I think you're right about Goblin Slayer in the sense it could use a bit more gore again, but I don't think the more lighthearted route season 2 took is bad per se. It's always been more down to earth, none of the characters are really overpowered and they could all just die. I like the growth Goblin Slayer is experiencing, I think it's still at least A tier. Also Kusuriya no Hitorigoto(Apothecary DIaries) is S-tier and you should still watch it

Light novel is good, manga is phenomenal. The anime was so so, didn't get how they could mess up the character designs when they had the manga to draw from and clearly had a sizeable animation budget.

Frieren is definitely god tier, the last few arcs feel like they're becoming even better than the beginning somehow. literally god tier characters too, Himmel, Eisen, and Heiter feel like the sort of characters that will never be forgotten. For characters with so little "real" screentime, it's absolutely insane.

Apothecary Diaries went so hard for no god damn reason. I had been actively ignoring it for half the season because nothing about it grabbed my attention. Then youtube shorts showed me a few funny moments so I decided to check an episode out, and I wound up catching up in an afternoon. Shit had me hooked.

Apothecary diaries had a huge fanbase before the anime with the Web novels, the light novels and the mangas. And the anime was really well done (I've just read some ep from the manga)

Frieren has to be my favorite anime of all time, I was always looking forward to the next frieren episode more than the next jujutsu kaisen one

Frieren is pretty good yeah. Was actually quite surprised by it. Buuut without any recency bias involved it doesn't even make it into my top 20. I mean there are just way too many masterpieces out there which are actually finished. Both old and new. It just doesn't stand any chance. It's biggest weakness is that it isn't even done yet or hasn't reached far enough into the story. Here's my top 10 example. 1. Gintama 2. HxH 3. Monster 4. AOT 5. Legend of the Galactic Heroes 6. FMAB 7. Fate Zero 8. Monogatari series 9. Cowboy Bebop 10. Kaguya-sama

@@togachan5081 Yeah this is the most correct opinion. Frieren reminds of many anime that are simple but attractive, and get extremely popular FAST. But don't exactly stick because they are just not among the many "masterpieces" out there. Last season was Oshi No Ko. Before that it was SpyxFamily. Now it is Frieren. It won't even come CLOSE to shows like Re:Zero, Monogatari, AOT, Vinland Saga, etc etc. It's just not THAT good. But it's still enjoyable. Just hate it when an enormous amount of people who only like those extremely popular shows come out and claim it's a masterpiece.

Migi to Dali was a hidden gem in the fall season. It has the weird humor of sakamoto desu ga but also manages to tie in some mystery and emotional elements. Also it's a complete story with a satisfying ending in just 13 episodes, which is pretty rare for anime.

I really enjoy the Returner's Magic anime, I would give it an A or S tier (even without being paid by them). The Faraway Paladin Season 2 was also pretty good, I was surprised you missed it. Especially the second half of the season was great, so here I would give it an A tier.

100 GF is gonna be a legendary show that people aren't gonna forget like some of the other forgettable rom coms that have come out. Good animation, hilarious humor, crazy plot, wholesomeness, fanservice, easily top tier anime.

i dont think AD is suitable for everyone, it does have a slow pacing like Freiend but it also has some mysteries involved, most related to medications/health cases. Im here just for the slow burn romance.

I will agree that Goblin Slayer S2 is not as good as S1. But I will also admit that I didn't really mind the show becoming more of a slice of life. yes, it kind of lost its identity as a grimdark fantasy series, but the show is about Goblin Slayer learning to become more human. and they do still show the dark, edgy moments we've come to expect from the series, it was just pushed out of the way for that boring Elf Wedding arc. but we got to see Cow Girl in a bikini because of that, so I guess it balances out

Never seen your videos before but this sht was hilarious. The Kanye joke almost killed me.

I liked Shy, The last arc was great! For me Frieren, Apothecary and 100gfs were clear God tier. Girlfriend Girlfriend was also great. Tearmoon, Mahoutsukai no yome s2p2, S-Rank musume, Hoshikuzu Telepath and 16 bit sensation were also great, defo all A or B tier.

I started off not enjoying it but it was definitely a grower.

This fall was stacked I’ve enjoyed it so much more than I was expecting (100 gfs,Undead Unluck, In Love with the villainess, apothecary, Frieren, Eminence, SpyxFamily, and Goblin slayer

The Eminence In Shadow is God tier for sure every second from that anime is pure entertainment u cant ask for more than that.

