I'd say I have a very controversial opinion on Osimhen and he should be on the stay away list for us, he's got a track record in injuries (we really don't need that), he's had a dip in form (low confidence), he costs 110 mil so he's going to have an insanely high amount of pressure on him to perform, historically speaking all of our 60 mil+ purchases could arguably all be labelled as flops if not players who have been underwhelming. Would rather have a young tall striker with a 50-70 mil price tag brimming with confidence and with a good track record of staying fit.

He's only been injured a bit this season , he has bag goals in the last 5 season , that's consistency , Napoli has been bad this season which has led to dip in numbers for him not form , and the same goes for everyone in Napoli , OSIHMEN is the most hungry striker on the planet right now ,scores all type of goals ,chase down lost cus ,he carries the team more than the team carries him , with d number of chances Chelsea has lost this season, we will be in top 2 right now

No way Isak signs for us. His team is in Europe and has finished ahead of us now potentially twice.

Ollie Watkins is 28 not 24 but I would love him at Chelsea

I think the best fit Nkunku can do is probably 10 to 13 goals. He isn't really showing that much in preseason. His best performance this season is against liverpool

I just want someone who can be at the right place at the right time and someone who can finish those tap-ins. How many more games would we have won if our goals scored would’ve been closer to our x/G?

Alexander Isak is the best option available in my opinion, if those FPF problems of newcastle are true we can sign him below 100m he es an excellent striker, good on the ball, good finisher, young, agility, speed, he is perfect fit

the more i’ve watched Toney this year, i just feel like he’s perfect for us. imagine him with palmer & nkunku in attack, they would compliment each other so well. for me it’s no surprise he hasn’t had the greatest season when he doesn’t have great forwards to link up with. he’s also a bit older and could definitely teach jackson a thing or two

Guirassy has a RC of less than 20m, Sesko didn't start for most of the season, so most of those appearances have come off the bench until last month or so and Watkins is 28, not 24 years old. Also, every manager has a system, except ours, so same issue with every striker.

Toney is the most realistic option and the best. He’s prem proven which we need, experienced which we need, won’t cost upwards of £60m and has an incredibly well rounded game suited to leading the line for Chelsea. He’s the closest thing to Drogba and Costa available here and personally to me it’s a no brainer. Isak, Kane and Watkins are just unrealistic, Gyokeres and Osimhen are gonna cost you twice as much and I think have way more bust potential tbh.

Striker wanted with 3 years of consistency at the top from the top 5 European leagues. Age must not exceed 29 years.

We need 2 strikers so I'd say Gyokeres and keep Lukaku. Ofc Isak is amazing and he would account for everything Chelsea needs in attack, if we can buy him. I am not ready to hear we paid 130+ millions on Osimhen, Kane, Lautaro or Toney for them to get injured or not play well. We have players that play bang average in midfield and Palmer had a great season, but I'll not put him next to Essien, Lampard or Ballack, yet. With that in mind no striker in the world right now would be a certainty for us. So i'd say do not buy anything expensive cause everything IS a gamble for us right now. In my opinion we need to build a team that can handle a 0-0 draw with anyone and go up from there. That is Chelsea's identity.

Isak as a main striker & Jackson connection could be ❤

Kane would be a terrible signing. Not only would he be insanely expensive, but whenever he joins a team he completely changes how they play. Hence why Bayern r so bad this year. He causes the whole team to play around him which would only hinder Palmer, nkunku, and madueke. We should build the team around Palmer.

If I were to choose next season's striker I would look solely to proven and professional strikers who have developed great positional awareness and are clinical in front of goal. I think the club should stay away from players of 25 years old or younger from any league outside of the Premier League and Bundesliga. Harry Kane and Ollie Watkins are ideal fits for me. Let's now bank on a great end of the season, KTBFFH! 💙

I definitely agree with you Goarge on Nunez he'll explode for he's still raw if there's any chance of signing him let's sign him for Chelsea then let's go for it, for me he's potential is higher than Harland especially in the current project

Nunes is that nickolas bentner kinda level even tho bentner on his day was absolute gem.

Watkins, Isak and Ivan Toney would be my preferred choice in that order (striker we get should be PL proven to reduce adaption time) Watkins for me the best player in the league at the moment, age does not matter as well since Jackson will eventually come good (10 goals in 1st season is not bad). Only issue here is convincing Villa to part ways with Watkins. Isak has adapted to the PL quite well (struggled in the begining) his age and price tag fits our squad. Toney would lead the line well at chelsea and his link up play is fantastic. Sort of like a playmaker and striker wrapped in one. Not as exciting as the forst two options but will get the job done. We should definitely try to sell Lukaku to get these players but I'm also not opposed to using Lukaku in the team, part of me still believes Lukaku can be a good striker for us.

Rodrigo muniz from Fullham. Premier experience and much to develop.

Our coaching and playing style is another thing to consider buying a striker.

For me as a swede the dream would be to sign either Isak or Gyökeres. Both are really good and i’m leaning towards Gyökeres because i hope Ruben Amorim will become our new coach

IMO: 1. Isak (amazing talent, for me the best young striker talent itw right now) 2. Kane (only issue is that he is getting a bit old and pricey) 3. Watkins (in great form, used to the prem, quite cheap)

I do look at arsenal and their eddie nkhetiah, he is such a talent but keeps sitting on the bench there. He’ll surely look for a move in the summer and i think it could be cheap ish to get him (I would prefer Watkins or Toney tho)

Isak is awesome, but Newcastle surely won’t sell. They’ll sell others, but not him. Toney for me, makes sense. He’s proven, he’s a great target man, he’s fast, strong, intelligent. Great at bringing others into play. Great in the box. I don’t see many question marks. I’m not saying he’ll bag 25 goals, but I think he would fit well in our team.

