Lillie is more of a new debuffer option. Especially for more f2p based players, aoe attack debuffing is hard to come by. She's basically a physical equivalent to Viola.

Yeah I see her being useful in gauntlet, trap + atk & satk debuff, healing, and a decent nuke. Good for team survivability and can cover the syncing role of some off meta damage dealers. I feel like I always run out of trappers and healers in gauntlet. Pairs nicely with Mina too for a F2P fairy team

Going after May first. Faves always get the attention 1st over meta for me

You really can't go wrong with a majority of them tbh. I just decided to pick favorites so Cynthia it is.

Then there's me who will never use any of these trainer lodge sync pairs in meta and just focused on Rosa cuz she was in the tutorial and already level 2 after the tutorial. So that slight head start was already an incentive to max her out first.

I've started on Cynthia, so I'll throw my chips in with her first. I like that it's a brand new Pokemon too, wish the others could say the same! Probably do Blue next and maybe Lillie as a debuffer. N would have been my first pick, but I don't have him, soooo ... maybe someday, maybe never, lol.

Really wish all these units were EX'able. I'd love to see a Toxicroak-colored Marnie or a Gastrodon (-W or -E, either would good)-colored Cynth. Lack of EX really kills the hype for the more Sync-focused damage dealers like Lillie, Marnie, or May. Speaking of May, I also wish we could choose to evolve the nfe's like Wailmer, Dewott, and Bulbasaur. In any case, I'm on the Cynth route first, and I'll decide btwn Blue and N after I get her to 100, lol. We've definitely had Speed debuffing supports (Regirock, Kabutops, Onix, Marlon), as well as crit buffs+speed debuffs on SS May, but this is the first one that combines crit buffs and speed debuffs w/ Acc and SpD buffs as well. I think the Acc buffs are going to be her main highlight though. Actually, was Karen going to be added to Lodge in the following month (October)? I don't really remember if it was Poce who said it or someone else, but if she comes to Lodge w/ a decently useful Murkrow, that might cut in line before Blue or N. Cynth might take more than a month to get to Lv 100 anyway.

Cynthia for me, good support and she's a favorite. Blue is next in line. I'll probably do the pairs with water type units last since I have too much water types.

Pidgeot being guaranteed free is now even better for new players since they can start working towards Exeggutor immediately

Would’ve gone for Cynthia, but I don’t have her OG. N is probably my second fav character from the bunch plus Sigilyph seems like a legitimately high tier damage dealer, so he’s my pick until a character I like more gets added.

when datamine happened I saw all kit and watched video where u were going over all 9 of them.... So i saw some dmg dealer's...supports... But what i really really need is SPEED... cuz in longer battle where u used up most good units LG) then u try to complete stage with kinda mid units thats where u need speed, i was so furious when my some team just cant make move cuz of guages... And i saw pep rally on blue's grid and immediately started interaction with blue 😅😅😅... Next is Cynthia

Personally I'm doing Cynthia because an extra Max crit buffer for gauntlet is pretty useful, she feels like budget Togepi, Exeggutor is also nice for gauntlet

Yeah I went with Cynthia 1st because favorite, but then going to go for units that are both good and favorites afterwards, plan is Silver next for me, then Rosa because ok she's important to Masters and not bad, then May whom I like and is decent, not sure after that aside from Marnie last... mostly because I don't have her, only one I don't have of these.

You confused Mind Swell with Satisfied Snarl. Mind Swell is to buff your own Sp Atk

I want more poison units in the game in general, i’ve been holding out for a SS Roxie with a toxtricity cause that’s a match made in heaven.

I like May and lot so going for May. Wanted to do Cynthia Gastrodon but...i don't have regular Cynthia so i can't do her(wish they considered alts too man). If Steven doesn't get added by the time i complete May then I'll go for N.

Going with Rosa because the Oshawott line is my favorite....

Since that many of my favourite characters are not available at the lodge right now and marnie is one of my faves but I can't invite her since iv been unlucky to get her original alt so at the moment iv been working to max my friendship with professor sycamore first untill I get another opportunity to get marnie and morpeko

Who to pick first? I would say that the characters with atack units while we get more sabotage and support candies, in my case i will begin with Bulbasaur and Feraligator the last ones will be the support ones because there are not much of these candies

Personally I think may is best. Those stats shown in game are 4 star level 140(or 50) j believe. Which means they get way more buffs to them at 5 star or even 6star level. With those buffs and SS Kris, may will hit pretty hard with surf.

I agree. He probably ranked May low because water is an oversaturated type. Wailmer is nearly as good as Non mega Swampert in terms of DPS.

Since N is my fav and Rosa is unova I got my first two picked out already and my N at lvl 8 rn

I have nidoking but I'm going Marnie because she is one of my favorite characters

Supports have absolute priority for me, thank good Cynthia and Blue are the best and most useful for me, because they're my favorite characters. I'm really disappointed with May, Silver and Rosa. I mean, yeah they're OK, but we don't need more Water strikers. Lillie however is just straight up bad, like what the heck? Could have been a nice Support like Cynthia and Blue.

Cynthia is easily higher than N because N is majorly outclassed even in F2P by Mewtwo. Hypnosis is good but with that speed, u ain't sleep chaining anyone. Cynthia is another F2P crit buffer and while we have been getting a lot of them, they are still far more useful than a lot of other units.

Im new so i really only have the free units and may to choose from 😩

Personal opinion: Blue’s great for monotype; N and sycamore are fine secondary dps; Cynthia’s a useful partner for ghetsis; rosa and silver are fine utility/physical water pairs; may is more useful for gauntlet as you would probably be using her default for water weak master mode; and Lillie and Marnie are less useful as other pairs fill their roles.

@@PreciousLeaf Yeah I was hoping they'd do it ever since she wasn't included in the Kanto villain arc last year, give her shiny Mewtwo X. You're right though at least she got her personality. If she is added to Trainer Lounge what do you think she'd get? I know Green has Blastoise, they are 2 completely different characters, but maybe that or Squirtle.
