Love from South Africa 🇿🇦! Please give Koeksisters a try they are kind of like a sweet syrupy donut. We also have cape Malay koeksisters (koesister) which is made with cardamom, aniseed and mixed spices much like our Indian spices, it is friend and then dipped in syrup and covered in coconut!
