Cool but........ Avram Grant was the Chelsea manager from 20 September 2007 - 24 May 2008. He may not have been remembered well by the history books as he failed to win anything but there's a far bigger picture. Avram Grant lead Chelsea to 2 cup finals as well as narrowly missing out on the Premier League title by a matter of points. The first final he lost was the 2008 League Cup final to Tottenham after extra time. However, the most painful defeat came in the 2008 Champions League final against Manchester United. Chelsea captain John Terry stepped up to take his teams fifth penalty. If he scored Chelsea would have won their first ever Champions League. As Terry ran up to the ball he slipped as his shot clipped the post and went wide. Chelsea went on to lose the shootout and Avram Grant was sacked 3 days later having failed to deliver success. What goes unnoticed though is what could have been. Avram Grant had Chelsea on the verge of winning 3 different trophies and has the highest win rate of any manager the club has had to date. He may not be remembered fondly by the history books but it's time people start to give a lot more appreciation to the great work Avram Grant did at Chelsea.

@@poonopenandes1926 cool but.... In 1927, an unofficial version of the copa del ray was played for a unique chance for a foreign club to win the trophy. The club that ended up winning it was Scotlands Motherwell. Two foreign teams was invited into the tournament one obviously being motherwelll and the other was swansea. Motherwell defeated Swansea 4-3 in what was described by King Alfonso XIII as a "brilliant display of scientific football." Motherwell then went on to beat Real Madrid 3-1 in the final becoming the first and only non Spanish club to win the copa del rey.

@@adambassuni6084Cool but........ On 20 July 1871, in the offices of The Sportsman newspaper, the FA Secretary C. W. Alcock proposed to the FA committee that "it is desirable that a Challenge Cup should be established in connection with the Association for which all clubs belonging to the Association should be invited to compete". The inaugural FA Cup tournament kicked off in November 1871. After thirteen games in all, Wanderers were crowned the winners in the final, on 16 March 1872. Wanderers retained the trophy the following year. The modern cup was beginning to be established by the 1888-89 season, when qualifying rounds were introduced.[3] Following the 1914-15 edition, the competition was suspended due to the First World War, and did not resume until 1919-20. The 1923 FA Cup Final, commonly known as the "White Horse Final", was the first final to be played in the newly opened Wembley Stadium (known at the time as the Empire Stadium). The 1927 final saw "Abide with Me" being sung for the first time at the Cup final, which has become a pre-match tradition.[4] Due to the outbreak of World War II, the competition was not played between the 1938-39 and 1945-46 editions. Due to the wartime breaks, the competition did not celebrate its centenary year until 1980-81.

Jackson has been good all season. Yes he has missed big chances but he is still really young. But his overall play is incredible. He is one our most important players, his build up play his link up ability, his flick ons are absolutely superb. And lets not act like 10 non pen goals and 5 assists in 24 starts is bad for a first season in the prem for a 22 year old. Havertz was pretty average until March. And he goes invisible in alot of games, whereas Jackson is always involved in every part of our game. He is extremely underrated. Expected better from James tbh. Watkins for me and I'm a Liverpool supporter. You guys summed up Darwin so well . He's just HAS to be more clinical so atm since we have Diogo back and Cody is starting to find form I'd have Darwin on the bench. He brings so much to our team but we really need the goals and points at this time of the season . Having Darwin being subbed on in like the 60-70 minute would be game changing .

Isak isn’t in anyway shape or form a ‘classic throwback no 9’ he’s a LF for one, he’s not a great back to goal striker. Isak needs to have the ball at his feet running at defenders to make use of his dribbling ability or a ball played through for him to run onto. He will finish. He’s not amazing in the air which is crazy considering his height and he’s also pushed off the ball fairly easily. A fantastic player though.

The fact that we’re talking about Bowen as West Ham’s striker should tell all the Moyes in guys why they’re wrong. Imagine knowing that your main striker doesn’t score many goals and is injury prone but not buying another striker. Then to combat the issue you take your best winger out of his position, who also basically has no one to replace him, then stick him at striker. Shambles. Thank goodness for the magic of kudus and paqueta otherwise we’d be fighting relegation again.