In 100 Girlfriends Episode 12, the protagonist did not really get dirty with Hahari even the sequence was really suggestive. It was just Hahari trying to put the girly outfit on him, which is why the other girls rushed in to catch them and but only to find Rentarou cross-dressed. I read the same chapter in the manga and it seems the anime made this sequence extra dirty. In any case, this anime is just too funny and wacky to be just an A-tier for me. It's a 9/10 (S-tier) for me. My personal anime of the season is Pluto.

One explanation I found sensible about your question is that high school is the greatest common factor for anime audiences. Take workplace for example, students who do not have workplace experiences would not be able to relate to that setting. Hence, anime rom-coms usually take place in high school.

ngl I do not know how you are not in jail for not watching apothecary diaries... so listen this is my pitch personalized specifically for you: a girl dies (she gets kidnapped) and then she gets isekaied (she gets transported and sold off into the palace). in this isekai world everything is a bit different but also just the same as in her old world - but most importantly this isekai world belongs to the giga-harem-lord. he literally has like more than 100 girlfriends (+ 1 attractive guy that is probably secretly his son or so - but whatever floats your boat I am not going to judge). and also DRUGZ. also the main character just watches stuff and comments on it a lot in her head and sometimes shares her thoughts with the public (if she thinks they are acceptable enough). (so she is just like you fr) as you swear you read every comment you kinda have no excuse not to watch it now

I have to say the show that surprised me the most was Faraway Paladin season 2. The whole season made me so nostalgic for old school great fantasy stories. Season 1 was alright but season 2 really pulled me in. I loved it.

100Gfs is easily worth an S-Tier in my opinion for how well written and fun it is for such an insane premise, and one of the best, if not the best of the harem genre. There are no losers in this harem in the sense that every girl gets to be with the MC (no competition) and the MC himself is also not a cringy loser type person, and you can see his sheer commitment with how he genuinely cares for every single girl, and knows what to do and say to make them as happy as possible. That plot twist and the sprinkle of 4th wall breaks are freakin hilarious as you really dont see it coming at all. The subs and jokes are also on another level with references that really suit western audiences. Many people seem to be turned off by the title alone for how ridiculous and de-gen it sounds, but they're missing out on such a gem. The manga I heard also takes its sweet time as more characters enter the show. The anime can literally can go on for a decade before reaching all 100, which I genuinely hope it does for how entertaining it is, lol.

A returner's magic should be special is a Great Anime, one of it's best qualities is that the source material is finished so no waiting around, and further ahead the story is actually pretty good, highly recommended S Tier.

The fact that the last few episodes of frieren has elevated it alot as a show. I would say it's perfectly rated.

Okay, I am actually surprised because in my opinion Shy was really fine, I mean nothing special, but it was a good quality anime, it delivers what you are expecting from this kind of anime.

Echidnut is like that one guy at school, who is a literal genius but lazy. Echidnut is certainly not smart(ig), but he has a good sense of humour and post when he needs money to pay the rent.

I get what you mean not knowing if frieren deserves #1 on MAL, I mean fmab was even my first anime, but idk I just love it so much. it also seems that pretty soon (~ep 19?) the story is gonna start getting a lot more interesting (not that it wasn't already amazing). I think in my personal opinion frieren is the best anime ever made, it just has literally 0 flaws I can think of, though it is great in a completely different way than fmab, so it's really hard to compare the two. We'll see I guess I just love the characters, the setting, and the whole premise, it's so fresh and new while being animated by extremely talented artists, and every time I watch an episode it genuinely feels like I'm in a different world

I dropped Spy x Family around the introduction of the family dog. The premise got me hooked but then I realized the story will conclude at a snail's pace (if at all). Each episode felt like a filler with little to no story progression. It's like a 90s sitcom.

Frieren was very hard to watch.. I had to take screenshots every few seconds of the very beautifully drawn scenery.

Eminence in Shadow was defo one of the best anime of fall imo. Obvs not on the level of Frieren and JJK, but still very entertaining and had one of the craziest finale's !

personally 100 girlfriends is S tier just because how amazingly well it does EXACTLY what it's supposed to be. A weird ass romantic comedy. I have never seen or heard of any kind of story in which the main character thanks the ghost of the dead husband of his girlfriend's mother for providing him with TWO great girlfriends, because he's taking both of them.

"Unemplyed" got me 😂
