Bought this album on vinyl today, haven't heard it in a while, and i still love it a lot. i got obsessed with Good Mourning/ Black Friday for a time, such a great song... My favorite of this album is definitely Bad Omen, the bass line of Ellefson is pure gold, and also the lyrics are pretty good. The Conjuring is awesome too, i love how dark the lyrics are in the "I am the devil's advocate" part

Great to hear from you! I love The Conjuring a lot, and it's nice to hear some real love for Bad Omen, which rarely seems to get a mention among Megadeth fans. 🎃👊

Interesting choices, mine would be something like - 1. Wake Up Dead, 2. Black Friday, 3,. Peace Sells, 4. Devil's Island, 5. The Conjuring, 6. My Last Words, 7. Bad Omen, 8. Good Mourning, 8. I Ain't Superstitious. I actually prefer So Far, So Good - I'm hoping for some sort of box set of that to compliment the Peace Sells box at some point

Hey there - thanks for your own list! Great stuff. Basically with Peace Sells, any list is right, as long as it doesn't have the cover song at Number One. 🤣 I'm a fan of So Far... too.

Back when I had this album on a burned CD with no track listing on it me and my friends where convinced “devils island” was actually “Nevils Eyelids” 🤣🤣🤦‍♂️ good times

I Ain't Superstitious Apologies for taking a fortnight to watch your latest vid but life has been a bit mad lately. I'm counting Good Mourning and Black Friday as one track, those two belong together like The Hellion/Electric Eye by Priest. This wasn't easy to choose. H from Acid Reign did a run through commentary thingy for Patreon a short while ago, I'm wondering if you've heard this? 🤔

Peace sells is an absolute classic.....but the megadeth album that to me stands out as a unique sound in a good way is youthanasia. All the tracks are bangers I think that classic rust in peace line up had solidified and it's by far my favourite megadeth album. Even the artwork is genius. Have you ever read mustaines autobiography. The first 100 pages or so are really good.....but by the 5th time he's in rehab before getting hooked again into the studio gets a bit samey. The conjouring is by far my favourite song on the album closely followed by devil's Island.

Great stuff, Barney - thanks for your own thoughts on Peace Sells! Great that we agree on the big Number One. I actually haven't read Mustaine's book yet, but keep meaning to!

I was thinking playing off Good Friday Conjuring is my #1 also and top 3 metal.
