause him countering it is more fun then the attack itself

late but here are my thoughts Toad trail would be lower because it is way to inconsistent balloon blast: has a very good niche for the final bowser phase since its luigi, you get a shit ton of critical hits, get luigi to hold the crit charge gloves, and watch your card battle points sky rocket, pretty much every ball hits bowser and also, considering its luigi's only really good aoe move (which is weird btw) I think it deserves to be higher

The second point is fair, the first point I’m so dang good at the toad trail that it doesn’t matter and yes it does take a bit of practice

Thank goodness they change the dropchoper in this game because I use citra which is a 3ds emulater I don’t have a 3ds with it because if they didn’t then idk how to use motion controls on a Xbox one S/X controller

Trio Meteor is so boring to use that I’ve rarely ever seen someone use it but why is it the last one you unlock and also isnt the last attack you unlock technically supposed to be the strongest one? But i like the inclusions of some bro attacks from dream team like dropchopper controlled with circle pad now

what i dont like about dream teams, paper jams, bros attacks of how long they take like there good but i like nice and short bros attacks like partners in time, bowsers inside story, superstar saga, there short but easy to pull off (maybe not all but you get the idea) but in dream team and paper jam they just make them longer like...to long but i will admit they are good attacks but i just prefer BIS, PT, SSS, cause there nice, short, and easy.

Fun fact, paper jam was the ONLY game I got all the *bros* attacks, what's a trio meteor

Am i the only one who prefers the fire flower in dream team compared to just mashing from the start
