The Collector is my favourite Owl House character! And you're right about how he's NOT truly a villain, just a lonely and misguided kid who wants friends, and he only became an antagonist due to tragic circumstances that were not really his fault 😢Seeing Luz show kindness towards him and help him learn and grow - like a big sister - was so cute and moving to watch! I would have liked to see more of him bonding with her and others on screen. Fortunately, Dana Terrace HAS confirmed that he revisits a lot, and during the epilogue everyone at Luz's party is happy to see him, so we can gather that, for the most part, he has earned trust and forgiveness, and finally has friends and a family who love and care for him! ☺

I think whats interesting is that a lot of these villians are somewhat limited in scope because its a kid show. Like the Core could've easily went full borg mode and start trying to control everyone, but they probably couldn't do that cause yknow, kidshow. So they probably just settled for the robot army for the time being. Its still great what they managed to do with the villians in spite of the restrictions, but i think they could've done more if some of these shows were less family friendly cartoon shows like invincible or something.

I’m not sure if the collector was even planned before the show was cut. Also, does anyone else wonder if Alex using his Bill voice for king and him teaching the collector who is basically an innocent version of Bill morality what’s up in the crew was going for

I would love for you to cover villains from Ducktales 2017, another great disney show. It has so many major villain that it could really be it's own video (or even two videos, one covering the recurring one, Glomgold the Beagles and Beaks and the other covering the seasons main villains, Magica Lunaris and Bradford). After the Core woke up from reprogramming itself it could have shown to be annoyed and comment that no matter how much it reprogrammed itself Marcy’s personality still influenced it

Of you do a protagonist ranking, Dipper and Mabel count as one. They are twins, they are made from the same organic matter, they're an item. The whole point of Mabel land was they realized they function better together

I find kinda weird how you rank these. It makes it seem like the stronger a villain is, the better they are as a villain, and that only intimidating villains can be good villains. I think the categories are good, just the way you use them feels wrong I do agree with you when it comes to The Core though. It felt really underused in the show, and Darcy was just kinda strange Also they are not called The Collectors but The Archivists. A common misunderstanding too is that season 3 was supposed to take place on Earth, it actually wasnt, and was just something they came up with once the show was cancelled. They knew about the cancellation about in the middle of season 2, so they restructured the rest of s2 to be much more story-based to account for the cancellation

I feel you forgort to mention How Big of an impact it had that Gideon was the one, to summon bill, as one of his actions

If you watch to the part about the collector, the part of Edith dream I believe that’s not the collector I believe that’s one of his siblings playing with Eda curse I watched the show and it does sound like the collectors voice, but I’m putting it to one of his siblings

Ok so, one simple thing, collector aint comparable to bill, according to my knowledge collectors most raw feat is him movin the moon, which is cool but when compared to bill one shotting THE CONCEPT OF TIME AKA TIME BABY WHILE SUPRESSED BY THE BARRIER defo puts him way beyond the collector in terms of scaling.

33:18 I don't recall any mention of the collector being weak to titan magic, so I thought the collector was just not very durable. So that would still make Bill Cipher the more powerful, as his physical form is clearly really durable. After re-watching The Owl House Season 3, I can confirm the collector is weak to Titan magic.
