The only thing i feel sad is, it's from pandora lore that 100 monster unleashed but there 1 hope, but the number monster ar not fully listed from 1-100 (like numer 27 or etc) (numer zero, or cahos imaginary is forgivable hehe)

Honestly wished that Master Duel did the number symbol with their animation. That, and just giving a ton more monsters an animation effect on summon.

The best thing about Xyz monsters in anime is the way the overlay units are depicted in Zexal and Arc-V

When Yuto first Xyz Summoned Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon, it was so iconic for me, mainly because I instantly loved Yuto’s design overall and I he was the reason why I didn’t stop watching ARC V.

The duel in general is great imo.

Neo Galaxy Eyes will always be my favorite. Kite's pure rage at Quatro, what the monster itself represents, and the way he summoned it is just awesome.

Dyson sphere is so overwhelming to face something bigger than the fkn sun. Still that epic shot of all the numbers in number 99's summon is the most epic ever

I would've included the summon of "Barian Hope". I just loved that moment. That and "Utopia Beyond". Maybe it's mostly because that whole duel was amazing to watch.

I was worried Utopia Beyond wouldn't defeat Barian Hope much like Rainbow Neos failed to defeat Yubel. Glad that's not the case. The fight being parallel to Char's Counterattack was a nifty bonus.

I totally agree, Zexal duels were so good at hitting those emotional moments esp yumas duels! Xyz summon animation in vrains is so cool, glad I wasn’t the only one who loved it!

Every single xyz card Shay uses has its own glory moment somehow. But the chants are just beautiful, the level of love,passion, commitment and respect to his birds is something I've seen in few ygo characters.

Watching this, I’m glad most of the Xyz Summons from Zexal I like were here, but Number C73 Abyss Supra is a personal favorite of mine The presentation of it all; the animation, the buildup, the soundtrack, but for me it was the narrative message I always saw the Barian method Ranking Up as like making a deal with the devil, the monster you summon has noticeable crimson energy flowing through it, and the Xyz material no longer orbited the Xyz monster, but became encased in metallic crystals, almost like a prison. It all just looked very unnatural compared to other ranked up Xyz monsters So when Nasch used it on his original ace monster, I saw that as Nasch truly abandoning his human life and embracing his new role as the King literally crowned by the devil 4Kids depicted the last scene where Nasch defeated Vector as a bad thing with the music, and I hate to admit it but that was totally appropriate, because up until Don Thousand returned, Nasch’s next target would’ve been Yuma I can’t stress enough how much I love the last episodes of Zexal

Next to Shark and Kite, Shay is my favorite character in the entire series. I was so happy when he debuted after Zexal was over because I was expecting the anime to be all about Penulums at first. XYZ Summoning is and always will be my favorite summoning method.

Xyz is definitely the best deck and with the best summon chants. My personal favourites include Revolution Falcon, Ultimate Falcon, Utopic Future, Utopia Beyond, Prime Photon Dragon. Everytime I use Raidraptor’s at locals, I alway get out of my seat, play Arc V’s soundtrack and perform the summon chant with the cherry on top shouting “Xyz Shoukon!” too which many around me love a applaud for.

Whenever I use my Pendulum deck, I always save Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon for when I need it because it's honestly a good monster for when your back is against the wall and you need to get serious. That card has been the deciding factor in a couple of my past duels with my brother.

Damn Zexal is so awesome

Definitely was thinking about Revolver's Borreload ExCharge Dragon against Lightning for this list. That said, my favorite Xyz Summon of the series has to be Kaito's Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon against III and IV. Such a satisfying moment when after being beaten down by the Arclight brothers, Kaito finally gets to make IV repent with a 6000 Atk dragon that can make three attacks in one Battle Phase.

Glad Number 9 made it to the list. One of my favourite xyz monsters in the game.

I'm surprised when Yuma summoned 3 random xyz monsters against tron during the tournament was not on this list. That was epic af

Another Xyz summon I love is Yuya vs Isao Kachidoki when he summons Dark Rebellion for the first time. Also this list makes me want to go back and re-watch Zexal.

Surprised Number 39: Utopia Beyond and New Order 13 didn't make it to the list.

