This is such a stretch. There’s nothing stopping Glimbus from ranking another person’s videos.

Glimbus laughing at his own jokes and ranking his own videos so highly is great to me. It shows he really enjoys what he’s doing. I can’t count how many times I’ve been going about my day and chuckled over a quote from one of his videos. I’ve said “another day another banger your grace” in far too many conversations at this point

Honestly. I’ve written this before. So if you’ve read it, just ignore it. but I went through a break up of about a 10 year long relationship. right about as I discovered your channel. And it really made my smile in a hard time. The point I’m driving at is that this is actually kind of low-key fascinating seeing your thought process and how your channel developed itself. I never would have thought GOT review Jon/Tyrion was after Pisstake Season 8 etc. Cool.

A Glidus career retrospective is one of the most relaxing things I could imagine. Sure hope you will do another Crusader Kings stream in the future with the news that the ASOIAF mod releases on April 14th, I can only rewatch your CK2 videos so many times!

I just want to say how wonderful it is to have a creator who admits to loving his own work even when it has flaws. It’s so tiring when artists go on and on about how they can’t watch their old videos because they’re ~so bad~ and they can’t believe anyone liked them and it comes off as very self-deprecating.

It's more then just an incredible analysis of the series; it searched for and found a level of hidden depth that I honestly didn't think was possible in the modern era. I know that people make video essays and reddit posts and share their thoughts and theories and whatever, but Glidus did something else entirely. Most people, when searching for depth, keep digging and digging in the same hole, but Glidus turned the face of the object, and dug a new hole on a fresh surface no one else had considered, finding a layer of complexity that, despite everyone else's efforts, we were blind to see. Glidus opened the door, and viewed the whole of the series from a lens that I believe George himself was writing through, but no other reader had yet to pick up on. I mean, I enjoyed ASOIAF before the horse video, but now I understand it. I understand that its themes run deeper and truer then anti-war, miscommunication, what it means to love, and the questioning of religion and justice. Those are simple themes, and Glidus proved the book is bigger then that. The real book is a system of allegories about the relationship between animals and the various aspects that make us human. It asks what humanity is, and what beast is, and it finally answers the question all humans search to answer from the moment we have the ability to breathe and think and feel: "What is the meaning of life?" Life is ahorse.

My fave glidus video ever is Oathbreaker. The takes with Bran and (not) Bloodraven and the expositioningness analysisization hooked me after I spit soda everywhere. And the Glidus Movie, of course. Thank you SO MUCH for the smiles and laughs you've provided over the years.

Sickly Mockingbird is still one of my favorites of yours. I just love the ending coda with the alien eggs, it brings the theory together in a great way!

Preston Jacobs Explained is one of the greatest videos in the history of mankind. I still go back and rewatch it when I need to almost laugh myself to death. The Edmure rant puts the Iron Throne episode S-tier. Sponsors in videos are usually annoying, and I skip them, EXCEPT with yours. Especially your Established Titles ones. You do an excellent job at making them entertaining.

I TOTALLY disagree that an advertisement makes a video worse. If that is how we're making sure you can keep making content it's a welcome sight! The fact that you pick sponsors you like and put effort into the advertisements is just more proof of the kind of dedication that this channel has spoiled us with.

Glimbus you gotta know that the Cat video is my fave of yours - I rewatch it a lot and I REALLY don't think you were nasty to the other creator.

Your episode 6 and 7 blisstakes are genuinely my favorites out of all the videos you've uploaded, you don't do anything revolutionary but it's your balance of great comedy and analysis that puts it up there for me.

Lord of the Tides is my favorite episode of House of the Dragon, I was waiting for your blisstake and I really liked (I cried again in the trone scene, even when you were talking about music theory, actually learning about the structure and impact of the music maybe made me cry and care for this moment even more). I rate "Beyond The Wall" S for all the timeless gags in it, including Boots and one of my favourites: Gendry The Flash. There's also that hilarious moment "THANK FUCK YOU'RE HERE! DID YOU BRING BRAN?!" Just so much greatness all in one. I also love "Eastwatch" so I'm glad it got rated S!
