the XYZ mechanic itself is definitely my favorite exdeck mechanic in ygo and the rums have always been one of the coolest parts to me, It just feels like XYZ is more developed/fleshed out as a concept compared to something like synchro, despite being younger. and my love for xyz is prob why my favorite archtype in the game is Utopia.

One thing to note with the Numeron cards since they have the name and are normal spells you can activate them directly from the deck with Numeron network.

Admiration of the thousands should be the lowest, it requires your opponent to have an xyz of the same rank in their grave

Any rank-up-magic can be set from the deck with the Raidraptor link. Soul shave force can revive a used Force Strix to make Cyber Dragon Infinity to protect you from Nibiru and just to be a negate. The Phantom Knights' Rank-up-magic Launch can be used on an Arsenal Falcon to make D/D/D Duo-Dawn King Kali Yuga during the opponents turn so the opponent can't use any more effects that turn. Phantom Knights' Rank-up-magic Force is also just good like you said and so is Utopiforce. Overall a good video with some mistakes that are totally understandable because being aware of all the crazy shit people do in ygo is hard.

12:35 Such a deck does exist: Pure Utopia. Utopia decks hit a 2000 LP disadvantage easy with Xyz Change Tactics, which draws a card for 500 LP each time a Utopia is Xyz Summoned. As since this Utopia, which make liberal use of ranking up, 2000 LP are gone like that.

Utopiforce is the best by far because you get Dragonar, double attack Ultimate Leo Utopia Ray with any ZW card, and a Hope Harbinger off 2 level 4s.. You also draw like 8 cards if you have XYZ Change Tactics. You can also summon Draglubion and a 30,000 ATK Numeron Dragon in one turn.. Utopia, Utopia Prime, then Utopiforce make a 4 material Dragonar. You go Utopia Double into Leo first because you can't equip the ZW cards on your opponents turn. You also can't attack directly anyways so you may as well double up. Preferably you want Numbers Protection or Solemn for an immediate Raigeki but Utopic Sage and some of the ZW cards protect your Utopias anyways.

Simple instant win strat with utopia deck: Xyz summon utopia double Use effect and add double or nothing to your hand then xyz summon utopia Effect kicks in and utopia attack gets doubled Attack with utopia and use overlay to negate own attack Use double or nothing and 5000 x 2 = 10,000 That’s game

Utopia the Lightning can't be used as a material for a Xyz Summon so I'm not sure where you got the combo with S0 from. Also did you miss the fact Limited Barian can rank up to any Number C monster, as long it's one rank higher? It makes it a lot less circumstantial than Barian and Quick Chaos. The example you gave of it snatching a material from Zeus is a bit weird too, since they can just chain the effect.

Rank-Down does have its uses, though rather niche. For example, say you just zeroed out your opponent’s field with Utopia Beyond but they have a load of backrow and the monsters’ battle effects are still live. Numeron Fall let’s you rank down Beyond into Ray Victory to get its backrow locking effect, and Numeron Fall provides lingering protection for the summoned monster.

Imo it's unfair to criticise rank down, because beside Roots and Numeron Fall it's completely unexplored and has nothing to show yet.

The seventh one is the best card. If you draw this card and wins with it you can say that youre a Protaganist and have the Power of anime! Oh yea and you can fit it in every deck!

Shay Obsidian would be rolling in 'em so long as 2 things occur. 1: It's the real life. It's not just fantasy. 2: He likes them in the first place.

As much as I love Doom Double Force, I think it should probably have been lower on the list. Realistically, what are you going to summon with it? Satellite Cannon? Maybe. Ultimate Falcon? Maybe. Final Fortress? Definately not. Force Strix and Rise Falcon aren't big beatsticks but they also have no protection from effects. Same with Blaze Falcon. Revolution Falcon is almost impossible to destroy by battle, since it lowers Special summoned monsters ATK to zero when they attack it. I've managed to use it once with Revolution Falcon against a Blue-Eyes player who Normal summoned the big guy, destroyed Falcon and when I finally got to activate the RUM and summon Final Fortress, I got Solemned.

This list is your opinion, got it. For debate's sake, here's stuff to consider. Admiration Of The Thousands should be at the bottom of the list. The main issue is it requires a monster from "each" graveyard meaning your opponent needs to play XYZ monsters, have one in grave, and have it be the exact rank you need. After that, it aforementioned special summon restriction means you need to set up your grave on a previous turn... So this is a turn 3 play minimum (The LIGHT Mega Monarch is not realistic, don't even mention it). Then if that monster you summoned goes to grave, it's stuck there because it's NOT counted as a proper XYZ summon. This card is monumentally difficult to activate, especially since the days of the R4nk toolbox are long behind us. Then the payoff is not worth it. Raid Force is better than the quick-play RR RUM's. It doesn't rely on destruction or your opponent doing anything. Moreso, it turns ANY monster into a RR. It could have turned VFD into UF. Plus the recycle effect is utility that does fit into RR combos and sees play. It potentially can be used every game while the quick-plays are often bricks. Numeron Force is good because of Numeron Network, making it very searchable. The negation is also permanent and can't be understated. Also this negate is a THEN effect meaning it eliminates the response to summon window. Good for dodging on summon effects like Trap Holes or Torrential, bad for Masquerade cause he can't pop backrow. PK RUM Launch. This card is not power crept. It's better than Utopiforce. It makes DDD Kali Yuga and other cards a pseudo-FTK. The PK engine can and has been splashed in a ton of strategies while Utopiforce is just a key card in Utopia-focused decks that have never been meta. PK RUM Force also has cost and restrictions on it that limit its use. Launch isn't even limited to PK in any way. It becoming a material can make a difference as well cause it ensures whatever you summon won't be starving for cost. Then there's the ban list history to include. It's versatility and impact make it possibly the best RUM. Quick Chaos, while being more restrictive than your description, actually is useful. It can help your monster dodge targeting and push for more damage. The newer support cards makes it searchable and fine at 1 copy. Probably doesn't move it on your list. Skip Force and Soul Shave. I was going to question these, but the result in my mind doesn't change your list. I've gone back and forth on which one I run depending on the wave of support at that time. Having them searchable means both at 1 with Raid Force for recursion is fine, but the more RUM you run in one deck, the more they brick and the more you need to pick one over the other. I'd say Soul Shave is less important because Skip Force continues your combo into UF or FFF. Soul Shave usually just spits out Infinity and stops there, but can easily get you back in a game you almost lost. Also Skip Force is a -1 while Soul Shave is neutral advantage but can turn a RR into ANY XYZ monster R5nk and higher (well, except 11). So the question is, do you like negation or unaffected more? Last point though, Soul Shave can summon monsters that Skip, Launch and PK Force can't. If only the Extra Deck wasn't so insanely cramped.

