I always forget that Skyla started as a 3 Star. She's honestly one of the best units in the game still. F2P, great bulk and team support, one of the first 3 Star EXs, she's great!

Easily, the only one I run as much is Blue and Blastoise, but I only run him on water teams or with his fellow Pallet Town people, aside from that Skyla, she works with any and every team, Hop and Zamazenta might replace her after their 6 star though, even then people shall still fear her and her not so ugly duckling.

Even with all these new support units, I still consider Skyla one of the best. It's just crazy how even though we get her so early for free, with meta ever-changing, power creep still rising, she is still awesome in her job. Great buffs, top potion user, she can even deal respectable damage from sync and so on. My biggest complaint with her is to find a team where she doesn't fit. Not counting challenges where you have to use units from a specific region, of course. :D

I remember dumping all my first 3* and 4* powerups all into Clay, good times~

Priority order - 3star with grid -> 4star -> 5 star then do the same for 4 stars. Because 3 star units get more stats boosts going from 3 to 5 than 4 star ones. Though, roughly a year's worth of playtime should be enough to get all 3 stars to 4 and about half of them to 5 stars considering we are getting a lot more tickets than we did back in the day.

I recommended use 3/4 star power up to : 3 star unit that able to EX (For Prof. Oak better up to 5 star or better at 4 star) 4 star unit that have grid and useful for certain situation.

I think that Misty & Starmie should be on ASAP. Sp. Def buffers are uncommon and she's good on her own right. It's not like you can use Sycamore multiple times on Master Mode.

I remember my first 4 star -> 5 star powerup was Shauntal, and my first 3 star -> 4 star was Skyla. They were my original story playthrough team together with Rosa back when I started shortly after launch.

I just started playing for a month, and I absolutely love Lillie Lunala + Morty Mismagius, very brutal xD

He does buff his defenses through his trainer move + Toughen Up/Tighten Up, along w/ Unbending/Stalwart, reasonable Def/SpD stats, and even Synchro Healing as an option, so he's not exactly bad at tanking.

That 10 sync pair ticket event gave me just enough tickets to get everyone to 4*, even Norman

I've been part of the game long enough and gotten so many tickets that all my 3*s are 4*s. Not counting eggmon. Got enough 4* tickets to raise 16 out of 58 to 5*, at the moment anyway. Might prioritize those with grids, but c'mon DENA, give the rest of them grids. Even if they're cut and paste BP grids, give it to them.

How do I farm 1& 2 star power ups? I have a shiny kabutops from an egg that came out able to be leveled up to 140. But it's a 1 star I know right now the only way to get 1nstars is egg research vouchers. But can I progress from there or am I stuck with a 140 2 star tops

Barry carried me tru more than one and a half year, until i get 2/5 May. His sync is amazing and can be squeezed in a plethora of teams since he has a one and two bar move, i'd put him above Oak tbh.

Something to note is Iris and Haxorus were really good, Poce doesn't mention but even he really liked her after she got her grid, she was easily the best dragon free unit, possibly the best dragon unit in general next to Sygna Cynthia who released around the same time as Iris' grid if I remember correctly. That is until Rayquaza and Palkia got grids, personally I think she's like Barry, you don't have any options she's an ace, you got better options sorry Iris.

Clair I'd say the same, but depends on if you want special vs physical, Kingdra or Haxorus.

Game gives out so much 3 star dupes I have maxed out all of the 3 stars to 4 stars.. I am surprised you put Pikachu so low it's pretty good for me especially in fighting Tornadus in legendary arena.

I recently got all my 3 stars to 4 star. So now I can use all the 3 star power-ups for whatever I want, which is cool.

Yeah Lucy is much better than Jessie, even if she isn't technically free, pull just one, really Brycen is a no? What about all he did for Mewtwo when it 1st came out, he's still useful in some legendary battles too... HOW DARE YOU, just wait and see, after Tyranitar finally gets its mega, after it and Slaking get its grid, it'll be Godzilla vs King Kong up in here slapping things even Groudon and Kyogre around. Jokes aside I see a lot of potential with them, Cheryl too, Slaking and Blissey if they ever get grids and EX will be monster tanks. Edit: My lord Arceus I fear the day Whitney's Miltank gets EX and sync grid, I forgot about her.

@@Zobie2game How many units have you EX'd btw? Just wondering b/c it's the first time I've heard someone run out of spirits. And also to kind of guage how I'm doing in terms of the frequency of my EX'ing, I guess, lol. Not that it matters too much. I've EX'd 30 of my units so far, but I've never really felt the need to exchange b/c I've never had a lack of spirits. I have 353 spirits currently. So I personally still value the 5☆ Power Ups more.