Dark rebellion xyz dragon is such a cool monster

Xyz monsters hit the sweet spot for me. In Yu-Gi-Oh! there's not really a cost for actions taken except for changes in card advantage, so the idea of having monsters that can only activate their effects by "spending something as a cost" was a nice addition. Which is why I only play Xyz monsters in my extra deck

Okay, since you added all the ones i actually liked (except Dyson Sphere), gonna mention one you probably didn't: Hope Roots. The entire Zexal we have seen Rank Up and Chaos Xyz Change, which TCG wise are the same thing, so seeing a Rank-Down for the first time blew my mind and i wish Arc-V used it as well considering we have never seen Rank 1 Raidraptors or Phantom Knights nor a Rank 2 Raid Raptors.

Arc V brings many cool archetypes and battles as well: Fluffal and Frightfur, Raid Raptors, Phantom Knights... Love them all

odd eyes raging dragons summon is probably my favorite xyz summon. Yuya became so blinded with rage that he and Yuto were able to create a card that would destroy everything as well as the sadistic grin Yuya had through the fire before the direct attack make it a great moment

You can say whatever you want about Zexal but it def had one of the best summoning animations ever. Kaito summoning Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon for the first time will always get me and Yuma regaining himself back after Dark Yuma and summoning Utopia Victory are the two best moments for me!

Excelent choices! Xyz is my fav mechanic, and the anime does their summons justice.

For me the best xyz summon in the anime is and will always be the Barian Hope summon Seeing every over hundred numbers on the field being used as materials, seeing Barian Hope being summoned to the field, nash refusing to use the units because they are like his comrades' souls to him, it was truly a beautiful duel, and that end crushed my soul

XYZ SUMMONING IS THE BEST! I'm surprised Salamangreat Blaze Dragon wasn't here, but we still had so many awesome summons! I know they're not actually Xyz monsters, but it would have been great if you included Yuka's monsters since they're Zexal based.

This is the first time I heard zexal in sub and my 1st thought it that Yuma shouldn't sound cool

Every extra deck summon in vrains is unique. For the xyz, instead of galaxy, they use a satellite. But I still prefer the original (galaxy)

Out of the ones that didn't make it on, DDD Dou Dawn King Kaliuga and Barian Hope are my favorites. Along with DDD Wave King Ceasar and Wave High King Ceaser

My favourite XYZ summons are all of Kaito’s Galaxy XYZs and Dextra’s XYZs. Also it looks like Link summons or Pendulum summons will be next

Something to consider - Zarc was immune to the types of monsters it shared natures with. The one he didn’t have? RITUAL. His Achilles Heel - Nephyis, maybe even Yubel (depends on if being a Pendulum would make him immune to Standard Effect monsters (like ones summoned via Tribute Summon)

When yuya summoned rebellion against reiji. The music is what gets me the most. That piano brings me to tears

I know Links will be next but will there be a way to do best Pendulum summons? It be nice for them to get a ranking list too. Also, when Sevens is finished, you can rank each Maximum monster. Number 1 will obviously be Yggdrago or maybe Vast Vulcan.

One of my favorite xyz summon is when shark summnns Cxyz barian hope so i'm suprised it didn't make the list and an underatted one is also D/D/D Duo Dawn King KaliYuga as well for me

My favorite are Utopia ray v, all of shun, odd eye raging dragon and galaxy eyes prime photon dragon.

XYZ is my favorite mechanic in the Yugioh anime and franchise. But there some amazing cards that use other forms of summoning too but man… people used to hate on Zexal so much I feel so bad for them because it’s so enjoyable on its own outside of the slow first season until the heart tournament man this series is so fricking cool

Xyx summon is always my favourites. It's has an badass animation that other mechanics don't have.....like galaxy eyes that kaito need to throw it blade in to the sky first or hope(yes, I prefer hope not utopia) that when he's appear he will be like rocket or satellite form thing first and when yuma still chant it summon hope will slowly show it true form like a super robot thing...... it's very satisfied for me. Xyz summon has a style, impact, raw power, badass that I jaw drop and exciting everytime when they're summon something. Feel like I'm back to be a kid again that other mechanics can't make me feel this way. It effects don't go in to my head because, I'm still impressed by an animation and chant of xyz summon, specially when they're summon numbers lol.

I wish Cipher Dragon was here too. It's so epic to see Kaito back and also Photon Dragon now become Xyz Monster

Holy crap the summon for number 9 Dyson Sphere is so freaking ominous, I'd be scared as hell if I had to face that irl, it's so big