There needs to be a Rank-Up-Magic that’s like Astral Force, only it ranks up by just one, like how in the anime it can rank up one or two ranks. Maybe they’ll create something like Limited Astral Force just for that.

If argent chaos force seems underwhelming that's because it is. Also you should really just judge the cards by themselves and not usability in combos. I came here for you to judge rank up magic cards, not rank up magic cards and other cards together. this card is power crept by Brian's force but you rank this higher despite that, now that's nonsense lol.

I would personally place PK's Rankup launch at number 1 and Pk's Rankup force at 2, and then Utopiforce at 3, but very good video nontheless

Personally, I'd say that Soul Shave is definitively better than Skip Force. Its ranking up is completely unrestricted (I love going into cyber dragon infinity with it), and the life point cost means you are almost guaranteed to get an activated Blade Burner Falcon after you use it

Huh? Skip force wasn't in the anime? I could've sworn shun used it to rank up his ultimate falcon to final fortress or something. Also I think you overestimate Phantom Knights' force too much, at the time you made this video, while some raidraptor variants in MD were using this as backup plan, the later more competitive variants ditched it entirely in favor for the 3 powercrept version (skip force, soul shave force, and phantom knights' rank up magic launch) simply because what they bring out is not restrictive in the case of the last 2 as soul shave force can bring out any xyz monster (mostly CDI), while launch can bring out any dark xyz monster (mostly kali yuga on opponent's turn), or ranking up for free in the case of skip force since you would need to banish some monsters to use pk force and it locks you out from summoning anything from extra deck except dark xyz, which makes it unusable before you summon the wise strix and rusty bardiche. Phantom knights' Rank up magic force was probably being played a lot in standard PK deck but I'm pretty sure back then 99% PK were rhongo turbo so yeah.

my comment is coming 11 months after post and will be talking with hindsight and is critque. So I do not disagree talking about cards with other combos in mind. Its might even be more than needed. (And ignoring that there are 2 rank-down magics. Numernon Fall, and Utopi Fall.) Continuing off because all my issues with your video are going to be wrapped up in your first card of the list. "Generally, higher Ranks are Better." No. This woefully not true. While yes there are strong high rank monsters. VFD. Most of the commonly xyz monsters I see get used are rank four and threes. Since they are far easier to summon and depending on the card. Be woefully busted. With it still on the ban list of the following. Lavalval Chain rank 4, M-X-SABER INVOKER rank 3, NUMBER 16: SHOCK MASTER Rank four, NUMBER S0: UTOPIC ZEXAL doesn't even have a rank! WIND-UP CARRIER ZENMAITY rank 3, And The infamously busted Zoodiacs. Which were released before this video. Are a rank 4 engine. And was tier 0. Even before then we had cards like Number 100 Numeron Dragon! You know. That rank 1 used in rank 8 otks. LYRILUSC - RECITAL STARLING was semi limited and is rank one. Out of all of my examples. Only two are not currently banned cards. So your logic isn't holding. And according to other comments (sorted up uploaded.) Show that your logic is consistent. I do argue with hindsight, but pure utopia decks existed for a long time. And listening to the video as a overall. All the RaidRaptor rank-up-magics should be really freaking low on the list. Since most work only with... Raid Raptors. And you meme about utopiforce, but like. Utopia roots a good card. Numeron Fall get Utopia roots out really quickly. And now. With Utopia Draco Future. UM. Excuse me. A one card cheat into Roots would be very good. Of course there are better cards. This is yugioh. But that being said. To call it bad for being specially one usable for one archtype bad would also make many other archtype specific cards in powerhouse archtypes. Also bad. Not everything needs to be Generic to be good. As clearly shown by you putting Hyper Rank Up Magic Utopiforce at number 1. As said before. All my issues stem from your number 20 choice. Because it grabs every issue in this video. And puts it as the first thing you see. My advice. Um... Learn more about the cards you're going to talk about. And try to be consistent with your logic. Really that's about it. Oh, and don't make generalizations so confidently without some back up to that merit. As for others who want to point something out. I'm aware there are rank xyzs cards higher than rank four. But they are outweighed by the many that are rank for or lower. Showing the generalization isn't true.