It's got to be Toney surly, price shouldn't be too bad with other clubs loosing interest and he wants a move.

Without CL football I reckon Kane and Osimhen should be in the unattainable category J. David is who we need.

Would agree on most apart from Isak. I genuinely think he is a world-class striker already. He links up very well and generally fits right into Jackson's position as he also drifts towards left. For me, he is a superior option over Osimhen as Newcastle, in case they have to sell him, would be fine with 100 mil for him - 30 less than Osimhen, who is not proven in PL.

Apart from Bruno, they don't have any juicy assets to be sold and are obliged to pay 28-35 mil for Lewis Hall at the end of this season. Still many ifs, but if we find ourselves splashing a lot, Isak should be our 1st or 2nd choice depending on how even possible Kane signing is.

Isak or gyokeres would be the way to go for me! Isak purely for his finishing and composure in front of goal. Gyokeres again for his finishing in front of goal and also played in the championship/coventry who are a good side from what we’ve seen over the weekend. I’d be happy with either of these two, anyone else would be a let down.

Man I'd love to see David at Chelsea, mostly because I'm Canadian (though obviously there's another Canadian I'd prefer to see here) but I know there's a few better options. He has been great over the past few years in France though.

Solanke would be my shout, premier league proven and would most likely be on the cheaper end compared to most strikers in world football right now. I feel the gamble of going for strikers who play in leagues abroad isn't worth the risk as it hasn't really worked out since Diego Costa.

Sesko is a softie , who has decent goals in bundesliga , but vanished in important tournaments like the champions league . While osimhen is someone , who is an established player , who has won the scuddeto in SerieA the second hardest league in the world, someone who has been praised by , Drogba , John obi mikel and even Jose mourinho now . Someone who has been consistent with his stats for a long team , even winning the best teenager in the U-17 fifa world Cup, getting 10 goals and 2 assists in 7 matches. 8th in ballon dor. People saying his stats this year aren't good enough, check again, he has 16G/A in 21 matches in the league ,that toowith a npoli team who don't give him the ball at all ,their defence and midfield is atrocious, so is their GK ,andkavara is too selfish , he has the most shots on target in the league,with very few goals. , how can you expect osimhen to score, if you don't give him the ball?? You decide who is the guy .

My view is that the priority for the summer shouldn't be getting more players. A lot players at Chelsea are or have potential to be premier league level. For this reason the focus should be selling the right players and getting the others ready for the season. There is absolutely no reason to bring even more players and chaos to a team already lacking team chemisty.

Explain to me how Jonathan David is exciting but... yet Vlahovic and Dovbyk are gambles despite the fact they're both putting up good numbers in a more competitive leagues? Lol.... Come on George, use some logic with your picks.

Watkins is 28 yo. Best signing will be Toney or Isak. Gyokeres will be a gamble he is playing at Portuguese league.

Gyokeres is the one to go, arsenal is not getting him since they cant pay the 100m release clause. Osimhen will for sure go to psg since mbappe goes to madrid. So the real option for us is gyokeres, and if we get amorim, who knows how to get the best of gim, its over.

If Poch stays, Harry Kane is the most perfect choice, almost a no-brainer really and may be they will break the curse with Chelsea together

Should have mentioned that Gyokeres was Coventry’s top scorer in the Championship so he is used to English football. Best option to be honest after Kane.

What’s this narrative about Vlahovic being injury prone? Assuming he plays in 2 of Juventus’ final 5 Serie A games, he’ll have played in 30+ Serie A games in 4 of his 5 seasons since becoming a full-time senior player, and in the one season that he didn’t he still played 27 games which isn’t awful for your most injury-riddled season. I think he should be our top target if we can’t get Osimhen… he’s only 24 and unlike so many of these other guys mentioned, he has a proven track record instead of just potential. I think he would cook with us and if that €65M price tag is accurate I think it’s a steal. Gyokeres scares me because he’s playing only his first season in a top flight league at the age of 25 (compared to Vlahovic, who at one year younger is playing his 5th)… and yes he’s tearing it up in Portugal but as you said George, the Premier League is a big step up in competition and I’m not confident it’ll translate

How is Kane ideal? is it just rank the striker? not as a signing cause there's no way kane would leave bayern sooner

We are terrible defensively as a team, our attacking system is very poor....we need sign at least 3 or 4 attacking forwards

Get in Gyokeres or Watkins if we can, or just not buy anyone else. The last thing we need is a gamble on another injury prone player.

I strongly disagree with you about solanke, he's experienced in the prem, rarely injured, with the amount of chances we create for nicholas jackson, I think solanke is the type of striker that we need, because he's more of a goalscorer. I'd put him in exciting.

For me Icardi is a proven finisher and yes he failed at Inter Milan but hes cheap and will for sure score alot of goals. Goncalo ramos for PSG could be another option. They dont use him that much and imo hes a great striker depends on the fee.

I love Victor Gyokeres because I feel he is a fighter, very powerful finisher, strong, plays like Jackson which is very Important to the way we play at the moment. He is very Ideal and he also somehow knows English football. He will fit in quickly.

I would sign Callum Wilson as a nr 3, if Nkunku is injured he is nr 2 behind Jackson, and if Jackson doesn't play well, well then you have a clinical striker with all the experience to fill that void. We keep Callum untill Nkunku is back on his feet, if there are still issues....?Yes then we sell him, and get somebody world class to be our nr9. By then we should be out of the clear with FFP and should be back in Championsleagues Football!! Let's go you blues!

I like your Ideal List but I think Osimhen is too expensive and not EPL proven, would be great if the powers that be go after any of the other three. No to Darwin, Jackson will find his feet, what we need is a poacher who can clean up after him or two current players running in behind him.
