They didn't think they were fine, that's the point. Good business (from the company's perspective) is to release powerful cards, have people spend money to buy and level them up, then nerf them over time to make them a little more balanced. You wouldn't release an underpowered Champion (for example) because then hardly anyone would buy it because why would they?

@@matteo964 - Well, like you said in your original post... you don't understand. Take Clash of Clans, for instance. Can we agree that it's much more successful and makes much better decisions than Clash Royale? Yes... and guess what? Their revenue and average number of players are continuing to go down... it's the natural progression of just about any game ever created, especially mobile games. Clash Royale still does $200 million annually, which is close to their 2020 numbers, so even if it's widely regarded that their decisions have been bad and are making people quit, the money is still coming in at a tremendous rate. The fact that they're still doing 9-figure revenue 8 years after launch is amazing. They probably never thought it would last this long and are just milking every dollar they can get the rest of the way, not caring if it dies. That's extremely good business for a mobile app developer, no matter how the fans perceive it.

As a P.E.K.K.A. player I can say, that it really isn't in a good state at all. It's usefull in Challenger 3 where people play stuff like E-barbs with MK and other stuff, but going higher (right now in Champion) not a top card. And now with evo wall breakers and evo bomber comming it will not be a good meta for me

I had an idea You could maybe every month do a "meta update" and update all the cards on your tier list which you think moved along with giving what decks and cards you think have gotten better and worse, and what new decks are going around could be interesting being easily able to compare it to the previous month easily, and would probably be around the same effort as usual tier list videos

Finally you put E dragon higher than D rank, thx for that... even if it deserves at least a B rank because of its win% also its used in many decks like balloon freeze and E golem

I hate the firecracker because if you don't have a fireball and it is evo then all of a sudden you are screwed because you need to use a bunch of elixir to finish her off and if you don't have anything for the firecracker at all then you are really in trouble because she can just sit back shooting forever it is probably the only card I wish didn't exist at all

29:03 the rascal boy still survives and allows more swarms to be protected, the opponent will think they got a positive elixir trade until they get their tower taken by a second swarm because they already used their small spell. How does this evolution idea sound? Musketeer with the same dps as cannoneer after 2 cycles. Same health. Maybe survive lightning, maybe not. But the dps is definitely worth it.

the normal knight has a 41% win rate and 6% use rate in gc, so no.

I think evo knight is more important to nerf. If normal knight becomes problematic in the future, then they can do that. But right now it's not a prioity and it's uncertain how good it actually is.

For evo ice spirit, *_Why it is weak:_* the concept itself doesn’t work very well. Other evos have good offensive capabilities. Evo ice spirit has nearly none. If you argue “but he has good defense,” yeah right good defense every 3 cycles, what about the other 2? If you can defend well the 2 other times, why do you need the evo ice spirit the 3rd time? If you need evo ice spirit to defend well, then what about the other 2 times you don’t have evo? Evo ice spirit needs better offensive capabilities, not just defensive ones __________________________________ *_How to buff it:_* An interesting prospect to buff it is by buffing its *_range_* . If it can jump earlier and further, it will more likely jump on the things you want it to jump on on the opposite side of the bridge. It also makes it more threatening because it will jump earlier. Maybe you can also increase its splash radius. Currently, evo ice spirit can easily be wasted if they just put skeletons or smth. If you can have evo ice spirit jump slightly further, then the chance of it jumping toward the target before people can react to it slightly increases, which makes it much better on offense while not buffing it much on defense

I never agree with your Electro Dragon ranking, I feel C tier is too low. Even though it’s decks are not used consistently at high ladder in this meta, it’s still a main catalyst in the decks it is used in, and with the support of tornado and/or rage it can single handedly win games with its support, can’t be lower than B tier

I feel that archers belong in D tier. Before their evo you only saw them on Mortar, which they can be easily replace or x-bow, which we all know it sucks. Its the same as barbarian, they are meh, but some decks used them because they are the only cards filling that niche.

no archers got buffed before that and became really good. theyre more versatile than a lot of support units, especially since u can split them. they die to arrows so automatically wont be that strong

@@rebjr6615 They aren’t. After the nerf and before the evo you only saw them on x-bow decks and everyone was putting them inside of D-tier. You NEVER see an archer inside in a deck where they arent the evo, unlike knight, firecracker, skeletons, etc.

Pekka doesn't respond to most things in the meta. Hog, miner cycle, balloon and graveyard are all very common right now. And even the one thing you could counter - goblin giant - often uses recruits in that same deck. It just doesn't deal with anything meaningful rn.

Its just that the regular ice spirit is already S tier and you can only have one evo card in your deck, so it would make alot of sense to just use a different evo card like evo knight. Evo ice spirit is just a wasted evo slot
