I feel the bridge of her songs is very cathartic and that's what makes her songs very relatable and makes you feel things, Agree with you, Nena, Sending Love, Bestie ❤️

My favourite song is ivy. It's one of the most poetic songs ever. My fav line is:- the old widow goes to the stone everyday, but i don't i just sit here and wait, grieving for the living. It's also the most confusing lines in the song that changed my perspective on the storyline.

I also just relate so much to your experience/ connection to Taylor’s songs. I remember the first time I heard Mean as well. I’d been listening to her debut and fearless at a very young age just in complete awe of Taylor dressing up like her and putting concerts on for parents with the songs. But I can pin point something completely changing in me when she brought Speak now out and hearing Mean for the first time. I felt myself become so much more comfortable with myself at a young age and every time I listen to it now when I’m feeling lost it still has the same effect.

Hello! I just found your channel and I am absolutely in love with how you really focus on creating tutorials for the live versions especially of Taylor’s songs. It may be a shot in the dark, but I’m really hoping you can help! I’m desperately wanting to learn how she plays Welcome to New York, her acoustic version that she did at the Amazon Prime Day concert! I’m fairly new to the guitar so it’s not as easy to try and figure out the chords but I am so absolutely in love with this version. Is there any chance you could help with this one? I feel like it’s the only time she’s performed WTNY live? Anyway, thank you so much for your amazing work and for sharing it with all of us out there trying to learn guitar on our own! Thank you!!!! Majority of my top 10 is from Taylor’s first few albums. I have been a fan since she came out with Tim McGraw. I resonate more with her country days. My favourite time periods went from Taylor’s first debut album all the way till 1989. I had all the albums in my drawer in elementary and Highschool back in the day haha. The songs I like best from her newer music is Cornelia Street, Death By a Thousand Cuts, and Willow. My all time favourite song by her is “Fearless” from the fearless album.
